Isn't that the film that nearly/did kill a studio?

...

It was a huge failure both critically and financially, I don't know the ins and outs of it, but I'm sure it's failure did have some significant effect.

That said, watching it many years removed, I liked it.

>: Heavens Gate
It killed united artists as a studio

There were major setbacks in the film's production due to cost and time overruns, negative press (including allegations of animal abuse on-set), and rumors about Cimino's allegedly overbearing directorial style; the film resultantly opened to poor reviews, earning only $3.5 million domestically (from an estimated $44 million budget),[8] eventually causing its parent studio, United Artists, to collapse, and effectively destroying the reputation of its director, Cimino, previously a rising Hollywood auteur from the success of his 1978 film The Deer Hunter, winner of the Academy Awards for Best Picture and Best Director in 1979.[9] Cimino had an expensive and ambitious vision for the film, pushing it nearly four times over its planned budget. Its resulting financial problems and United Artists' consequent demise led to a move away from the brief 1970s period of director-driven film production in the American film industry, back towards greater studio control of films, as had been predominant in Hollywood until the late 1960s.[10]

In the decades since the release however, general assessment of Heaven's Gate has become more positive,[11][12] with some critics now describing Heaven's Gate as a "modern masterpiece". The reception of the 1980 re-edit after poor test screenings has later been characterized as "one of the greatest injustices of cinematic history".[13] The BBC ranked Heaven's Gate 98th on their 100 greatest American films of all-time list.

Post some female body hair kino. Pits, forearms, you know.

>Warning: Only slightly less inaccurate depiction of nuclear warheads than Indiana Jones

why do you think this isnt a good depiction of a nuclear blast?

Because everyone in the video survives except the driver of the SUV. Hiding behind that small concrete block wouldn't have done shit for them.

>Hiding behind that small concrete block wouldn't have done shit for them.
you are absolutely wrong. Nukes are not as powerful as you migth think. Most of ppl in Japan didnt die due to the blast but because of fires and in colapsed buildings.

It will not guertee survival but it will give you a decent chance to live. Just a little cover like that can be a lifesaver.

Somebody wanted smooth hairless pits?

somebody made this

great fucking film

...

don't think that'll be the scene most of Sup Forums faps to...

And they made a lot of money from it.

So we can assume those people all die of radiation poisoning fairly soon after the fact?

You will never make hardcore porn with her...

dope

how did they shoot the last shot holy shit it looks like he broke his neck

this show became so bad by season 2 its unfortunate, i like the premise

make your own webms bruh

Unless it a ground burst or designed to be very dirty it not going to produce that much radiation.

Look at his clothes before and after he goes through the window, he's got padding on, still pretty crazy

If watching New Japan wrestling has taught me anything (and it hasn't), it's that Asians have an uncanny ability to land on their necks and be fine.

You just slowly decapitate yourself internally over time and die in the ring. RIP Mizawa.

...

...

Not really.

Stunt actors in those movies would always get super fucked up. Jackie chan movies always use the cut where the actor got the most fucked up out of respect, and also because it would be the most realistic of the shots.

I have no idea. Jackie Chan's stunt team must all be dead by now.

lol, I remember seeing this in the theatre way back in the day and thinking it was the "coolest" thing I'd seen, today it looks like absolute shit.

Imagine being the director and asking for that.

>you're a criminal slut and you're gonna show off your criminal slutbutt, got it?
>good heavens, not my slutbutt :3

Guessing SG-1

>let's kill a dozen innocent security guards to rescue our one friend

Yeah I realise that, I just want to know what that vehicle is for and why it's so stupidly small. I can't see any reason you'd build something that tiny and unprotected unless you wanted to drive it down the hallway of a building massacring everyone.

...

...

The size is so it could fit in a stargate I would suspect.

Okay, final two, as I have to turn my computer hardware over to processing a database.

Will do the rest of Fargo sometime later.

...

It's not a drivable vehicle, it's remote control and just carries equipment.

Also will say, they spent a small fortune for music rights for season 2 of Fargo.
