Civil War Thread SPOILERS

Let's talk about Civil War

P.S. Ant Man and Spidey stole the show

Did it?

>Age of Ultron was 6-7/10
>Captain America was 12/10
By that math Civil War makes up for Age of Ultron

Press F to pay respects

Zemo a cute :3

>Aunt May

Zemo was amazing

I loved Ant-Man and especially Spidey, but this is honestly the best Tony Stark since Iron Man 1 and Cap felt very refreshing after the personality he's been carrying for the past few movies.

F

Spidey stole the show in the sense that they shoe-horned his cringeworthy in there for loads of screentime. I could do without the dorky lovable teenager character trope in a movie for the next 20 years, to be honest.

I liked the scene in Avengers HQ with Wanda and Vision.

Everyone was at their best, really

>loads of screentime

Lmao wut

If you're gonna bitch at least check your facts

F

Wow.

>Helen Cho and Ultron didn't give him taste buds

Worst Creators. The Worst.

We need decent Spidey footage for more 60s fun

DD

So did Zemo won? Avengers is now disassembled.

She's bustin at the seams

>mfw

Bb-b8

The scene that got the loudest audience reaction at my theater was Sam and Bucky's faces watching Cap kiss Sharon.

Kek

I'm honestly not sold on Black Panther yet. It feels like he's got a lot more story to tell, and hopefully his solo gives us that.

Pretty much.

F

The niece won the capbowl

I'm going to miss those Daredevils

Will this bitch ever not ruin everything?

Seriously handle your shit woman

What's everyone's favorite quip?

>HOLY SHIT

Report, sage and hide.

Not really, Cap has his new Avengers and a sort of partnership with Stark

They're fractured but not so much that they can't recover when they need too

Kind of funny the Avengers can barely stick together, changing every movie tho

The love of my life just died, I'm gonna fuck her niece!

Probably will never happen, but I think Daredevil (probably the only one from Netflix) would fit nicely in the larger MCU. Could be a nice guest star in a Spidey film

When they tell Cap Peggy died in her sleep.
That was really funny because it happened to me.

Ant Man didn't steal the show.
Black Panther though? Every scene he was in was epic.

>You have the right to remain silent
>I got homework

Not technically a quip but

>Hi, I don't think we've met. I'm clint

>I don't care.

Cap is truly a man's man

Daredevil could easily work in Spidey if they wanted him too, I don't buy the "2mature" bullshit

Scott had the funniest lines in the movie

It's like the anti-quip

After that scene in S2 with him swinging I think he can do well in MCU movies.

Shit it was for

>Hank always said to never trust a Stark

>I'm sorry, who are you?

Daredevil: Finally, a superhero that doesn't kill.

You could at least get the quotes right.

I actually found Ant-Man way funnier than Spider-Man in this

Yeah, let me pop in my BDrip to quote it faggot.

>Cap has his new Avengers

But he took off the mantle once he dropped the shield. So I think he's not Cap anymore.

And he helped the captives to escape so he and his team are in hiding now.

I would be so happy if they squeezed in a Daredevil appearance in any MCU movie, especially if it was about the same size and quality of Spider-Man's one in Civil War.

I guess the reverse would also be pretty cool, but I don't know if Spidey could fit in all that grittyness, among other things.

>Look buddy red suit, swinging around NY, Im seriously thinking of getting a lawyer
or better yet
>Youre blind?!?! Oh my god oh my god Im so so so so sorry! I mean its awesome you can fight but holy crap

Yeah but he gave Stark the phone

Basically saying "We're gonna go save the world loser lmao call me if you need us"

>announcing sage

Also Crossbones dying was bullshit

Another villain wasted smdh

Apprantly they debated having him in Civil War, played by the Netflix guy even, but decided not to.

Crossbones was never gonna be a big villain, they used him well, and Zemo lived

>Who is speaking?
>This is your conscience. We, uh, don't talk much.

yfw Secret Avengers

Well one's a menace and the other's a literal thief, no surprise there.

F

F

For now. Marvel plans are always in flux. But realistically Id be fine with just a Spidey tag team. Actually come to think of it he would be a great supporting character like Sam is to Cap

>yfw "I don't care, he killed my mom"

This
I wish there was a Black Panther movie before this

Almost a winning hand

>sends Stark a flip phone

Cap will always be behind the times.

