Enemy of the State / Agent of Shield

The best Mark Millar comic of them all.

A pretty good John Romita Jr comic

Come Along.

Starting it off with the really obvious reference.

They want him to kill stuff

If I remember correctly, the "Enemy of the State" storyline is actually based on an old plot outline Chris Claremont wrote back in the late 1980s or thereabouts, the end point of which was he would either die or leave the X-Men. I wish I could remember where I first read this bit of trivia. I think it might have been on a German X-Men fansite interview with Claremont several years back.

Anybody else recall reading something about this, or am I just imagining/misremembering things?

Keep it up op
this is a good read so far

All that title means to me is a pretty good Tony Scott movie.

I know Claremont and Cockrum to get rid of him. The moment Len Wein left for DC they started planning it since Wein as an editor wanted his creation to be in the comic

But for some reason Byrne really like the character, so when he became the artist Wolverine became more important.

Nerd rage incoming

Well not right away.

Then he got thrown through a Building by the Hellfire club and one panel and one issue later and he was a phenom
