post 'em

Can I rate the last 5 cape movies instead? I haven't read any comics.

>Batman vs Superman
8/10, despite it's flaws, it really gives us an epic Batman and epic Superman.
>Civil War
4/10, while cool, the comics story was much better and covered better themes. The movie feels small, only like 8 heroes, but in the comic story there was so many.
>Man of Steel
9/10, made me give a shit about Superman finally. Final fights graphics were bad, but overall pretty good.
>Deadpool
5/10, while funny, felt way off base of what Deadpool is in the comics. Romance story line is really stupid, he should be in love with Death like in the comics, villains were all uninteresting OCs.
>Ant-man
2/10, too much quip humor. Comics Pym is way cooler, should have been about Hank Pym and made him like int he comics. No one cares about Scott except for his daughter, and they fucked up by making her too young, so her becoming Stature is pretty unlikely...for now.

Found the pleb.

You can't be serious.

>I haven't read any comics.

Op said comics, not movies, Sup Forums.

wow you fell for the bait

I agree 100% with you except for ant man. Even if it is bait.

>I haven't read any comics
>the comic story is so much better
>felt way off base of what deadpool is in the comics

This is poor b8 but still got people biting

...

>comics civil war is better than MCU civil war

Not enough people in the movie taking retard pills up to the standard they were in the comic?

No one did. It was a pretty ridiculous bait.

I don't browse this board much, but are there people who post here that are honestly stupid enough to think that BvS is better than Civil War, or are you a contrarian?

>The Question Volume 2: Poisoned Ground
7/10, very enjoyable, especially for 80's comics. Really getting into this character.

>Batman: The Black Mirror
9/10, might be among my favorite Batman stories ever, barring Dick Grayson. I can now see why everyone is obsessed with Scott Snyder, art was fantastic too.

>Hawkeye Volume 2: Little Hits
7/10, also very enjoyable. It's Fraction having fun, so I dig it. Aja's art is great.

>Moon Knight: From the Dead
4/10, wasn't a fan. Really insubstantial. Not a big fan of one-and-dones, and there was barely any cohesion between them. Just MK going places and kicking ass with no problem or conflict at all. Really disappointing for an Ellis book.

>Deadly Class Volume 3
9/10, still my favorite series Image has going right now. Love the punk rock aesthetic, and Remender is at his best.

which spiderman 2099, the new one or the old school one?

as far as myself?
Tokyo Ghost-9/10 (reread)
American Vampire-9/10 (reread)
Southern Bastards-8/10
Deadly Class-7/10
Judge Dredd vs Aliens-8/10 (was mucho fun)

I love remender, but I really felt like deadly class is one of his weaker titles (I know that is an unpopular opinion).

Like I appreciate what he is doing, but I don't really think it is his best story desu senpai.

A lot of the minor characters felt like they took a weirdly disproportionate time to be developed or take the spot light and as a result it kind of feels disjointed. Like I dig the book is about the main characters but shabnam and victor didnt feel fleshed out enough when they became central to the plot.

I also felt like the time jumps were a bit jarring as well at time (not always). Lastly, I honestly felt like there would be more time pent observing the kids actually study how to assassinate kids and it might play that up a little, but we really haven't seen shit of it so far.

In saying all of that though I am enjoying where the story is currently heading and I think it has a ton of potential.

>2 issues of Usagi Yojimbo-6/10 kinda lame plot, and Kitsune and Chizu don't really interact very well despite Stans attempts to make them hate kinda funny
>Judge Dredd- Kleggstory-7/10. Not that into Dredd, but I"m glad I now know about the Klegs. The Slicey! The Dicey! The All-Purposes Spicy!
>Judge Dredd- 6/10 The weird community with unmoderated speech, discussion and no laws was typical Hab-block community that fit perfectly in the Dredd world, but it didn't really move forward in plot very well at all. The whole community was tacky anyways
>East of West-8/10 Shit is hype

>A lot of the minor characters felt like they took a weirdly disproportionate time to be developed or take the spot light and as a result it kind of feels disjointed.
I know exactly what you mean, and I feel like this is because Remender has plans to kill most of them off when the time is right, and as you said, Marcus is the priority.

well I did a Darwyn binge this weekend.

Catwoman volume 1 by Brubaker and Cooke
solid 8.5/10, really interesting read. Loved the clayface interpretation, almost more then I loved the new catwoman.

