>they're going to kill off Cap & replace Evans with Stan's bland ass
>the airport fight is going to be horrible
>Cap & Iron Man are going to team up to fight Zemo and everything is going to be perfectly resolved at the end of the movie
>Civil War is going to flop, there's no hype for it
Has Sup Forums ever been so wrong about a movie before?
They're going to kill off Cap & replace Evans with Stan's bland ass
People here though BvS was going to be good so theres that
Also, we thought TDKR would be good.
Haven't seen this, but I was kind of hoping Cap would die, just because I think it'd be totally hilarious if two superhero films came out the same year with pretty much the exact same plot.
Especially if everybody loved one but not the other.
hey there was precedent for the TDRK to be good.
Civil War wasn't about dour assholes doing dour asshole things. that helped make it a lot more tolerable
If you stick to your guns that a movie will be shit. You'll be right half the time
How could anyone that saw MoS think BvS would be good is beyond me
Remember BvS? Also, I am glad Sup Forums was wrong, Civil War is great.
I honestly thought it would be great. I just kept thinking "This is their big one. This is kicking off their cinematic universe. With all the money they can put into it there's no way they'll let it turn out bad." I was so incredibly wrong.
>they're going to kill off Cap
>Cap & Iron Man are going to team up to fight Zemo and everything is going to be perfectly resolved at the end of the movie
But both of these would have made the movie way better.
There was that guy convinced Fan4stic was going to be a hit and we were all just haters.
Snyder pls. Neither of these things are true.
Dunno, I was expecting one of the best capeshit movies that concludes first decent capeshit trilogy.
Everything (well, maybe not everything) in the trailer suggested they were gonna fix what was wrong with MoS
The deaths of the Metropolis attack were finally gonna be addressed, Superman was going to a hearing to speak his position about the situation, part of the world and Batman were rightly pissed off at Superman because of how the battle was handled... and then we find out we got it all wrong
The thousands that died were barely addressed, if it wasn't for the crippled guy you'd barely feel the narrative presence of the victims of MoS. The hearing was never about the invasion either, apparently for 18 months nobody, Superman included, felt the need to explore and try explain openly what happened. Batman's rage was justified, but dumbed down, he was more of an asshole than a concerned man. The world's perspective on Superman was fucked up too (we mistrust him, we're confused by his existence! But let's build this creepy statue about how we're ants compared to his magnificence at the same time! It happened in the comics anyway, right?)
It's baffling how some of the fake leaks ended up writing a better movie. For example this one guy wrote that the hearing was indeed about the invasion, Superman wanted to explain to the world that Zod was an exceptional madman and they could trust him instead because not all Kryptonians were evil, that the terraforming machine was technically a device for the peaceful purpose of adapting new, empty planets etc, until Lex comes in and, with his scientific perspective, helps the world mistrust Superman because he explains that instead the Kryptonian technology was definetly designed to invade and destroy
Or for example how this one guy wrote that the Knightmare scenes were a different timeline that Lex was able to witness thanks to a device built with kryptonite, similar to the one he built in Birthright, effectively giving a reason for that bullshit to exist instead of just confusing you
Vision still sucks.
That was probably just Trank
>Cap & Iron Man are going to team up to fight Zemo and everything is going to be perfectly resolved at the end of the movie
This kinda happened tho.
This. The movie was honestly a bit disappointing but mainly because my expectations were too high. Still top 3 MCU and cemented Cap as the best superhero movie trilogy
I JUST WANT IT TO END
WHY HAS MEME MAGIC FORESAKEN ME
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
And don't forget how everyone was shitting on Spiderman for his eyes moving.
I'm just glad I fucking FINALLY got to see Spiderman done right. How they screwed it up for so long is beyond me. That alone was worth the price of admission. That and seeing Ant-man again. I fucking love Scott. "I thought that was a water truck".
B-b-b-but quips...
Except in a twist their team up was according to Zemos plan.
I don't remember any of it.
Instead, I only remember HYPE threads daily, and only positive opinions, and "look! CUTE, I say, CUTE!"
I don't think anyone thought that it's going to flop, the dark force is too strong for that
>>Civil War is going to flop, there's no hype for it
That was nothing but Sup Forums meme baiting. The hype for Spiderman was through the roof, and a post-Avengers movie staring RDJ equals billion box office numbers.
>All these characters are just gonna be shoved in for the sake of it
I mean, they weren't technically wrong, but there wasn't a single character there that I didn't love; and the most unnecessary characters - Wumbo-Man and Underoos - were also the best in the movie.
Deadpool.
But it was good
>inb4 U U U U meme
>inb4 Baneposting
In all fairness now that was an honest mistake and not a delusional one.
>Has Sup Forums ever been so wrong about a movie before?
