One of the worst Bond movies. This movie offers nothing but over the top action. It is just so bland. Sure the soundtrack is great but this is definitely Brosnan's worst.
Say what you will about Die Another Day but that had a strong first act.
What makes Casino Royale so good is that it isn't action focused, neither is Spectre.
I find it funny how Brosnan said that Spectre to him felt too long as a Bond film. What the fuck is his problem? That movie to me actually felt kind of short. Movie needed way more Blofeld and it was very fast paced. Spectre to me is one of my favorite Bond films because it blends the perfect amount of humor, seriousness and there is hardly much action.
Like QoS, Tomorrow Never Dies is one of the worst Bond movies for being over the top action and pretty boring when you try to rewatch it.
Pierce Brosnan may have said in an interview that Spectre didn't feel like a Bond movie (so absurd to hear this when it clearly has everything that makes Bond apart from say Blofeld being Bond's long lost brother) whilst Tomorrow Never Dies is CLEARLY not a Bond movie.
GoldenEye of course is Brosnan's best. A shame none of his other movies were as good as that one. Brosnan is right though: his Bond should have been more dark and not cheesy.
>Explain why Spectre is god tier in 100 words or less It combines the perfect pace of good drama with good small comedic moments that are not too cheesy like the Brosnan ones are.
It has a 10/10 opening and the movie is very enjoyable as you watch Bond slowly uncover the true identity of Spectre and how the villains from the previous movies are all connected to this organization.
It is Craig's best Bond film right after Casino Royale to me. He is just so great in this movie and truly resembles Bond.
I loved the scenes at Blofeld's base. The location was very Bond like and I like how Bond arrives at the base in a vehicle that looks just like one of the 60's cars in Goldfinger.
I did really feel for Mr White when he took his wife and the scene when his daughter stumbles across her father's secret hide out room where he has pictures of her on the wall really made me feel the same emotion she did mourning his passing.
Spectre is truly a great Bond film and I hope Craig and Blofeld return for a sequel.

Also because the title is a typo
Jose Lewis
dat sword fighting scene though. You can't deny it was fucking exhilarating.

There are people on here right now who think Quantum of Solace is a decent movie
Lucas Cook
Tommorow Never Dies is better than the world is not enough and die another day (literal dog shit). Kill yourself dude. That BMW car chase thing is the best in the series.
Easton Powell
michelle yeoh tho

>perfect pace of good drama with good small comedic moments that are not too cheesy like the Brosnan ones are. Such as a shitty car chase with zero tension, an egregious amount of time with Bond spent fucking some guy's dead wife which has little to no impact on the story >It has a 10/10 opening Where Bond causes mass destruction in a civilian populated area with zero ramifications >the true identity of Spectre and how the villains from the previous movies are all connected to this organization Where Blofeld mentions the other organizations with one or two lines which don't connect at all, then holds up pictures of Bond's dead girlfriend in his secret base like a Saturday morning cartoon villain >I loved the scenes at Blofeld's base Where Bond gets drilled into the ear and goes on to escape without any physical injuries, in a scene with zero tension or ramifications >Spectre is truly a great Bond film No!
Brayden Richardson
did any1 notice Gerard Butler ?
he is in TND
1.Goldeneye 2.Tnd 3.Twine 4.Dad
Jeremiah Butler
Oh yeah he's on the Royal Navy ship, the Devonshire or whatever
Blake Edwards
>Die Another Day was still worse.
No. DAD was entertaining in its own weird way. TND is just boring and eveyrbody agrees Goldeneye is the best Brosnan movie and the Bond games in general are better than all the movies
Dominic Edwards
I sincerely doubt that.
Luke Jackson
he dies
Grayson Martinez
all the craig films are fucking shit
Julian Jenkins
>Goldeneye is the best Brosnan movie and the Bond games in general are better than all the movies
absolutely incredible post
Nightfire is the greatest thing to ever come out of the Bond brand
Isaiah Sanders
All the action scenes in spectre had to be cut out to make room for the gilf porn scenes.
Parker Jones
>What makes Casino Royale so good is that it isn't action focused No, it's poker focused.
Elijah Russell
Tomorrow Never Dies is indeed one of the worst, a halfassed copy-paste of The Spy Who Loved Me with nothing going for it except one cool scene with a remote control car in a parking garage.
Die Another Day is far more enjoyable, even as retarded as it is. GoldenEye is great, and TWINE is one of the most underrated films in the series. It's awesome tbqh
Lucas Ramirez
What's worse is that it's probably the dumbest poker scene ever filmed, dat last hand
Matthew Williams
And the poker playing was absolutely ridiculous, only showing us hands where the choices were obvious and of course the last hand is won with a straight flush while everyone else also has a big hand.
Not to mention the movie goes on for half an hour more when you think it's over with Bond's obsession over some random girl he fucked for a couple of weeks that betrays him in the end, then he keeps moaning about it for two more movies.
Seriously, who are the people who love this movie?
Dominic Barnes
goldeneye twine tnd casino spectre quntum home alone
Blake Bennett
I fucking love James Bond. I've re-watched all of the movies multiple times.
Spectre is fucking shit, even worse than QoS
Easton Bell
no need to spoiler text that
you can say the same thing about Star Wars
the Star Wars series makes more sense if you think of it as a great idea for a video game, but they didn't have the technology in 1977. so instead they filmed a bunch of scenes to keep record of the idea. then in 1994 they made Dark Forces and fully realized the concepts that the movie introduced.