Solo, by Darwyn Cooke
that was a 9.5/10 and the only reason I'm not giving it a 10/10 is that there were certain story threads I liked more then others and wished had stayed.
New Frontiers-
that's a 10/10 to me. that was mindblowing and cool. I loved the big bad, I loved how many ways it felt like new origins stories for old characters, I absolutely adored the bit of John Henry we saw and his story arc, I loved every bit of it.
Twilight Children.
That was a 6/10. the art kept it from being a 3 or 4 out of 10. the ending wasn't that enjoyable, I could give so much less of a shit about the town drama, and the hook didn't hook me. about the only reason I read it was because it was Darwyn's work.

Minutemen, the before watchmen book
This was a really okay 7.5/10 to 8/10 stuck in a 10/10 world. I enjoyed it, but only because I wasn't measuring it against watchmen.

>Conan the Cimmerian
9/10
I wasn't expecting such an amazing story, but danm, I love the character of Conan now.

>Batman: The dark knight return
7/10
>Batman year one
6/10
Sup Forums said that Miller is good, so I give it a chance and I was satisfied.
I liked Carrie and the son's of Batman.

>Judge Dredd cases 1-4
9/10
He is the law.

>Usagi Yojimbo
10/10
Best ronin.
Best rabbit.

I reckon once this current arc is over and the status quo is restored that they will probably focus on these guys a little better and maybe have them settle in as longer term/more fleshed villains perhaps? that is provided they don't all fucking die

>people responding to bait

>Chateau des Etoiles

9/10 Glorious artwork and story make up for often hilariously bad dialogues.

>Chevalier d'Eon

7/10 Pretty art and CUTEST trap plus surprisingly historically accurate.

>The Goon (TPB 7&8)
Actually has story/10

>Incognito

7/10 Surprisingly good story, surprisingly good art for a comic book and there are not enough Wold Newton like stories.

>Invisible Border by Schuiten & Peeters
9/10 GORGEOUS, Inventive and well written it is a shame that they have stopped with Cites Obsucres.

I could've sworn that was Milo dressed as the Joker

8.5/10

It was a good week.

>Superman Birthright
Wonderful, I was one of the guys who thought the character boring but decided to give him a chance, glad I did. It's a story that warms the heart and really shows you the world of Superman, including who he is and what he struggles with. I absolutely love the Clark Kent in this, him being left alone in the restaurant sold me on the character.

>Legend of Wonder Woman (1-15)
It's a cute building up of Wonder Woman but isn't overly engaging. As a new WW fan it's interesting to see a different origin as I was introduced to the character in New 52

>Aquaman: Sword of Atlantis (1-3)
The story is quite intriguing but the dialogue can get frustrating. I hate the art, so damn dark and Arthur looks like a meth addict. If this ends well I will be glad it's on my shelf.

>Flash new 52 #51
Absolute trash in every way shape and form. I wouldn't recommend this run to my worst enemy. The fact that this is being published by DC is embarrassing,

>Aquaman new 52 #51
I'm liking Abnett's work so far. The art makes Arthur look like he has down syndrome but the characterisations for the key players seems spot on. I have high hopes for rebirth.

Some tldr ratings.

>Superman Birthright
9/10 - villain was a touch underwhelming, would have preferred the stakes higher.
>Legend of Wonder Woman
7/10 - enjoyable even though I'm not in the target audience
>Aquaman Sword of Atlantis
6/10 - I'm interested, but need to read more
>Flash new 52
0/10 - There is nothing redeemable
>Aquaman new 52
8/19 - I'm really enjoying it. New 52 Aquaman has been my go to comfy/fun read, this continues to deliver imo.

>Captain America - Sam Wilson #9
I FUCKING HATE THIS GOD DAMN LIBERAL BULLSHIT SO FUCKING MUCH.
>MARIA HILL DID NOTHING WRONG!

2.) The badass menacing re design for reverse Flash.

>super foes of spiderman
>7/10
dude, what is wrong with you?

It was a good laugh and actually made care about some C-D list bad guys but I was kind of bored during parts of it.

