I 100% agree with this. The only remotely interesting part of this movie was the 2 minutes of Darth Vader, which could have just been a bonus feature on the next Blu-ray release of A New Hope. The rest of the movie was worthless in every aspect.

Should've cut out blindman turretman and pilotman (maybe he died from the slug thing, shows how brutal Saul Gureraburg was). Get rid of Tarkin, give his time to develop Whitecapeman more. Use other time to develop Cassian more, dude seemed like he had some range for drama and the character can explore the nature of sacrificing one's "soul" for the greater good more than the crumbs they gave us. Give more time to Whitegirl so she can seem less bland, but cut out that cringey speech she gave, no more speeches if the actor has no charisma.

Oh yeah and give Madds more time, I forgot he was even in this movie. Hell, have him and Cassian both be representations of sacrifice for the sake of others and all that shit.
