Garfield
A long time ago, but too long to remember and compare. It needs to be fresh. I'll get to it soon.
1. Burn After Reading
2. No Country for Old Men
3. Miller's Crossing
4. Barton Fink
5. O Brother, Where Art Thou?
Fargo and Inside Llewyn Davis are two of my favorites
Not their best, but Inside Llewyn Davis never gets the attention it deserves
>Big Lebowski > No Country for Old Men > Fargo > Inside Llewyn Davis > Hail Caesar! > A Serious Man > Barton Fink > the rest
Fargo, it takes the humor and whimsy from The big Lebowski and gritty dark action from No Country and combines them into one, even though it preceded both. It also has one of the best strong female protagonists of all time without resort to muh feminism.
everything is pretty much a masterpiece
except for
hail caesar! 7/10
Burn After reading 8/10
ladykillers 7/10
inside llewyn davis 8.5/10
Intolerable cruelty is the only one I haven't seen, and it's not really a priority
I had erased ladykillers from my memory
Are they proud of that piece of trash?
Inside Llewyn Davis, The Man Who Wasn't There and Barton Fink are their best films, followed closely by Fargo.
Hail Caesar! was great. Film of the year when it came out desu, but it was a pretty weak year.
the one that feels jewish
Miller's Crossing or Barton Fink
1. Miller's Crossing
2. Fargo
3. A Serious Man
4. Inside Llewyn Davis
5. No Country For Old men

Every single one of those films is an 8.5 or above though

Is this actually worth watching? I always hear that it's terrible. And I'm not exaggerating - I don't mean "disappointing".
I watched it the other day and found it a strong 7. I don't understand why it got such hate. It's Coen as fuck. Was it just because the Wayans brother was in it?
One of my favorite Tom Hanks performances, also.
