In x-men news for August

>Nightcrawler will join magneto uncanny x-me
>Laura and O5 angel are still a thing
>The next arc of Extraordinary will focus on Magik
>Old man Logan goes to Japan
>Uncanny x-men will introduce us to the ALL NEW ALL DIFFERENT HELLFIRE CLUB

Cool beans.

...

Remember how horrible Aaron's Hellfire Club was

I don't like Nightcrawler on X-Force.

...

Bunn already said the new hellfire circle will have old and new members.

If Bunn remembered Monet brother I am sure he will remember characters like Sage.

I am betting in Shaw, Quire, Emma, Sage and maybe one of the kids from Schism.

Also Kurt is now DAMAGED, he needs to be there away of Jean

>>Nightcrawler will join magneto uncanny x-me
Dumb
>>Laura and O5 angel are still a thing
Dumb
>>The next arc of Extraordinary will focus on Magik
Might be cool, probably dumb
>>Old man Logan goes to Japan
Might be cool, probably dumb
>>Uncanny x-men will introduce us to the ALL NEW ALL DIFFERENT HELLFIRE CLUB
Dumb

Overall, pretty glad I'm not wasting my money on that stuff desu senpai

man I hope Emma's not evil. i should probably stop hoping for her and scott back again

Brood Saga through like Fall of the Mutants/Claremont leaving is Best X-Era btw.

...

...

Thank you as always X-user

...

No problem, user-kun.

...

...

...

...

Yeah in Brood Saga/New Mutants you see Claremont become a much better wrtier

...

I didn't realize how much a jump he took until reading those Classic X-Men back ups with the original issues

new mutants might be his best x-work

and when are we going to start reading new mutants ?

...

Anybody knows how i can reduce the size of the images without a quality drop?

...

Nah I say it's Excalibur

A week? Give or take.

...

...

Hey X-user, since the scans you're using don't include the letter columns, is it alright if I post some of them after the storytime?

...

Nobody knows?

Sure, no problem whatsoever.

So Claremont's trying to get us to ship it, right?

...

...

No actually, Claremont always meant for their relationship to be fully platonic.
The irony is reading Claremont's X-Men kind of made me decide that Claremont's Storm and Claremont's Scott would be excellent together because they compliment each other without Scott falling into the same mental trap he does with Jean and becoming emotionally dependent upon her in tons of ways.

That ship has sailed long ago though, and even if it were to come back it'd be temporary at best. Now comic pairings last for shorter times then celebrity marriages, X-Men parings especially.

Have you tried using the zoom function instead of just clicking the image? That usually does the trick.

...

That's probably because current writers are fans themselves, and they have their own ships they want to push.

>Phoenix outfit with Captain Marvel cape
I never knew I wanted this before.

...

...

Definitely a pretty classy looking costume.

...

...

...

Why even bother saying "probably"?
The deeply incestuous nature of the comics industry and it's fandom is kind of a major creative problem these days at the Big Two and prevents us from having awesome and memorable runs like they did in the 70's and 80's.

Yeah every so often a new wave of talent comes in to shake things up. Like the British Invasion or when DC just stole the talent from First Comics ( Ostrander , Grell, Truman, etc.)

DC and Marvel need a new one pretty badly, but it looks like if it happens soon it's going to be from webcomcis

I think enough people have just heard the stories from jaded pros about the industry to not want to go to the Big 2
