WE

Too many wh*te people

TOO GOOD FOR CAPESHIT

>same director as Snatch
What the fuck happened? Did Madonna take Guy Ritche's soul or something?

>English actor
>Playing a Welsh king
WE

TELL ME WHY TELL ME WHY

>King Arthur
>white

Last time I'll ever be optimistic for a movie.

The real King Arthur was a nubian

King Arthur got white washed.

>Another oppressive patriarchal movie about white "people"

Ugh, like, can you not?

>look up the trailer song
>it's literally just what's in the trailer

>make historical movie
>don't appeal to history nerds because "hur we might be making nerd shit but let's pretend like we can market this to a wide audience with a led zeppelin song!
>trash movie that didn't appeal to the audience that actually watches this type of movie

into the trash it goes. HBO rome does some costumes right and nerds are talking about it to this day, seriously hollywood get your shit together.

>Man from U.N.C.L.E 2 never ever

It looked fucking awful

>movie about a KANG
>hire some lame white boy
>user acts surprised it bombs

Even Aidan Gillen couldn't save it?

I never liked the lead actor there's just something about him that bugs me.

They're representation of King Arthur was completely incorrect.

Jesus Christ. They didn't reach out to black and they got blowback to brown.

Muh club

Not surprised really.
Still bummed tho

What do Guy Ritchie and Lays Potato Chips have in common? They both come in a plastic bag.

And people say Sup Forumsmblr isn't real...

>Camelot Singularity will never get animated

how long until AT&T shuts these retards down for making so many shitty movies and losing so much money?

Fuck rt, but was it that bad? Guy Ritchie movies are usually pretty good, guess this isnt his genre

I hope the Mayans series brinks back shitposting like this.

What is sarcasm for 500 Alex

here's a good rule of thumb

Is it WB? It's shit

i like jackie boy(at least in SOA) but he just doesnt work as a protagonist
he's a pretty boy and thats all. he's just not good enough

>RedditTomatoes

Why indeed.

Nice so it's certified Kinographe since we all know critics who give movies high ratings are almost always wrong.

kek

Racist piece of shit. Kys you Nazi.

Holy shit that's bad. I was sort of hoping trailer was missleading but I guess it's another blunder

hahaha
I wonder if it could be worse than the 2004 movie. That was the worst film I've ever seen in theaters.

as long as this pos still up

Fucking hell lads, I just wanted another fun swords and sandals movie like Kingdom of Heaven, Troy or The Last Samurai, is that too much?

it's dropped to 5% already

>paying attention to rotten tomatoes
Still watching. Hate Brigade clearly out for Ritchie. He hasn't made a bad movie, even Revolver is decent.

Watch it be pure kino with audience score in the 80 plus bracket which wouldn't surprise me since critics are plebs

>Sony actually has more successful movies than WB this year
God just put them out of our misery already

I thought it get like 20

Could it be as awesome as pic related?

This will forever be the only true King Arthur Kino.

Holy fuck. Get some taste.

Why are they mechs? It looks like it's a poster for Zone of Enders

Gods of Egypt is The Mummy of this century

It's genuinely fun, creative and cheery

>still using rotten memetoes
metacritic.com/movie/king-arthur-legend-of-the-sword
>44%
Still shit but come on we've been through this

I thought The Mummy of this century was going to be The Mummy of this century

This is a movie where Ra LITERALLY drags the sun around the flat earth with a sailboat and fights a giant worm made of darkness and lighting that comes from outer space

Mech gods are at the bottom of the weirdness scale here

If (((they))) had made Arthur black instead of one of his knights the cucks on Reddit Tomatoes would be giving it good reviews.

Man From UNCLE had similar I think, I thought that was pretty good

You realize that they had a great year in 2016 right?

21 reviews
>11 reviews

Boy I wonder which one is more trustworthy

>This is a movie where Ra LITERALLY drags the sun around the flat earth with a sailboat and fights a giant worm made of darkness and lighting that comes from outer space

That's Ancient Egyptian mythology though

Guy Ritchie was cultured as fuck on the latest JRE so I sort of wanna check this out.

The trailers had a black man in it though; is this movie revisionist history ala "Battlefield 1" or is it a solid little action flick?

