Hell yes

It's only been a few years, so yes. It's still a near-perfect adaptation of the classic Avengers, with love evident in just about every episode.

It really shits the bed in the second half of the second season, though.

No. To cheesy and serialize for me

If the second half of the second season is shitting the bed, how is Avengers Assembled?

Really it was only the 2nd season finale that was shit. It definitely felt rushed.

Avengers Assembled is forty straight seconds of dysentary-driven explosive fartshit, the last ten of which are mixed with blood.

Season 1 was really good.

S2 was a bit too Captain Gary Stu-centric but still watchable.

It was more that the love there just didn't feel as evident. There was a much stronger sense of "alright can we please write one line of dialogue for Wasp-" "HAS WASP BEEN IN A MOVIE YET"

Its pretty good

Are you ok, user?

...

Such a shame the quality went down the crapper in season. The entire Skrull arc was terrific, and all the episodes peppered in between were great.

>5 years later
>season 1 theme is still HYPE

*season two

You guys know why right? Because they brought Man of Action and Loeb took over for the second half of the second season.

That episode where Thor, Tony, and Steve lost their powers? Man of Action.

I won't be okay until Jeph Loeb apologizes.

This is so true. I hate how they had Fury talk over it in Season 2

Got a problem with Cap?

I liked power man and iron fiat

Do they always hang together?

What are some comics of them?

He was great in the first season, but in the second half of the season, he was so omnipresent and hypercompetent that it got old fast.

I watch at least an episode a month still. I can go back to it over and over again. So yes. Even season two was great until the back half

Thor losing his powers has always been a great story in the comics so that part worked well. Tony and steve, not so much. A god becoming a man, good story. A man becoming...an incompetent man not so much

That scene where the vision increasing his mass while entering the atmosphere, and craters Thor into the ground will never leave my mind.

I occasionally still look through the concept art gallery for season 3. Depresses me every time knowing what we'll never see.

God damn those look like amazing episodes.

I think that was just the characters taking turns. In season 1, Thor was the focus of the finale, even though the others contributed. The major enemies were Asgardian. Season 2 was Cap's turn, they just fucked up the ending and everything got rushed and fucked up.

They even had Rom in line for an episode appearance. Too bad that'll never happen again in anything Marvel now that he's with IDW.

>Cap is Johnny Storm
>Two characters Evans played

Kek

ROM THE MOTHERFUCKING SPACE KNIGHT.

JESUS CHRIST

They had to axe the song because the singer got accused of sexual assault as I recall

i really like how Cap and the wasp looks
>spaceknights and more x-men
why did 90's x-men got a comic follow up but not this?

Because they don't want people to care about this show now that they have their own inhouse show, Avengers Assemble.

On the plus side, there was an all ages comic that ran during the shows second season with original stories.

THE WORLD'S ABOUT TO BREAK

is it good?

i keep wondering whats up with that
the space knights and their menagerie have been a part of Marvel for a long time even of ROM hasn't

...

...

Yes

>copy jlu

I am totally fine with that. Both need to step up their animation game. I need me some action cartoons that don't suck!

It's a homage to the scene in the John Byrne era Avengers where the team is getting thrashed by Count Nefaria who has essentially Superman powers, and Vision does the same thing to him.

I felt like that about the Spectacular Spider-man theme as well. Hated it at first then I had the mp3 on my phone

The other Space Knights, Galador, the Dire Wraiths and basically everyhing about Rom that isn't the look or name were basically created by Marvel and not connected to the toy IP rights at all.

>m.imgur.com/a/oBnjw
Makes me hate Assemble even more, holy shit.

neat

>Iron Fiat

Probably one of the best moments was Hulk vs Gravitron, slowly crawling out of that crater, basically saying fuck gravity

Iron Fist's OG run - Marvel Premiere 15-25, Iron Fist 1-15 (collected in Iron Fist: Epic Collection)
Luke Cage's OG run, 1-47 (collected into OOP Essential volumes)
Their first team-up occurs in Luke Cage's run, issues 48,49, then it becomes Power Man and Iron Fist #50-125, issues 48-90 being collected in two epic collections so far.
Also read Immortal Iron Fist if you want some more modern comics.

Series had best Wasp, how can MCU Hope even compare?

His word is law

Why'd he have to do that to Thor again?

This cartoon > capeshit

>I occasionally still look through the concept art gallery for season 3

It's just What If? art by one of the artists. Not an actual concept for season three. The showrunners were fired mid-season two.

>It really shits the bed in the second half of the second season, though.
L O E B ! ! !

That isn't concept art, that was the artist fucking around with wild additions. None of that was officially planned.

This

First season is horrible except the couple of Dr. Doom episodes and the Hyperion episode which were decent. Season 2 is bad except for the Squadron Supreme episodes which are actually pretty good. Season 3 is mediocre except for the Thunderbolts/Zemo/Masters of Evil episodes which are great.

>EMH Jan

EMH S1
EMH S2 pre-Loeb

Power Gap

Assemble Thunderbolts arc
EMH post Loeb

Power Gap

Rest of Assemble

Very enjoyable even for someone who isn't into marvel.
S2 shit the bed at the end, but overall it was a great show that rivaled Justice League
If the movies didn't mess with everything I would have loved to see a continuation like JLU

My favorite episode was "and then along came a spider" what are yours?

Jessica Drew and Anya are fans of the show?
>you will never have a lazy sunday cuddling with them watching comfy cartoons
Why live

Don't worry MCU hope is going to fucking cute

How to steal an ant man. I'm a pymfag and the show got him right. A shame there wasnt more yellow jacket

>what can you do?
>nothing, its going to explode.
>what do we do?
>nothing
>3
>2
Pym shrinks bomb to nothing
>you could have done that at any time?
>yeah but that look on your face

Or whatever that last line was. Perfect yellow jacket

>bacon xD

>we will never hear this episode with Keaton's original recordings

legit heartbreaking

That first episode with Graviton was pretty much perfect

>that Hulk entrance

Which order does Sup Forums prefer to watch it? Character origins first or graviton?

I orefer origins first

I ain't a waifu fag, but EMH Wasp was top tier waifu material

This show could've taken on JL/JLU with enough seasons.

I think it was better. The no drawing inner ears triggers me so bad on JL that is losses a lot of point on that. I also found the combat better in EMH

I WANT IT
I WANT IT SO MUCH IT FUCKING HURTS

...

Best Pym we will ever see

...

>yeah, we're the avengers. I'm Captain America and my friednd in the pajamas here is Thor.

Isn't Kamala's ringtone the theme song as well?

Still better than Avengers Assemble. Wasn't there an episode where they had scenes from EMH. I still love the Wasp in this show.

Just watched it. It's pretty middling with some Fair episodes, and rushes through its plot development like crazy. It's the best Marvel cartoon that isn't X-Men, though, but that's not saying much.

They're together more often than they aren't.

Hahahaha....no.

/r/ing that gif/webm about pym particles, you know the one

JLU never quite got WW or GL lore right and misused everybody's villains except Bruce and Clark's.

EMH hit all the marks all the fuckin' time.
