>one of the greatest economies in Europe

>0% corruption
>will soon join EU, and once in, will lead it

>always protected Europeans from barbarian eastern menace
>very good at killing r*sshitians
Literally flawless, what went so right? Do you want your country to be more like Ukraine? I personally do, that's why I'm voting for Navalny in 20!8, so he can finally Balkanize R*sshitia and bring us closer to greatness of Ukraine.

never heard of such a country

Does Ukraine have space program or tigers?

i didnt think so

Why is it referred to (in America at least) as the Ukraine rather than Ukraine?

...

Because Ukraine is the greatest country, so you use honorable "the". It's that simple.

Ukraine is the legend

True

It's "more PC", because it means you're referring to all the territories that the Ukrainian government considers to be part of themselves, even Crimea.

Your answer is even more meme than mine, I'll give you that

Becuse Ukraine means "border area", the PC thing would be not to use "the".

That really is the reason, though. American political correctness is a special kind of stupid. Like how black people from England are called "African American" even though they're neither African nor American.

OP is actually a FSB troll trying to make Ukrainians look bad by acting like an idiot.

Ukrainians are the true Slavics, and Moscal Mongols are attacking them at this very moment, in order to undermine Europe itself.

Because we had no Ukrainian news outlets operating here. We did, however, have Russian ones that referred to it as the Ukraine (why they did that is up to you). This is also why everyone in America spells it Kiev instead of Kyiv.

Kiev/Kyiv is a language thing. Kiev is correct if you transliterate from Russian. Kyiv is correct if you transliterate from Ukrainian.

Naturally, English-speaking Russians would spell it Kiev. Ukrainians pretty much exclusively use/pronounce Kyiv, even those who speak Russian predominantly.

Tengri be praised

That is what I said. The news sources we got from Eastern Europe were in Russian, and thus a lot of our western perception of Ukraine came from a Russian lens. Most Americans think Ukrainians are totally identical to Russians in every possible way, the "Americans know nothing of Europe" meme is not actually a meme.

I miss the good ole times with ukraine and russia being friendly to each other.
Russians, Ukrainian and former USSR migrants are still hanging out in the same friend groups here in Greece but the damage has been done.

HAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

You have to go back.

>Most Americans think Ukrainians are totally identical to Russians in every possible way
It is true though. USSR made everyone into red soup.

Nice battle picture. 15 wooden coins were sent to your Bank of GULAG account, Putinshill.
