Is there anything that you would actually WANT to see get remade/rebooted/prequeled/sequeled/etc?

Other urls found in this thread:
The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings animated movies
No Peter Jackson involvement. I don't want any comic relief Gimlis or marijuana pipeweed. Just faithful, straightforward animated adaptations of the novels.
Heat prequel
The Neverending Story.
None. Today's hollywood is so awful it ruins literally anything it touches.

Just stuff that's already being done but won't be out for years (Mad Max, The Stand)
Maybe a sequel to the remake of Red Dawn if it's done correctly.
Terminator as well cause I've always loved those movies (even the bad ones)
I kinda want a big-budget remake of Cannibal! The Musical done by Trey Parker "and Matt Stone"
A Team America: World Police sequel (done by Matt and Trey of course) I could definitely get behind.
A new Miami Vice HBO series. Limited to three - ten episode - seasons with one overarching story arc in the twilight of the 1980s as police resources dwindle and drug smugglers become more and more ruthless. Brad Pitt as an older Crocket, John Boyega as a naive and often conflicted Tubbs. Mann as EP, episodes directed by Denis Villeneuve, Cary Joji Fukunaga, and the Coen brothers. Episodes written by Mann and Coens.
Goonies sequel with the kids of the original characters. Got to have Sloth tho, gotta have Sloth.
Monster Squad as a Netflix series would be awesome. Especially if handled similar to Stranger Things.
Inception sequel or prequel
basically anything as long as jews aren't involved
I wouldn't mind a good remake of Bonnie and Clyde
Tomb Raider 2
Ed Edd and Eddy live action ala Trailer Park Boys
I'd like to see a decent remake made to this movie. Mostly because I liked the simple premise and I feel there's a good action/thriller you could probably get out of it.
A TV adaption of K19: The Widowmaker
That would be amazing in the current climate, 10/10 suggestion
Kentucky Fried Movie
High Plains Drifter
The Princess and the Warrior
Heavy Metal Parking Lot
Dave
shitty movies that had potential
Even full cgi?
Nightbreed
AssCreed but actually done right. All the producers had to do was make a period action movie for events that never get big screen recognition and they STILL fucked it up somehow.
I'd like to see pic related re-done by someone who isn't Stephen King on cocaine. It's an interesting story with some cool visuals, and while I like the movie, it definitely drags a lot in the middle as has some terrible, annoying, useless characters.
Crank
I liked the Goonies idea.
I wish a Highlander remake.
deepest lore and a good pick
A CIA sequel
I want an Event Horizon but on a lot grander scale. I rewatched it a few nights ago and remembered how narrow it was. I don't think YouKnowWho would allow a space horror/thriller to compete with his though.
Denis Villeneuve Heat prequel would be fucking GOAT.
fully no. the main cast would need to be real people to offset the otherworldly feeling of the fantasy world. especially bastian. atreyu could get away with being CGI but really you'd want the characters to be people in prosthetics and the nothing, rockbiter and all the other creatures atreyu encounters to be CGI.
Full Metal Alchemist just to shitpost on Sup Forums about it
my life
This: Some Magnum P.I. shit would be awesome too.
I'd also love The Transporter to get a not shit remake.
i feel like the premise behind Waterworld could yield some solid movies if rebooted and done well
Starship Troopers remake, incl. sequels. Please Hollywood.
>Done well
Are you implying Waterworld wasn't done well in the first place
i was implying the majority of movies made today aren't done well
The last time I visited Universal Studios, I watched the Waterworld show three times and the amazing animals show once then left the park and that's all I did.
Star Wars prequels. No-where to go but up.
I concur with this. Event horizon leaves the viewer wanting in the whole cosmic horror department.
Resident Evil
Mann said it is coming as a novel
Matrix prequel about the war between humans & machines which was always the most interesting part of the setting anyway
King Arthur (2004) with the same cast, but a good, faithful story this time
The Dungeons and Dragons cartoon done in live-action written and directed by Chris Miller and Phil Lord in the same way they did 21 Jump Street. With the characters from the 80s show too. And rated R. And they're played by actual teenagers/kids.
Yes I thought of it tonight, with any luck you'll be seeing it on the silver screen within your lifetime
Rogue One remade into what it was supposed to be. The start to the Dark Forces series.
Spiderman
Well there already is an animated The Hobbit
No, stop regurgitating shit.
Stargate, but only within the series continuity.
I honestly think a good Indiana Jones reboot is possible. There is a lacking adventure series like it that is around now
La Haine
Labyrinth. I think they announced that there would be a remake a few months after Bowie died
so now they just beat up the jew and call it a day?
Um, ew? Don't reply to me sweetie