>Vision
Something i always want a robot comic would be, not some "robot bad"
9/10
>Grayson
Have potential, but too much beefcake. Wish their introduce more Wilstorm character
7/10
>Deadpool

4/10
>Deadpool and Spiderman

6/10

10/10

>Standoff - 8/10
>Captain America Sam Wilson - 6.5/10
>Swamp Thing - 6/10
>All-New, All-Different Avengers - 6/10
>Scarlet Witch - 5/10

Agree with Grayson. The constant beefcake and romance really threw me off, it was basically softcore porn. I would be okay with it if it wasn't so forced, they didn't make it subtle at all. The writing went downwards and was a huge lackluster in volume 2.

Admittedly some of the filler issues towards the middle are pretty meh.

>Superior Foes of Spiderman
10/10. I genuinely think this is the greatest thing that marvel has ever put out, it's the funniest comic I've ever read and I'm a massive sucker for likeable villains.

>Books of Doom
8/10. Probably his best origin story. I genuinely think it would have been a all time fav if there was more of an interaction with Reed Richards the whole way through.

>The immortal Iron fist
7/10. The art gets real shit towards the end but I kinda dig dumb martial arts stuff. Also magic pistols.

>Koma
8/10. Loved every god damn second up until the ending.

>Crossing midnight
8/10. Loved every god damn minute up until the final issue. Holy shit, how badly did they fuck up a intimate story about a brother and sister. Finishing it off with a full scale war out of nowhere, and the brother wearing mystical armor to fight people.

>liberal
let me stop you right there

Wait, Maria finally went to jail? Good riddance, she caused way more shit than she solved.

>All Star Batman & Robin #3
Horrible, 2/10 because the art is good
>World War Hulk
a pretty stupid event in my opinion but it was entertaining enought 6/10
>All new Atom by gail simone
pretty good, i liked the weird relation between the atom and Giganta 7/10
>Avengers #1
It's surprisingly good, i thought i would hate it but it's pretty solid actually 8/10
>Nightwing #1
I liked it 8/10

yeah, look I'll concede that, there a few times where I felt it dragged a bit or was a bit filler heavy.

Different strokes for different folks I suppose.

Its sluggish, slow and the best part is the art, the twist was ok but still shock for shocks sake.
>Superman American Alien 1-5

Interesting enough tales, good art in every issue (Nick seems like the weaker one but that's just my opinion on his facial expressions)

>judges every Marvel movie based on its source material
>BvS & MoS failing to even get the characters from the source material correct is ignored

>Love & Rockets - Maggie The Mechanic TPB
4/10 This is the earliest work from Jaime and it's very bad in the beginning. The story is all over the place shifting between superhero/sci-fi geek shit and slice of life stuff. In the end of the collection, Jaime does find his style though, otherwise it would've been a 0/10. I always enjoyed Gilbert's stuff more.

>Michael Deforge - Big Kids
6/10 Not as good as Ant Colony or his shorter stories from Loose but still a nice little read. Not a fan of the tiny format though.

>The Humans volume 2
6/10 I really enjoyed the first volume but this concluding one turned the story into a dark and overly violent edge fest.I mean, isn't it supposed to be a comedy?

>Mardou - Sky in Stereo
8/10 Good shit about the drug scene in Manchester during the Madhester era (early-mid 90's).

>Terry LaBan - Eno and Plum (a Cud Comics collection)
8/10 Not much to say about this, classic LaBan slacker/grunge stories from the early to mid 90's.

Vision #7 - Really good for a filler issue. It goes over the past lives of Vision with a focus on his relationship with Wanda, 8/10

Moon Knight #2 - Much the same as the first issue. Good build up to when the shit does hit the fan, 6/10

New Suicide Squad #20 - Terrible series until #17 when the new creative team took over. Love the art. Good enough violent story, 7/10

Invincible Iron Man #9 - Fuck you all, I like Benis. Interested to see where he's going with Doom. Great series so far, 7/10

Black Widow #3 - Love the art but there's not much writing going on. Get a bit of an insight into Widow's childhood which good for character building I guess, 5/10

You almost ruined the entire fucking thread.

Mignolaverse

10/10

here is your (You)

...

