Gee, Heathcliff has been acting like a little bitch recently.

...

...

SAME AS IT EVER WAS

...

Damn, that Border Collie has some serious moves.

...

Is this an edit? It's actually a joke.

Heathcliff? More like Bitchcliff

Heathcliff is

>Heathjesus died for our sins

...

>two sets of 3 baseball bats flying off in close succession while a cask of lemonade is flipped and Heathcliff is waving his arms circularly in the air, with no weight of motion suggesting that he performed any of those actions
Did Heathcliff perform Za Warudo?

>not Heathchrist
ONE
JOB

oops

Mein seids!

...

I just saw CW m8s...it's the only film I've ever fallen asleep during and walked out of. I'm counting children's films that I've seen on airplane screens here. Just absolute flat affect garbage. Is there something wrong with me?

I mean, you're a Heacliff enthusiast.
Do you really need to ask?

...

So why did the guy who does Heathcliff not sue the fuck out of Jim Davis?

I don't know if "hey that cat is orange and likes food" is much of a case.

true

I really made an effort to give capeshit a try, but it was just a Transformers kind of awful.

They are remarkably similar in concept, to the point where a casual reader may even confuse the two.

I'm speaking only as somebody in the vidya industry, but it's almost impossible to bring a lawsuit against somebody for IP violation if they make even minor changes to the product. It has to be extremely explicit. That's why people can make a good living off of making reskins of games like solitaire and bejeweled without changing the mechanics.

...

>They are remarkably similar in concept
Not really. Heathcliff is as similar to Marmaduke as to Garfield.
The titular characters don't have the same personality or similar supporting casts, they don't use the same type of "humor", hell they don't even have the same format.
Just fat orange cats.

That's more or less correct of other IPs too. And thank fuck for that otherwise everyone who makes a cartoon with a mouse would get fucked sideways by Disney.

what the fuck am I reading

...

Yeah, it protects artists who are less commercially successful from getting screwed by people who rip off their designs as well.

Heathcliff on 9/11/02

>crossover between "cow tools" and heathcliff

Truly a duel of Titans.

This looks to be about a millimeter more coherent than the randomly generated strips.

Babyfur pandering?

>1,024
Huh?

...

>not the .gif
Not sure why I thought the dog was the one throwing the snowballs when I made this a few months ago, I think his pile of premade balls threw me off.

reminds me of that snowball fight episode on spongebob

Source? Because this is art.

1029 actually.

That's not an even number.

Now I'm confused.

That just makes it even more hilarious through sheer absurdity. The way it unintentionally subverts expectations makes it look like a Looney Tunes gag.

(2016/2) + (4*4) = 1029
2016 / (2+ (4*4)) = 112

I have no idea where you got 1024 from.

>that first answer
Are you blind?

Also:
>can't into PEMDAS

What the fuck?
current year / 2 + (4*4)
(2016 / 2) + (4*4)
1008 + 16
1024

Is this the fault of the American education system?

Holy shit for some reason my brain went 16/2 = 13. What the fuck.
>can't into PEMDAS
Well obviously I can or I wouldn't have thought it was 1029.

I'm not American so possibly.
Most likely weed though.

>not using heathcliff reactions in /heathcliff/

That bib kind of looks like me.

I don't think I understand Heathcliff

Gallagher likes to have the occasional joke to keep you on your toes. That way, you start thinking "wait, what if there ARE jokes in all these and I'm just not noticing them" causing you to spend more time trying to figure out what those jokes are in the ones you don't get.

Heathcliff is genius like that.

Heathcliff

The best part about this and every other instance of Heathcliff comics that are extremely similar is that every single time they're completely redrawn. You'd think they're such similar scenes because they're just copy-pasted, as most webcomic or capeshit hacks would do, but nope. Completely redrawn by hand every time. I've once gone through and checked every instance of "Heathcliff whirlwind fights" trying to find Gallagher slipping up and just copy-pasting it one of the times, and yet every single one is unique despite so little variance.

Never doubt Gallagher's respect and commitment to the craft. The man is a true professional.

Give it time.

this is too close to standard Sup Forums humor to be worthy of Heatchliff threads