And without any size-changers dying either.

...

Dude when he fucking straight up blasts falcon when rhodey fell out of the sky.
>tfw Rhodes was just being a bro and got dealt the worst hand
>tfw everyone in the theater gasps when he it the ground

also Sam was probably getting flashbacks to Riley.

Zemo ultimately failed. There's now a team of loose cannons doing whatever the fuck they want.

"My father made that shield!"

I like how Sam immediately went after Rhodes when he saw what happened.

Kek it took me a friend telling me that Thor wasnt in the movie to realize his absence. Two days after seeing it.

Poor guy

Crossbones was underutilized. Not bad, but could have been a lot more than what he was.

>Stank cannot see his dad anymore to say sorry
>Stank cannot see his jolly mom
>Stank cannot greet his parents a Merry Christmas anymore

So, who's team IronMan here after watching the movie?

Vision constantly dropping his spaghetti around Wanda was fantastic.
>phases into her room unannounced
>Vision, we talked about this

The film has enough characters as it is

I just read this woman (Miriam Sharpe in the movie) was also cast as a different character in Luke Cage. Does it confirm we're never seeing the TV universe in a movie?

I'm wondering what's going on with Pepper? Stark seemed miffed whenever she's brought up and they even said
>sorry about that Tony
so did Pepper get seriously hurt after IM3?

>Give me back my Rhodey

Yeah but Cap doesn't have the resources and Iron Man doesn't have the freedom.

This actually makes the Defenders and SHIELD make more sense, since the world no longer has a "save everything" button, and they can justify sending the Secret Warriors instead of Iron Man from within the show, since they have the government characters.

Fucking this.

People don't realize that shit. He even fucking abandoned Cap to chase down the falling Rhodes.

Also, was IMs flight damaged at that point? Can't he fly super sonic? How could he not catch up to Rhodey in free fall?

Also, blasting Falcon was just a dick move. It wasn't his fault. Vision. Fucked up and would have fucking killed falcon and hit warmachine anyway.

yfw Peter said "HOLY SHIT!"

What's going on is her actress doesn't want to be in the movies and they're writing around that

They've double cast people before but it's a shame, a TV connection would be nice

>Go in team cap
>Come out team sad

who is this cock shock.

Yes

I would imagine that Spidey is going to be the bridge between the MCU's TV shows and the big screen

They were already a team of loose cannons in Zemo's eyes, but they will be hunted by international law at every turn. He succeeded in weakening the team and limiting their freedom to act.

Tony was the only one looking out for everyone's best interests and he got dealt with the worst card for all his troubles.

Which team would Banner and Thor go to after this?

That's Agent Peggy Carter to you, worm.

>Can you move your seat up?
>No.

>You couldn't have done that earlier?
>I hate you.

Sam being salty about Cap and Bucky being BFF's was adorable.

you're confusing Portman with Paltrow
I just wanna see Matt and Kingpin show up in the movies man. Would've been nice to see who Daredevil would've sided with.

Ant-Man disabled his hand thrusters and SW fucked up his suit a heck of a lot.

Also, IM was emotional and boiling with rage. It was nobody's fault really, Rhodey trusted in Vision's abilities but Vision couldn't deliver.

The Russos made sure to balance all the blame pretty well.

>everyone's best interests
>got most of them locked up in cells

T-thanks Tony

Banner and Thor would both abstain

Confusing? Why not both?

>Vision. Fucked up
half this movie could have been avoided if vision wasn't fucking up
>muh greater good
>relying on humanity (especially marvel humanity) to act in it's best interests/do what's right

Banner would want to be kept in check

Thor is on team "fuck off with your midguard politics I defend the 9 realms"

Both parties have points

>Iron Man
Emotional breakthrough

>Cap
Can't trust government after Hydra infiltrated it

Hard to decide... It's one of my favorite aspect of the movie, once Cap and IronMan decided to go to fight each other, you can't simply decide on who's side are you on.

Just simply amazing. Based Russos!

Tony's levels of butt devastation were truly incredible in this movie.

did you not pay attention? she broke up with tony

must've not heard it clear, thanks.
