Not true. Japan, specifically Tokyo, has had the highest fatality rate in the sport since like the 1940s or 50s. It's really no wonder why, either. Any Japanese world ranker that isn't talented enough to be truly elite always seems to be the brain dead plod forward and block with your face type fighter.
