What's the big American city foreigners think is the coolest?

Truth or Consequences, TX

I always liked San Francisco for some reason

New Orleans is underrated as shit desu

i liked New Orleans, had an old laid back feel to it absent elsewhere i went.

i think new york is cool because i like tall buildings

The one that based Kim choses first.

Seattle

San Fran as a concept, but I hear it's full of fags and hobos.

New Orleans seems fun, but it's never thought of as a big city. In fact, most I hear about it makes it seem like a small-ish town, despite me knowing it's huge. Probably because of the smaller/less modern buildings and jazz vibe.

Jerusalem

NYC and Seattle. Denver looks ok.

That's in New Mexico

Fucking love Rapid City SD and La Crosse WI

New Orleans is basically Amsterdam, right?

please visit los angeles (in 50 years)

Isnt it crime ridden?

America has only 4 states with white population over 90%. Think about it

Favorite: New York and San Francisco
Least favorite: Las Vegas

Buffalo Pond, Wyoming

Stockton, CA

That's not a thing.
t. Wyoming pro

Best city in WY is Thermopolis

LA looks like shit compared to the rest of California.

New Orleans is famous for its French Quarter, which is French colonials filtered through 200~ years of American ownership.

Stockton is arse
Best city in CA is Solvang

...

Yeah but the general atmosphere looks like modern-day Amsterdam

The tourist areas are fine

Miami

Miami is arse
Best city in FL is Palatka

I went on a trip in USA. I did new york, the national parks in the south west (arizona, nevada, south utah and south california), las vegas and san francisco.
Everyone i met was very cool until san francisco where i met the highest density that i ever saw. Is it just me or are they well known in USA for this ?

highest density of assholes*

Yes, California is douchebag central

Yes

San Francisco is legendary in the United States for being full of the smuggest 'we're better than you' people on the continent. Don't worry, absolutely everyone (outside of SF) thinks that.

san franciscans are a mix of provincial cunts + gays + homeless + techfags
a.k.a. cancer in human form

nyc
sorry rural and suburban retards

Europeans need to understand that urban USA, suburban USA and rural USA are all different dimensions. Like it doesn't even feel like the same country (suburban is the worst btw)

NYC

>Before I went to the US
>New York, San Fran
>After that
>Chicago, DC, Seattle
I haven't been to Boston and Philly yet. Mb going there might change my opinion.

>New York
Way too intense to live in, but I admire it.
>Chicago
Way too dangerous, not a fair trade for being a lesser New York. Isn't this the murder capital of the states?
>New Orleans
I imagine that its jazz and beans side is a tourist trap, disguising crime, poverty, and racial divide.
>Los Angeles
World propaganda headquarters, the capital of all that is base and sensate.
>San Francisco
I liked it. Would consider living there.
>Las Vegas
Very fake and over-the-top but in a super American way. Plus really cheap flights out there from where I live. I'll visit every once in a while.

Isn't Austin supposed to be cool too?

Also, this.

I would live in Seattle if I didn't already live in Vancouver.

as tourist traps go, NO surprisingly has few. Because the type of person that is attracted to such a place is not like that. Its not for plastic people, its for weirdos, drunks, gays, french etc

Isn't Marti Gras a giant tourist attraction?

NYC

I have family in Augusta, Maine (family is half Murican). City is comfy as fuck and as genuine feel. Like the most. The rest of big cities I visited gave me Latin America feel for some reason.

Chicago and Philadelphia were depressing AF.

San Francisco is filled with assholes. Most people in California are friendly. The Bay Area is the exception.

Some of our cities are latin in origin (spanish). Miami, san diego, Los angeles etc

Most of the negative stereotypes about california come from that area, either that or I think of rich blonde white kids from OC

I didn't visit those though. I only visited the North East coast.

Next time I'm going South if the money lets me.

Chicago, duh

I'm surprised the NE gave you a south american vibe, its supposed to be new england.

LA was nice 50 years ago
Not now when it's le 25% face

Some of it did for some reason especially Chicago. It's the way the infrastructure is.. is like they don't care.
It's not the style or the architecture.

why is suburban the worst?

Literally wtf is wrong with you.

everything was worse 50 years ago except traffic

NYC and LA

Vegas.

Apparently Vegas is shit to live in but it would be a fantasy world for me.

Bend, Oregon is the most aesthetic/comfy US town

Don't believe me? Go to good maps street view and see for yourself