>Hardy will suck as Bane
>Elba is a horrible choice for Heimdall
>Iron Man 3 is good
That's what got me when I watched the movie. For weeks, everyone on Sup Forums would shitpost about quips and critiquing how every Marvel movie looks the same (which is a legitimate critic desu). But it was really blatant when watching the movie that the tone was way darker than usual and the quips were basically present.
There were a few (good) jokes but there weren't as many as in say, Age of Ultron. It got the Batman Begins effects which the movie received a dark tone and every once in a while a small jokes creeps in.
I like this one better.
Either you guys are new or weren't around for those threads but I remember them well. Anons would tell anecdotes about how their friends would all talk about BvS and Deadpool and no one cared about Civil War. I laughed at them then and laugh at them now.
>GUYS, BLACK WIDOW IS TOTALLY GOING TO LIFT MJOLNIR
>BvS - 1.7 billion
>CW - 860 million
Boy, the tables have turned.
>Apocalypse - 1 billion
That was definitely wishful thinking.
But it was pure Kinôgraphé.
>I don't think anyone thought that it's going to flop
You've gotta be kidding me user. It felt like every week until BvS review day was someone shitting on it thinking it was going to bomb for one reason or another
>implying CIA isn't the best written character in the history of superhero movies
The airport fight was horrible. It was just a fucking game between them, no tension at all.
Not a single superhero movie has tension in it.
The MoS trailers looked great too. Despite the Snyder filter and Pa's worrisome "maybe"
False flagging m8s
Those anons deliberately made inflated claims to mock BvS with later
Witnessed. On unrelated note, does anybody have this image in hd? for wallpaper?
>Has Sup Forums ever been so wrong about a movie before?
Yeah, Ant-Man.
Because Snyder's movies are made to make trailers out of them.
Seriously, there's some scenes that are really out of place and are there just so they can show them in trailers.
I have no idea what you could possibly mean
Nightmare sequence, all the dialogue about ''You'll give them hope...'' in MoS...
These two movies are full of moments like that.
Not the full picture, but...
And that whole "The Bat is dead" speech. Great in the trailer, horrible in context. Supes just let a bunch of criminals get away to try to prove a point. He could've stopped Luthor's plan right there if he wasn't such an asshole.
Yes. Every single movie except Fantfourstic.
...
1.jpg has been begging for mercy a few days ago.
>except Fantfourstic.
How so?
>apocalypse
>87%
I'm so glad i've never been this wrong.
OUCH
I really don't want to be dragged to that movie bro.
I would say GOTG too but actually most of Sup Forumswas hyped for it pre-release. It's only after it was released and became super popular that it became cool to be contrarian about it and say it's shit even though it's one of the better movies.
>>they're going to kill off Cap & replace Evans with Stan's bland ass
Sup Forums was saying Disney lacks the balls to do that
>>the airport fight is going to be horrible
It was terrible
>>Cap & Iron Man are going to team up to fight Zemo and everything is going to be perfectly resolved at the end of the movie
They didnt team up or fought Zemo, but the "everything is going to be perfectly resolved at the end of the movie" was right
>>Civil War is going to flop, there's no hype for it
There was no hype, but that doesnt mean the movie would flop: There's no hype for avatar 2 and it will be huge. Hype doesnt not equal people that wants to watch the movie.
but it was
the post credit scenes after the plane crash are not canon
>There's no hype for avatar 2 and it will be huge
You don't know that.
How was everything resolved in the end?
>the avengers have broken apart
>secret avengers are hiding out in Wakanda
>accords are in full effect
>WM is paralysed
Are you one of those people that say that Stark and Cap are friends again because Cap sent a postcard apologizing?
Ultron pls
Ah, the art of doubling down.
bless you, user
Even we could see that wouldn't be watchable.
There was plenty of "I can't wait until this shit flops" before GotG.
> Stan
>bland
I think they meant cute
>Everything (well, maybe not everything) in the trailer suggested they were gonna fix what was wrong with MoS
Except the first line we heard is "Do you bleed? You will." which is incredibly shitty dialogue, so no. It didn't suggest that in the slightest.
I hope you don't fall for his bullshit again when the JL teaser drops.
>making inflated falseflag claims for months before release
thats not how falseflagging works, you do it right before or when something comes out
i guarantee 1.jpgfag genuinely believed all this shit and once these screencaps widely circulated, he started going full retard because he was "popular"
Eh, i guess
I highly doubt i'll see JL in cinemas unless the reviews are stellar. Technically i wasn't even going to see BvS already, i only did almost a month later the release because my brothers were too curious
Actual conversation between a friend and me:
>Are you gonna watch BvS?
>Nah, it doesn't look like they've fixed anything from MoS
>But MoS was great
>I didn't like it, but if you liked it you'll probably like BvS
>B-but why aren't you excited
Which one was you and which one was your friend?
>Stan's bland ass
Evans is pretty bland too.
Where can I read the source material?
Am poorfag