The Books of Magic (original Neil Gaiman miniseries) - Fantastic introduction to the magical side of the DC universe, though it's nothing really new to me. Always wanted to read it, so I just went ahead and downloaded it the other day. Fantastic art that set the mood all around, really inspired depictions of the past and future, great shit. 9/10

Amethyst, Princess of Gemworld - It was alright. Dialogue was stale and boring, but there was a certain charm there to it, like watching an old '80's action cartoon on a Saturday morning or reading one of those old dime store fantasy novels that you knew weren't anything special but satisfied you to an extent anyway. Or maybe like an old D&D game. Anyway, simplistic, childish fun and there were some cool concepts there. 6.5/10

Wonder Woman: Earth One - Best WW story ever, as far as I'm concerned. Fantastic art and typical Morrison craziness, though filtered through a feminist lens. The WW story I've been wanting to read forever now. 9/10

Sex Criminals - Didn't finish it, but I really liked what little I read of it. Great, unique concept, great art, fantastic characters. 8/10

Jungle Action featuring the Black Panther - Didn't finish it, but from what I've read, underrated as fuck. Great, fantastic art that shows what a lot of old school artists were capable of, not to mention a very interesting plot and cast. 8.5/10

>World War Hulk 3/5

and some of the shit from latest DC WEEK+ stuff like Batman 052 and Green Lantern Corps. Most are just meh.

Kill yourself

>Howard the Duck - What the Duck TPB
6/10. Paper thin plots that seem to be built around jokes and puns more than anything. Zdarsky's brand of humour is too flat and will make for a very dated read in years to come. Quinone's art is sharp and well suited though.

>Solo - Darwyn Cooke
8/10. Excellent variety of stories and styles. I think my fave thing about it is the Slam Bradley story that bookends the short stories. Great balance of humour, personal and typical work from Cooke. The two-page funnies part felt kinda like filler but that's a minor complaint really.

>Love and Rockets - FCBD Sampler
7/10. Server as a reminder that I really need to get back into the series someday. The Jaime half that is, Gilbert's stuff sucks balls.

>Cry Havoc #4
7/10. A slow build but the three timeframes device ensures that it's building to somewhere great. Getting quite dense now but I haven't read the liner notes yet. Kelly's art is serviceable but pretty uninspired. Worrying that he got two others to ink at least half the issue for him.

>Island #7
Only read the Firebug story so far which seems really promising. Not really convinced of the setting just yet but looking forward to seeing how it expands. Great art from Christmas and the colourist really fucking blows it outta the water.

>Batman Endgame : 7/10
Too much left unanswered
>Batman Eternal : 4/10
Scott please kill yourself
>Daredevil Reborn: 8.5/10
Amazing. A fresh start. Enjoyed thoroughly
>Suicide Squad Vol. 1: 8/10
Quite enjoyable. Dragged in the middle but good
>Thor: God of Thunder : 9/10
Fucking amazing. One of the best Thor runs I have read

>DCYou Midnighter - 9/10
Near-perfect Midnighter solo.

>Batman And Robin Eternal - 5/10
I'm being generous.

>Planetary/Batman: Night On Earth - 9/10
Super delightful and a little poignant.

>Dickie - 6/10
Not my type of humor, but others might like it.

>Gotham Academy Vol. 1 - 8/10
Not really my taste, but very cute, funny book.

>East of West (reread)
So much better the second time around. Lots of little cues and character pieces and bouts of sweet dialogue that I feel like I missed
>JLA by Grant Morrison Vol. 2
The Rock of Ages storyline, plus the first Prometheus stuff and the WildCATS crossover. All of it was really trippy and bizarre, but what makes this run great imo is that its all high-concept heroics. Each page has something huge going on in it. Also the christopher priest story in here is a really good segue into the stuff after rock of ages
>Gotham Central Vol. 2 Jokers and Madmen
Not my favorite Gotham Central story, but still a really good one. Makes me miss 2000-2005 DC. They had a big sweet spot with a lot of their books
>Prophet Vol. 2
I think Brandon Graham is my favorite comics person right now. Dude's art is fantastic, and so are his sparse scripts that let artists flourish on the page. good stuff
>Warren Ellis Thunderbolts
Don't know why a lot of people on Sup Forums hate this. It's really good and for a 12 issue story it goes by rather quickly. Too many memorable moments for it to even be considered bad

The last 5 comics encompasses every comic I have ever read.

