Is this going to be about that event they're going to start. Didn't that shit kill the industry back in the day?
Brayden Perry
My Body is Reggie.
Oliver Moore
Death Mate isn't an event, its just a villain named after one in the next Bloodshot arc.
Asher White
Stream is also gonna be hosted on twitch at /hyperrpg.
Jaxson Nguyen
Nice, fuck periscope
Levi Howard
>Marvel's Civil War 2 brings back foil covers >DC is doing a stealth Death of Superman event >now this
Now what's the next step in your master plan?
Christopher Clark
is there a reason to care, how many relaunches have they done the past few years?
Nathaniel Cooper
One
Luis Turner
Depends on what exactly you mean, continuity wise they've stayed the same since 2012 when the current stuff started. They do re-number comics after a writer finishes a run though.
Michael Campbell
I love Valiant comics but it pains me they get so little attention despite being better written than the Big Two and doing the whole diversity pandering better.
Aiden Davis
Not a lot we can do, I'll keep buying if they keep their current level and pace
Jayden Campbell
How did the Faith mini series do for getting them recognition?
Dominic Gray
IT IS HABBUDUNGGG
Grayson Perry
They got a bunch of press, I think it's a shame the mini was not to my Valiant standards, the setup was too long and it wasn't very interesting.
But the ongoing is getting publicity, that's good.
Nathan Jackson
Atleast Faith is out of the way first. Really interested in the Stalinverse stuff though.
Leo Bell
>7 new series announced today
Josiah James
>Didn't Liefeld kill the industry back in the day? ftfy
Nicholas Myers
What got announced?
I'm behind so I need to pick up some trades of events and get hardcovers for X-O and Bloodshot but nice to see they played the SJW crowd well to give them more of a boost in the public eye.
I don't get it though, Valiant are able to write different ethnicity characters really well without making a big fuss about it but Marvel just uses it as a selling point and are really in your face about the whole thing to the point of being obnoxious yet Valiant are the ones not getting love from the public.
Hunter Ward
I hope we get new Shadowman today. But who should write it?
Cameron Bennett
>What got announced?
Only the announcement of the 7 books so far, currently >Faith >6 others
Though, Faith had already been announced so maybe it doesn't count? Let's wait and see...
Dylan Price
>Van Lente doing Gen Zero I'm very ok with this.
Jack Long
I was hoping for more Ivar, but this looks nice too
Jordan Butler
Gen Zero> Harbinger.
Henry Price
>Teenage superhero A-Team I'm ready.
Aaron Perry
Remind me who Gen Zero are, were they the kids Peter and Faith tried to rescue from Bloodshot and Harada during Harbinger Wars? I liked them.
Thomas Gomez
How do I get into Valiant?
Eli Miller
Yeah, they're the kids that Bloodshot broke out of PRS that triggered Harbinger War.
Leo Roberts
Yep, them. They have more X-Men vibe than Harbinger did. Harada eventually got Rightclops/Xavier/Magneto vibe, but Harbinger remained bitchy & whiny group.
Juan Gomez
Start with Harbinger, X-O Manowar and Bloodshot. You'll figure out when to get other titles.
Ethan Cruz
MIlligan is writing Britannia. I hope its good, but his track record hasn't been great recently.
Nolan Garcia
>Peter Milligan writing Britannia
Depends on what you prefer? Humor -> Quantum and Woody Humor/Action -> Archer & Armstrong Action -> X-O Manowar Spooky -> Shadowman
The rest of the series fall into place, you'll know when you need to read something else, there's not a lot of overlap.
Jaxson Brooks
gen zero art
Ian Russell
The concept sounds interesting enough to get a couple issues.
Easton Howard
Is Bloodshot Reborn any good?
Dominic Garcia
Yes. I've been enjoying it a lot more than the first series.
Christopher Stewart
It is. It's also separated from Bloodshot, you don't have to read previous run.
Samuel Sullivan
Its my favorite book on my pull list. You should read The Valiant first.
Ian Wood
Personally I didn't like it that much. It was your basic story of a character becoming something they swore off, he said he would never become Bloodshot again aftee his nanites were purged. It was just a long re-origin story.
Bloodshot 2012 and his time with Unity. Thats my fuckin jam.
Kevin Rivera
It's fucking great, even the latest arc which is pretty much a (good) Mad Max ripoff is enjoyable.
And on that note...
Anthony Ward
Outside of his own mini, does Ivar show up much elsewhere?
Jayden Kelly
Only in Archer and Armstrong.
Ryder Rogers
This sounds fucking radical. Also, I hope Bloodhound becomes Bloodshot's sidekick.
Nicholas Myers
Is Gilad still in hell? Last I saw of him was the ending to Book of Death. Is he coming back?
Jaxson Taylor
Archer and Armstrong obviously since it establishes all 3 brothers.
