Superwank. It's shit.

It's a very old school adventure story that came out at a time when that sort of stuff was ignore. But it's solid as hell and it's got a good amount of continuity porn which I love

Yes, it was pretty damn good

Yes but Marvelfags are assblasted because Superman beat Thor. Even though Hawkeye saved the day.

>Something happens!
>Let's fight!
>It's a misunderstanding!
>Let's team up!

>butthurt Thor fag spotted

Hal was the best part of it. It was pretty great generally too.

Fuck yeah it was. The amount of shit that could have easily gone wrong with a crossover of that magnitude and that many characters is staggering, and that Busiek was able to keep everyone's characterization consistent and still write a good story is fucking amazing.

Why is Tony staring off in a random direction, and why is Bruce posing?

Is Spider-Man in it?

This, plus Perez handling so many characters looked fantastic

Spider-Man hadn't been an Avenger at this point so no

It's considered GOAT-tier by most fans who read & liked comics before the Bendis/Jemas/Joey Q years & complete capefag shit by most who came in after so your mileage will vary.

How else could it go?

He was a Reserve Avenger before that so I guess it sort of counts. He may have had a cameo in a couple of panels here and there.

It's by far and away the best DC/Marvel crossover ever made and does both universes a lot of justice.

Check it out, it's a great, fun read. Should be mandatory capeshit for anyone looking to get into the Big 2.

Anyone else think this was a hge waste of potential?

>no deadpool/deathstroke
>no iron man/batman
>no nova corps/green lanterns
>no flash/quicksilver

Instead we got stupid shit like Batman/Wolverine and Deathstroke/Daredevil. Like, what the fuck?

Wasn't this written way back in the 90's, when Deadpool wasn't even as popular as he was later even in the early 00's?

I think the idea is interesting and worth revisiting. Just had an idea, since the Marvel Multiverse and the DC Multiverse are within the same Mega-Multiverse (or whatever it is these days), the Amalgam Universe should have special status as the link between the two. And they should reboot it so that the amalgams make more sense.

Give that shit to Grant Morrison. Shit writes itself.

Doesn't Morrison have a grudge against Marvel cos of how they treated him when he was working on the X-books?

Also I thought he said everything he needed to say about superhero universes with Multiversity.

Pretty sure they matched stuff up based on similarity and popularity

Nobody cared about Deadpool or the Nova Corps in the early 90s

>no deadpool
Your meme character only became relevant with the rise of the milennials. We didn't care about his shit back then.

>Doesn't Morrison have a grudge against Marvel cos of how they treated him when he was working on the X-books?
Oh right, forgot about that.

>Also I thought he said everything he needed to say about superhero universes with Multiversity.
Did he? He's making The Multiversity Too though.

I remember reading some very early Superman comics and some Tintin comics fairly close together and thinking those guys should team up. One was an adult who acted liked a child by just going and beating up whoever was being bad and the other was a child who acted like an adult and his focus was on exposing crooks with his writing.

Dream crossover thread?

Multiversity Too? I hadnt heard anything like that. Source?

and isn't that what we wanted? It has the Avengers and Justice League fighting as well as them teaming up. It's not like you jumped into this expecting lasting character development considering that there's a very slim chance that this event will ever be referenced again.

Small Cameo

>what is google

Unless it's obscure porn or a really dated article you can literally just google it. Fuck here's the front page result with an interview with Morrison and that Nigress in DC's Youtube Channel

depends on who owns the rights. Though that doesn't seem that far fetched. DC does crossovers all the time, we literally just had an actual in-continuity Batman/TMNT Crossover (It's canon)

>DC does crossovers all the time, we literally just had an actual in-continuity Batman/TMNT Crossover (It's canon)
And a Star Trek/Green Lantern crossover although that one can't be canon

Convergence says it is. everything is canon.