>Wonder Woman: Earth One
7/10, I liked the non-violence, but it just felt like issue number XY to me, would like to see more of this WW
>Vision
8/10, it's good, that's all I can say, nothing groundbreaking, but very good for what it is
>Grayson
8/10, same reason
>Scalped
9/10, only read the first couple issues, but I can tell I like it very much
>Rat God
5/10, I love Richard Corbens art, but this was not Lovecrafty at all; too parodistic, and the parody wasn't very good IMHO

>JLA: Tower of Babel
7/10, really intriguing story but Batman's everything was really infuriating. Which might very well have been the point but I'm not entirely sure if that is the case.

>Vision #7
9/10, very cool, I love this take on Vision and it's a story that really draws you in. Somewhat disappointed by the fact that the whole issue is a flashback, though it doesn't necessarily make it a bad one.

>New Frontier
7/10, nice take on the DC verse though it feels like the writing could have been a bit tighter at times.

>All-New X-Men #9
7/10, I initially hated this series because of the O5 overload but Evan is a top tier character and his story is much more interesting than whatever other story this book was telling a few issues ago.

>JLA by Grant Morrison #1-2
1/10, boring. It's not even "deep Morrison" or whatever, it was just a really boring story that didn't seem like it was leading anywhere so I dropped it and jumped straight to Tower of Babel instead.

Solo #5 - Darwyn Cooke's issue. Really lovely series of tales, with unique approaches to design. 9.5/10

Animal Man #5: The Coyote Gospel - The issue that got me into Grant Morrison's body of work. It presented a portrait of meta-storytelling which I found to be original and intriguing when I first read it, and it gets better for me at every read. 10/10

Daredevil: The Man without Fear - A fantastic origin story by Frank with wonderful art by JRJR, though, it doesn't match up to Born Again. 8/10

Understanding Comics - Scott McCloud's presentation of the art of comics is an interesting and joyous read which makes me appreciate comics more and more. 10/10

Batman: Odyssey - Yeah, that one. Batshit insane (pun intended) and frustrating to read. I'm surprised how Neal Adams considers it to be his best work. The art isn't bad, but even that can look off at times. 2/10

>Mike Grell's Green Arrow
Fantastic overall and one of the few times that being embarrassed by superheroics worked in it's favor. That said it started to decline around the 2/3 mark when Ollie told George Bush to fuck off. 9/10 leading up to that, 7/10 after and 8/10 overall.

>Cerebus the Aardvark - Cerebus
there's some good art and sword and sorcery stuff going on but it isn't as good as the next volume is supposed to be. 6/10.

>New Avengers (up to the current issue)
It's light and fun capeshit but the art isn't very good and it feels very decompressed
6/10

>Ultimates (up to the current)
The cosmic stuff can be interesting but there really isn't anything going on with most of the characters and the problems are solved with just a couple pages of exposition. Art is great. 7/10.

>Vision #7
This issue felt like filler. It's probably really important for any newer readers who aren't familiar with SW and Vision's relationship but spending an issue rehashing old Avengers comics right after a cliffhanger is lame no matter how well it's executed. 7.5/10

Delicious, delectable bait.

What's wrong with ASBAR's art? It's some of the best Jim Lee has ever done

user, you silly goose, you got us!

>Spider-Man: A Day in the Life
First time I ever read that story where Chameleon kills himself in front of Peter, it was fucking awesome. The other stories were chill too.

>The Tick FCBD
Pretty fucking sweet, the Tick never disappoints.

>Black Science Volume 3
This series continues to be cool as shit, I love the creature designs and Scalera's art here is among my favorites ever. I love Grant more with every issue, especially his recent interactions with Shawn/his kids. Can't wait for the next trade at the end of the month.

>Martian Manhunter Volume 1
Great art & monster design, Mr. Biscuits is charming as hell. Bummed it was a cliffhanger ending, makes me regret tradewaiting so much.

>Sex Criminals Volume 2
Halfway through right now. I love me some Matt Fraction, but this book is losing me fast. Zdarsky's art here is boring as sin. Probably won't be picking up #3.

>Skipping early Morrison JLA
Jesus man, do you hate fun? Those first arcs have some of my favorite JLA moments ever.

Miller's TDK - 7/10
Red Son - 8/10

I don't get it. People hate when GA is political but GA being hammily and overtly political as a character is literally what made him great, as it informed the rest of the character
>hot-headedness
>fucked-up relationship
etc/
his brand of left-leaning politics helped define the rest of the aspects of the character

>The Strange Talent of Luther Strode
Hotline Miami/10. The characters were just okay, but the concept and art rocked.