Vote here

Maybe it wasn't good?

>not understanding rotten tomatoes
the average score is 4.7/10 on RT and 44/100 on Metacritic

rotten tomatoes gives it a 4.4/10 - literally the exact same score. It's only rated 5% fresh because the tomatometer is the just ratio of fresh reviews to rotten reviews, with no middle ground

>4.4/10

my bad, they added one more fresh review while I was posting that

Why are you defending a movie you haven't seen? Is it a shill thing?

Tell me why were people excited for this PG-13 action schlock again?

Charlie Hunnan is a shit actor and Guy Ritchie hasn't done a good movie since RocknRolla,

Looks top "few pints with the lads then watch" banter tobehonest boys

He can only do spy and gangster movies, I don't know why he tries anything else.

It's got Aidan Gillan playing as "Goosefat" Bill Wilson. If that's not enough, then you're on the wrong board.

>Real RocknRolla never ever

It's visually creative, has a couple of good actors and the concept of the knights being medieval chavs has the potential to be funny

I'm not looking for a challenging complex story and I'm not insecure enough to demand only R-rated action

...

It's not about being insecure, and PG-13 action is fucking shit, limited as hell.

Name ONE good PG-13 action movie, and i'm talking pure action, none of that fantasy bs like LotR.

youtube.com/watch?v=UyOg0mt2R2k

>and I'm not insecure enough
you'd have to be really insecure to write bullshit like that

Thank god he's making the jump to Disney

called it

>WHY
it's probably as shitty as the trailer suggested

Their biggest film, BvS, was a box office disappointment.

Casino royale

>made profit
>box office disappointment
you might aswell say The Force Awakens was a box office disappointment since it failed to beat Avatar

>It's visually creative

It looks like fucking Warcraft you retarded AIDS victim, there was no reason to even attach this at all to King Arthur

>being this pleb
maybe read up by Ritchie went for this direction.

so why isn't there a single fucking movie about charlemagne and the 12 peers? It's literally King Arthur except the Main Character isn't an asshole.

Honestly this was pretty fun. Didn't take itselff seriously, Coster-Waldau and the other guy were a fun onscreen duo, the love interest was a cutie, the plot was solid and the imagery and screenplay was pretty. No idea why people trash it so much.

am i one of the few that gets triggered when somewhere like JRE has become a show that gets guests only because they have something coming out soon? like i dont mind if its a guy thats always been on before, but some random guy, first time, just to advertise a new project, especially a bad one at that. that is not the spirit of what he's been doing all along

This was unexpectedly great.
It's like someone took some stupid action-fantasy b movie from the 80s and gave it a modern summer blockbuster budget.
It's dumb as hell but it's interesting how a movie like that could even be made today.

After watching the trailer I have no idea what this is supposed to be.
Is it straight up fantasy?
Some gritty retelling of historical events like 300?
Some medieval superhero movie?

I think thats part of the problem, king arthur is a tainted property in the eyes of normies.
Just like Man from U.N.C.L.E. the title alone pushes into the "who fucking cares" category and general audiences just tune out.
Its a shame because Richie is a great director and deserves better.

it has its good and bad points. Ritchie seemed quite good and was annoyed their chat was interrupted

>dat per-emptive strike
Nobody wants to see niggers.

white european movie in this day and age? what did you think was gonna happen? there was no gang shootings, cop killing, hip hop music, or even a twerking scene. so it was obviously racist uncultured shit.

Yeah Sup Forums is getting a little too "sarcastic" this days

>making western historical movies in 2017

hating white culture is all the rage these days, gotta know your market.

You have to realize that in these capeshit franchises this movie is bankrolling the next. You dont spend a half billion dollars in production and marketing to make 100k. Especially not with a big tentpole project.

It's a Warner Bros movie, isn't?

Beside the WE WUZ narrative included, I bet it is because of WB.

>the city of DC

b-but muh MonsterVerse :(

Why are you surprised? This movie looked fucking awful.

Universal can take over and probably do MUCH better

They paid Suicide Squad with the profits and Suicide Squad had a better Return On Investment than Civil War so don't worry

This movie looked fine but fuck it, Ritchie is too uneven I can see it being a piece of shit
