DEVELOPMENTS July 21 >Rebels are killed en masse in Aleppo >Multiple technicals lost to SAA >Rebels advance slightly in Lattakia >Houthi gains in Yemen Otto is crying again
>Me, I think it just means Nusra will be a new ISIS Al-Qaeda wont let them establish their own caliphate? How oppressive.
Grayson Ortiz
Since it appears to be legitimate, they[Al-Nusra] will still be the most extreme of the FSA's Factions. The USA and coalition will most likely use Al-Nusra's "severance" from Al-Qaeda as justification to directly fund and arm the group.

Following Tony Toh is the best thing to know what is happening in Yemen
A man wielding a machete has killed a woman and wounded two other people in the southern German city of Reutlingen before being arrested, the Bild newspaper has reported.
German police said that the man was a Syrian asylum-seeker who had been involved in previous incidents.
More details to follow ...

Yes, almost no support to KSA forces in South Saudi Arabia and the loses are growing very fast, when a line of defense collapse, Houthis will just roll in the land.
Also Houthis/Pro-Saleh forces are winning in every front.
they already claim he was not related to islam or isis in anyway.

i wonder the same... i cant figure out whats the prim-goal of the NSyA... Do they try to build a bufferzone to make sure in case the iraqi PMU wants to travel to syria they declare war against them - this is obviously tinfoil, meaning they protecting ISIS - and ISIS possible (?) supplylines through jordan (?) Since the alepposupply is in huge danger for ISIS, this could actually make sense and would be an fittin answere why ISIS is so annoying around palmyra (sure, would be huge propagande win by itself, if they recapture it, thats for sure)
I KNOW, I KNOW...jordan is in the anti-ISIS coalition, but i dont trust jordan...because reasons
you are absolutly right, they cant "protect" the whole border...from this point of view, they are most likely just a meme army, but who knows
i would really like to know what other anons think or even KNOW about them...
It's just hohol maps being dumb as per usual. It's attributing vast expanses of wasteland to rebel groups to make them seem more powerful to the layman.

More purges. More power to Erdogan More shilling by Washington to keep Turkey in NATO
Nothing really new or unexpected.
Erdogan can start a Kurdish genocide and NATO will keep him as an ally due to the strategic location it inhabits.

Ivan Sidorenko reports that Qizhil militants have left the town after some clashes happened, and now residents are getting their relatives to come home
Qizhil was for a long time under truce
Last week saturday, the militants in Qizhil suddenly started advancing towards the town Khirbet al-Sawda, as militants from the northern Homs pocket were trying to take it - breaking the local truce.
It was already reported last week that the militants were, under a local agreement with them and the town elders, transported to the Rastan pocket after this occurence
tl;dr: Rebels break local truce, town elders want them gone, now families invite their relatives back because the town is of course safer under the Syrian government
