After this begins the Trial of the Flash, a storyline which drags on for the next two years or so, killing the sales for the book. Crisis happens right afterwards.
I will skip the first half or so of the trial and move on to the final year because a certain Yellow Speedster may make an appearance.

Here's some backstory I should first mention:
In the time between Barry and Iris' wedding and Iris' eventual death, they learned a shocking secret: Iris West was actually from the 30th century. Her parents (the Russells) sent her back in time as a baby in order to protect her from a war. She was then adopted by Professor Ira West. I mention this now because it will come up again and again.