Ryan Roberts
He fought his way out of hell and now he's trapped... somewhere else.
Matthew Bailey
Oh hey it's not Turok.
Parker James
Well, I have something to read after work. Thanks!
Ryder Nguyen
It's Kid Turok.
Easton Richardson
kek
Fuck Dynamite
Mason Allen
I think he returned to life at the end of the first arc, he wakes up in some facility that the next arc is gonna be about.
Adam Taylor
And unless I'm wrong, he's in arc with General REDACTED. Pure fun, senpai.
Eli Morgan
Not too keen on the name tBh
I understand they can't call him like... Korut, but Savage sounds too generic
Oliver Thomas
I doubt kid's name is Savage.
Julian Gonzalez
Is his first name Randy or is it just Savage?
Brandon Murphy
God, not Harbinger again.
Jose Rogers
I'm ok with this Renegades creative team.
Jack Morris
We'll have to wait and see. But question is will he be Macho Man when he grows up?
Tyler Anderson
>Darick Robertson Fuck yeah
Leo Murphy
Yeah, it sounds even more X-Men this time
I just want more Harada san
Sebastian Jackson
Ditto. And I don't like Renegades.
Jordan Watson
MAcho Man is his evil twin brother
Harada best character
Elijah Jenkins
Yeah it sounds like we probably won't get more Imperium when these starts
Nathaniel Long
It was good while it lasted. Harada bitchslapped half of world, alien scum and God. And his utopia will probably fail.
Jeremiah King
>Harada bitch slapped God
Mind telling me how that went down? I need to catch up on Imperium, one of the reasons I loved Harbinger wasn't for the Renegades but it was to see Harada basically run those little shits down. For people who were supposedly the good guys they really came off as villains.
Jose Flores
It was in Divinity
Matthew Wilson
I like the sound of this so far. But I like Harbinger just fine.
Ethan James
When Divinity showed up, Harada went to grab his power and shenanigans happened.
Juan Wright
>Divinity III: Stalinverse
Blake Long
And forgot to say, you're completely right about Renegades being bad people. Rapist, Chad, whore but almost, ubercunt and Golden Age fangirl aren't my cup of tea. Comrade of Shadows!
Jason Ross
Fuck yes, is this the 3rd guy coming back to fulfill Glorious Soviet Mission?
Bentley Smith
>Shadowman with sickle and hammer and Spoopy Skeleton Attack Force
Nathan Baker
Dare I dream of Bloodshot and Shadowman: Communist Duo?
Samuel Sullivan
Stalinverse Quantum and Woody in proletariat hijinks
Dylan Rivera
>Communists At least it's not Nazis, I would've liked to see something different but at least they aren't going for something incredibly overused
I found myself agreeing more with Harada then I did with Peter throughout the entire run. Both of them are walking nuclear plants but Harada has more of his shit together and stable, I wouldn't even want to be anywhere near Peter if I was a psioist.
Joseph Rivera
>Quantum only wants to be good communist >Woody wants to corrupt him with devilish Western TV shows
Seeing how my favorite muggas are Cyclops and Magneto, it's not surprising why i gravitate towards Harada. Plus, he looks groovy in suit.
Daniel Jackson
Is the stream not working for anyone else?
Noah Rivera
Sometimes I don't think Sup Forums deserves Valiant. The Faith mini made it almost impossible to have good discussions for a while but we're picking up.
Austin Green
It is working right now, there seems to be a giveaway now, so if you're American enjoy
Kevin Howard
>Ken Watanabe has stomach cancer
Alright, who's our next bet for Harada if the Valiant Cinematic Universe ever gets off the ground?
Nathaniel Campbell
Yah, it glitched a lot and now it's ended. Anyone wants to read One Percent?
David Turner
Harada is great because he consistently gets shit done
Juan Phillips
Couple of decades ago, I'd say that guy that was Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat. I love that guy.
Colton Robinson
>Ken Watanabe has stomach cancer FUCK YOU STAN
Hudson Ramirez
He could still play Harada when he's showing his actual age.
William Murphy
Now we need some decent looking Asian dude.
Evan Hall
...
Austin Foster
My secret wish is to storytime Delinquents one day.
Lucas Wilson
I never connected it to being the work of Stan Lee, using his black magic to destroy competition.
All makes sense now.
Also what about other roles for the Valiant Cinematic Universe? My choices would be the following: Clancy Brown-Master Darque Mae Whitman-Faith Herbert Jason Statham-Bloodshot Peter Stancheck-Dane Deehan Armstrong-Jeffrey Dean Morgan Livewire-Danai Gurira
Also feel like Aiden Young should have a role, no idea which character he could play, possibly Aric of Dacia? I don't really see it though.
Adam Evans
But until then, one-shots will be fine.
Samuel Martin
>Mae Whitman gaining the weight to play Faith
If her tits grow with the rest of her i'd rub myself raw
