It ripped off The Wheel of Time in so many ways I just couldn't believe it

I forgot all about it an hour after watching it.

This film made me realize how tired I am of capeshit. I forgot about it the moment I left the theater. Not even going to watch GOTG2 or whatever else is going to play this year.

all i remember is

>nigger taking orders from whites all his life
>set free
>commits crime at the first instance
>his first crime is stealing

pottery

I keep hearing about this book series, is it really that good?

I couldn't make it past the first book but one thing I can tell you is that it is absolutely fucking absurd to compare it to Doctor Strange.

If you want to read some good fantasy novels, read Discworld.

> not watching Thor

It was honestly one of my favorite Marvel films so far. It just felt different enough from all the usual capeshit.

>I KNEW HIM FROM WORK!

xD

>Remember this film?

yes

what the fuck is going on with his bicep there. it looks like some smeared strip going from his forearm to the bicep

It was like someone at Marvel watched Inception and was like, "We should do that..." *munches down popcorn*

user Disney makes their capeshit forgettable on purpose.
This way they can sell the exact same shit on the sequels without anyone noticing it.

>tee hee he doesn't know about makeup contouring

>one thing I can tell you is that it is absolutely fucking absurd to compare it to Doctor Strange.
How can you say this if you've only read the first book?

>*RECORD SCRATCH*
>YUP, THAT'S ME!

didn't think they'd need to do that on a guy like hemsworth

steroids

I remember it a lot more than either Thor movie. I would go see a sequel but I am done with Thor.

...

Metaphysical trippy capeshit is trippy good tripsman.

Forgettable famalamalamalamalama

thor 1 was bland but bearable, 2 was total shit
3's trailer felt like a nice change of pace though, so hopefully they don't make it some boring shit again

Poor film making dictated by disneys team of corporate lawyers. I can't believe there are people that pretend this was passable.

Thor 1 and 2 were both before Guardians of the Galaxy came along and Marvel realized that taking their movies in a, at at the risk of sounding like a shitposter, quippy direction is actually highly profitable for them.

Seriously, people may hate on quips but they're the reason why MCU is such a huge success.

A "failure" that made more at the box office than Man of Steel

Its funny how hard you guys try to force the "forgettable" meme on this movie. It had a completely different feel from all the other movies. It was extremely interesting. If anything, go after Ant Man or something.

Trying to paint Doctor Strange as forgettable is laughable and its obvious you guys are frustrated with their success

Movie has a good story but i Did not like the powers of Doctor strange. Those were quite funny and looked like shit. Well moviedude.info/watch-doctor-strange-online-free/ this link has the movie you can watch online.

It was generally pretty so-so aside from the time loop thing in the end.

I wouldn't call ant man forgettable either if only for being a superhero heist movie. The most forgettable marvel movies for me are probably the thor ones or the second avengers (though I suppose people have actually forgotten the hulk one)

Its your typical Chosen One story but with such an epic and fleshed out backstory with a huge cast of characters. Each book pretty much follows THREE main storylines with THREE main protagonists that are basically blood brothers. There are a number of sub plots within each book that slowly build over the course of the THIRTEEN book series all resulting in an endings that I personally found to be very satisfying.

What with the Author dying I was worried it would be a travesty however I am so happy that the final book introduced me to Brandon Sanderson. I own all the WoT books and now I am snapping up pretty much anything Brandon Sanderson.

Theres literally so much going on every time you re-read the series you discover something new you missed last time. Its like you're an archaeologist only reading instead of digging. The storylines can be so riveting that I found myself literally skipping half a book JUST so I can keep reading the storyline I was already engaged in.

Its a mess
Its amazing
Try it, 50 pages.

It is absolutely absurd to compare it to Doctor Strange.

To add more, the struggles are real. The failures of the main characters are real. People fuck up and there is always this underlying theme of hopelesness, this theme that the good guys are losing because they totally are. I cant go in to it further but its great and I lovedit.

I went in with no expectations and actually enjoyed it quite a bit. Was this movie really that hated?

doctor strange predates rigney

40% of it is damn good fantasy. The other 60% is literally women bitching at men and each other.

Vascularity from exercise

Get to a fucking gym you fat slob

>THREE main protagonists that are basically blood brothers
You'd never know it by about book 3.

Fuck off, this movie was great.

The Cape was funny, Grade-A colorful CG porn. The script was pretty much boilerplate Marvel, but not horrible. It sort of felt like the pilot to a TV series (one I would watch). It was a very fine line of how much money they wanted to rick dumping into it.

That's kinda what amazes me, we're in a time and place where Marvel can get away with making a Doctor Strange movie, and it's not a travesty. That would've been thinkable 15 years ago.

>risk

>new guy thinks he knows better than anyone
>breaks his club's every rule
>gets away with everything until the next movie
Strange was a cunt. Also, The Ancient One was a chick for some reason.

its decent for a casual flick desu

I've come to bargain.

It easily had some of the best CGI of any blockbuster that came out last year.
It went harder than it needed to on the comedy though.

It was pretty fun to watch in Imax desu. But other than that pretty average

>Remember this film?
Doctor Strange is my favorite Marvel series, so... yeah, I fucking do.

>invincible cosmic entity is scared of time
Was a fucking stupid way to make Dormamu fuck off desu.

And yet you all remember BvS and MoS
Really makes you think

>And yet you all remember BvS and MoS

people remember 9/11 too

> The movie stole some visual from inception
> It has a different film than the other no stake, bland vilain, qui infested movie
Yeah sure.
Fact don't lie though, nobody ever talk about dr strange anymore

>completely different
It was different in the same way that a mountain lion is different than a cougar.

The movie was painfully formulaic but the ending fight was one of the most kino things Marvel's done.
Why did Mordo go evil again? He thought that fucking around with time or something would have consequences but there wasn't any, everything was fine. That part felt forced

I know all these capeshits are similar, but it really felt like I was watching the first Ironman again with this one

Of all the capeshit from mcu this and antman are the only memorable ones

Piss off it was forgettable trash

It was so bland

Why does every Marvel character have the same personality?

>Marvel can get away with making a Doctor Strange movie, and it's not a travesty. That would've been thinkable 15 years ago.
why?

>Why did Mordo go evil again?

nigs gonna nig, basically

It was a travesty tho. The movie is unwatchable a second time. The magic felt weak and gimmicky. Literally nothing was done right

>people in general have shit taste
what a twist

>literally never spoken about again after release
>Sup Forums literally forgot it existed

>..most memorable

Top lel, malekiths fucking name is brought up more than these snoozefests

It was much better than the usual marvel. I liked the fact that the villain wasn't defeated in another 'two caped faggots throw CGI thingies at each other, the guy with the bigger CGI thing wins' , but he was outsmarted.

I also liked the inception-style fights.

>makes a thread claiming the movie is forgettable
>must've remembered the movie enough to make the thread
Bravo, OP.
