I love the sense of melancholy and it is hard to find here.

Russia obviously

ex soviet countries

Moldova

It's probably Russia though. I doubt you have the same sense of isolation in Moldova that you must have in some far away russian villages.

UK

Ukraine

...

the further east you go, the worse it gets

ukraine made me feel most depressed of them though

Russia of course

very nice

where have you been

any country with cold climate

...

...

...

...

...

Is that a Tatar mosque?

...

It's called Nord Kamal Mosque, it's the northernmost mosque in the world

Good to see other people enjoy this type of scenery. I wish I had a buddy to go urban exploring with. Abandoned places are amazing for that sad and gray look.

...

...

Even I wouldn't want to live here

Scotland aka Russia with shortbread

>It was built by Mukhtad Bekmeyev, an ethnic Tatar native of Norilsk

noice

Is Norilsk the most depressive city in the world?

...

yes

I really find this very beautiful, it's so hard to explain, it's a very sober, heart broken kind of beauty.
Made me grow and great interest for east europe and its cinema a few years back. One day I shall visit it.

Looks like a place built for robots, but unexpectedly inhabited by humans

since you are brazilan you dont need a visa to visit russia

I bet Norilsk looks nice in summer

why is grey depressing?

i think its the architecture not the color, for example I love the forerunner buildings in halo

...
