How well-known is this guy in your country? If they know of him do people believe he really went to the moon or are there a lot of people like in America that believe it was faked?
How well-known is this guy in your country...

Obviously he is well known
>are there a lot of people like in America that believe it was faked?
Yea sadly, we have a lot of such morons too. But they are a minority.
Pretty much any high school graduate knows his name and no, there's not any significant number of conspiracy nuts here, at least not on that vein.
Most popular conspiracy theory here regarding the moon landing has to do with a few minutes of radio silence that /x types think is cover up for alien contact.
>Most popular conspiracy theory here regarding the moon landing has to do with a few minutes of radio silence that /x types think is cover up for alien contact.
Never heard of this. What is the theory?
t. /x/
people don't really are into the fake moon landing thing here.
I don't get why it would matter either way anyway to be quite frank.
>tfw Buzz was supposed to be the first man to step on the moon but NASA thought Neil's ego could handle it better
it kinda sucks for the third guy. Nobody remembers him :/
>had to look up his name
Had that, "Oh yeah," feeling as soon as I saw it, though. Still, not as recognizable as even Jim Lovell. That does suck for him.
Of course he's well known. I never met a single moon landing sceptic.
>tfw you know the watch Buzz wore on the landing but not the third guy's name
He's well known here but in general Germans consider the achievements and contributions of the Soviet Union more influential, similar to the contributions to WWII.
Neil the hunan is like Laika the dog or Ham the Chimpanzee
He's very well known and almost everyone believes he went to the moon. There are always some nut cases, but no one takes them seriously.
I only remember Buzz because he punched conspiracy theorist.
That was based
And yea had to look up third guy too
>Michael Collins
Maybe they were right. Neil Armstrong never really exploited his fame or anything.
>He's well known here but in general Germans consider the achievements and contributions of the Soviet Union more influential
This is obviously a guy from the ex-DDR. The American space program accomplished way more than the Soviet one. There has never even been a cosmonaut who went out of low earth orbit. They never successfully sent a space probe anywhere but Venus and the Moon while NASA has sent probes to every planet in the Solar System.
...
In my opinion the Russians accomplished quite a bit early on, but after Gagarin's flight NASA started edging out, especially post-Lunar landing with Skylab and the SST
the doggo and monkey are more famous than that guy.

i bet punching that dude is the most important thing that big nosed fat fagut ever did in his life, although probably another act
>How well-known is this guy in your country?
Not much. I'm pretty sure most people (including me ) wouldn't recognize his face. His name would sound familiar but no one would know exactly who he is.
Gagarin is more famous globally. Normies think of that failed cyclists when hearing name Armstrong
Literally who
>first woman in space
>First animal in space
That's wrong though. Murica sent a Brazilian in 1949, Laika was sent in 1957. She was the first animal orbiting the earth though.
Not well known, I think Laika and Gagarin are more easily recognizable. And even if they do know about Armstrong, no one would doubt he actually went to the moon.
bump
>first woman in space
Imagine being such a cuck that you send women to space.
Yes, he is know for being the fist person on the moon.
