Have you ever read something where you fell in love with the villain when you were clearly supposed to hate them?

These "stealth" Homestuck threads are getting a little esoteric.

Honestly, the main reason I'm looking forward to Hiveswap is the fact that we can all just move over to a new home on /vg/ and live there for the rest of time.

I could understand the appeal some villains have, but how anybody could love that little turd burglar Caliborn is beyond me.

/vg/ isn't going to take us, I'm telling you right now. Hiveswap threads are deleted on sight. They don't tolerate us when we have a fully funded Kickstarter, several trailers and false starts, a retool, and an active development team. I don't think the game actually coming out is going to make them suddenly decide we're "allowed" on there. Unreleased games are entirely permissible, except for ours.

Are you fucking serious

Yes, I am.

I recommend we try to make our case here. Films based on comics are allowed to have threads here, so games based on webcomics should get a pass. However, we have this one janitor who nukes us for hours on end during randomized intervals on every given day, and he's yet to be disciplined for this, so it doesn't look good for us.

No.

Its done, give us some goddamn peace.

/trash/ is right over there.

Just go to trash where you belong.

Fuck off back to your Sup Forums capeshit. What do you mean "give us some peace". How are we disturbing you in any way?

Look. I get that Sup Forums will never accept us. I'm fine with that.

But once we have a game, we should be able to get onto /vg/. Katawa Shoujo General has been going for over 3000 threads. We already have more fan-content than they'll ever have.

/vg/ would just kick us off for not talking about hiveswap but homestuck as a general. Homestuck in Sup Forums already has a bad stigma, mods are looking for any excuse to just shut the whole thing down

yep

If Undertale generals are okay, fucking Hiveswap generals would be okay.

All I'm saying is that if the janitors and mods have the time to be screening minute by minute for homestuck threads then there's no excuse for the board to be so polluted with so many other garbage threads

Over my dead body.

We should, yes, but we're not going to. There's apparently no actual way to keep the janitors/mods on this site in check and prevent them from doing as they please regardless of the rules.

which is retarded given that sonic and megaman gens are almost always about the comics nowadays

>Homestuck in Sup Forums already has a bad stigma
It's no worse than any other popular thing.

Probably better since the Homestuck "fad" was five years ago and no one cares anymore.

Ehhhh, I don't know if I really buy the whole mod conspiracy thing.

I don't think there has ever been a general that got kicked off of /vg/ for any reason other than lack of interest. You can't use Sup Forums as a standard; Sup Forums is kind of weird.

Homestuck isn't a big deal anymore and these threads here aren't like HSG was back in the comic's heyday. We're as on-topic as any other thread, honestly moreso than most of them, and while a few trickles of our own meme culture spill around every now and then, we're hardly the completely anarchic shitposting porn paradise that HSGs used to be. It's time to leave us alone because we're just like everybody else now.

I'm not saying it's an organized conspiracy, I just think Homestuck garners the same sort of negative attention as that horse thing and mods would be inclined to wipe it and get away with wiping it.

I don't think you understand. /vg/ is meant to contain autistic generals, we'd fit right in.

It's not my misunderstanding, slick. /vg/ mods purge us when they notice us, regardless of how well we fit in.

If a demo is ever shat out, give it another shot on there.

yeah but the horse thing got its own board
it was the only way they could make a rule against it

Yes, it's fine to keep trying, I'm just telling you what I've seen. It's deleted every time. I've never seen one last more than about half an hour. Try it right now if you want.

can we not

not what

Has there ever been a general on there where the game wasn't released yet and had no release date or anything playable for it though like a beta? I think that's what the problem is.

theres no game and it's a big deal for them to produce a game

there isnt any updates either, probably because it'd be "maybe it'll be done in Winter"

>These threads will be no more soon
This is more bittersweet than homestuck's ending

I'm pretty sure that's acceptable. I've never seen anything like that deleted, but I've never stuck around in those threads.

What were some examples?

just give us /cog/ already holy shit

it's fucking bullshit
we aren't asking for much
I just want a tiny corner of Sup Forums to talk about homestuck in
moot understood that it was necessary for there to be a place where video game generals could exist
if you're too much of a crybaby to let us post on Sup Forums then make a place for Sup Forums generals
but stop deleting threads that aren't breaking any rules
unequal moderation is an abuse of power

Overwatch

How would you have felt if the "Calliope is LE" theory had come true?

It has a closed beta, about to be open though too.

It does now, yes.

>no news on the epilogue
>no news on the game
>no communication at all about anything since the comic ended almost a month ago
Come on Hussie

The thing is, the mods can abuse their power all they want because nobody can fucking stop them
The admins clearly don't give a shit, and who else is going to step in?
The best part is that you can't even complain because nobody is going to side with the undesirables that plagued Sup Forums for 4 years and ruined the board

please, do literally whatever homestuck shit you want

yeah it was us that ruined Sup Forums

>ruined the board
eh not really
we were consistently contained to a thread; it wasn't like ponies where people were posting them everywhere

The oldest general I looked up for it on fireden was made when the closed beta was beginning. Were there more before that that weren't deleted?

fuck off
if we wanted threads filled with porn and no moderation we'd just use /aco/

You know, there's technically a Homestuck general over on /cgl/.

Really? Homestuck cosplay is still popular?

homestuck threads on /trash/ have been deleted for almost a week now

You could also use the thread for not porn and discussion
But that's your fault, isn't it

no it isn't
we can't enforce rules against porn for our own threads
if the board isn't sfw, it's not a viable place for discussion

Every time I make a homestuck thread on trash the mods delete it
So no, we can't do that

I feel like it's a little too late to cosplay Homestuck now, but there's some impressive work in that thread

well when hiveswap comes out,
remember to put a link to the steam page as the first thing in the OP

Do we even know if its actually coming to steam?

Yep. Not nearly as crazy as it was back in the day, but still going strong. Cosplay was a huge, huge part of the reason Homestuck got so big in the first place.

How would a SBRUB session between Sweet Bro, Hella Jeff, sweet bro's mom and Geromy go?

Extremely well

>hussie host it on a website like namco high
>it goes down within the 2 years just like NH
Its just a puzzle you aren't smart enough to figure out :^)

mspfanventures.com/?s=14113

Was namco high ever mirrored
I never actually got to play that fucking trainwreck

Is this homosuck 2?

>not having the offline version

>that guy playing through it for Sup Forums when it released
>he got banned for one of the homestuck routes
Top fucking kek

>>>>>>HEINOUSSTUCK IS UPDATING AGAIN
HOLY SHIT

This is vaguely and nonspecifically unsettling
Too bad it last updated 5 days ago which means the author probably quit.

or he only does it on weekends

What's the appeal of that story

I don't care, but how did you do this?

I think whats creepy is the way how rose and Karkat react to it. They obviously know something's wrong.

Also it literally just updated today lol

Actually its another person continuing the fanventure.

>mspfanventures.com/?s=14113
Well, It actually got a chuckle out of me

>vaguely and nonspecifically unsettling
How pretentious can you be describing a parody?

Well maybe you can vaguely and nonspecifically shove it up your ass