>Hellblazer volume 4
7/10. The stuff with the Family Man is amazing, but the rest is okay.

>Sandman volume 6
It's Sandman, what more needs to be said? Moon Man is on the cover though.

>Jack Staff #3
6/10. I'm liking it so far. Not much has happened, but the characters are interesting and the world is engaging.

>Incognito
8/10. Very pulp based, interesting plot, moody art and a cool idea driving it.

I love GA being political and I don't have any problems with the George Bush moment itself. The run just starts losing steam as Ollie takes his world tour and Jetpacks into the Space Needle.

I am not sure if I remember correctly.
I joined in on the New Frontier storytime, which was just fascinating on how it all tied togheter to push the boundaries of man no matter the cost, and through those sacrifices love prevails. Sounds cheesey, but in the context of the story as a whole it was a real heart-warming joy.
10/10. Perfect narrative, perfect art.

Prior to that I read the latest Abe Sapien and Hellboy in Hell. AS had a nice build up, but i was hoping the flashback and the present would have a conclusion togheter, naming Abe the onion godmonster, so the ending fell a bit flat. Meanwhile Hellboy in Hell is wrapping up nicely, keeping just enough mystery, and revealing just the right amount to keep your hopes up for a proper ending, but overall feels kinda like nothing has been happening for years.
8/10. Sucker for the Mignolaverse.

Prior to that, I read the Question storytime. Plays on cliches, nice zen stuff here and there. Truly an outstanding work of comicbook literature and art. Can't recommend it hard enough, even if it's sometime lackluster and tedious to wade through.
8/10.

I don't remember what I read as my fifth. I remember Baltimore, but that was so dull I can't even give it a proper review. Survivor's club is the same way.

I've been reading the Dune series. Read it. It's one of those once in a lifetime experiences.

>Nameless
7/10, I like space shit and H.P. Lovecraft shit but it was needlessly gory. A little less gore and it could be an 8 or 9
>Green Lantern: Rebirth
8/10. I have a huge GL mountain of books for the War of Light that I've been sitting on cause I'm missing 3 books so I decided to start. Pretty good and anything with Spectre in it gets me rock hard.
>The Flash by Grant Morrison and Mark Millar
7/10. I like Wally West and most of the stories were interesting but the crossover with Kyle and Connor was kind of boring and Impulse irritated me.
>I Hate Fairyland Volume 1
9/10. The cutesy art style mixed with gore and violence really adds to the story and I just loved everything about it, especially the ending where I thought it would be over and then it's a whole new story.
>Identity Crisis
10/10. Out of all the "crisis" stories this has to be my favorite and might be my favorite DC event besides Kingdom Come.

>Habibi
10/10, fantastic plotting, visuals, and overall comic-making all around. The use of symbolism and thematic elements just bring it all together even more.
>Swamp Thing: Season's End (the end of Soule's run)
9/10, one of the Big 2's greatest runs comes to an end and hits all the right notes. A great fantasy comic.
>Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire
8/10, although some of the battles made my eyes glaze over, this is a great story, and sadly one of the few things to miss from the EU.
>Saga: Book 5
7/10, it's a pity that there aren't many good fantasy comics out there, but Saga does most of it right. I know the focusing on characters instead of worldbuilding isn't to Sup Forums's taste, and I acknowledge that the pacing isn't as well, but it does what it sets off to do just fine.
>Green Arrow: Kingdom
5/10, the run isn't that bad, but...

>The Adventures of Jodelle
Weird beautiful amazing pop art comic. One of my favorite comics to just look at. Also the half of the book that's essays about Peellaert's art and career is neat. Knocked me out of my fucking chair when I saw that the guy who did this vibrant blocky art comic did the Taxi Driver poster and the Diamond Dogs album cover.
>Ghost World
Like my 20th read of it. I love it. One of the all-time greats.
>First 16 issues of Jonah Hex v1
Pretty incredible stuff. Actually has an over-arcing narrative that lasted longer than I expected. There's some really dark issues in there too. I like this part where a child gets shot and explodes.
>Judge Dredd vs Predator
I didn't like it.
>Bastard #1-3 by Max de Radigues
Been following it since it came out and I love it. Max is a fantastic cartoonist and this is so interesting and satisfying that I just wish it came out more frequently.
