Does anyone else find all of these movies to be really repetitive?

Does anyone else find all of these movies to be really repetitive?

>new apprentice revealed
>downer ending, everyone dies horribly
>cops fuck up and can't catch any of the Jigsaw killers
>flashbacks with Tobin Bell
>goofy twist ending with Saw theme

Why don't they do anything new?

desu 1-3 are GOAT

3 was truly the most heartbreaking and best IMO

they at least had the sense to stop at 7

Ohhhh no they didn't.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saw:_Legacy.

I don't know why people liked 3 so much. I thought 5 was better than 3, honestly.

shawnee smith a cute

Saw 1, 2, 3, and 6 are all great horror films imo.

>>cops fuck up and can't catch any of the Jigsaw killers

I can forgive this considering that one of the lead investigators was in on it so obviously he could obstruct really well.

are you just learning or picking up this? Where have you been

1: GOAT.
2: Meh.
3: Second best.
4, 5, 6, 3D: All the same damn movie. Hoffman is pretty cool, but he's not onscreen enough.

Yeah, but in seven movies nobody gets anything accomplished except the dude who offs Jigsaw and Amanda. It gets old, even if there's an in-story excuse.

I just recently binge-watched the whole series.

Horror films are for edgy teens, they are all the same. Theres no point do anything new, edgy teens become grownups and kids become new edgy teens. Spoiler: they are mostly about being anxious about sex and independence/responsibility.

If they could they'd just shoot one film and swap out some CGI every three years. Nobody would know unless a neckbeard tipped them off.

i dont know how people can enjoy watching torture porn

are you people psychopaths

This

Saw is like Nickelodeon compared to serious torture porn. August Underground, Guinea Pig, Poughkeepsie Tapes and A Serbian Film are far more disturbing than Saw.

Watch it for the over the top torture and deaths. Plot doesn't matter.

August Underground and Poughkeepsie Tapes are low budget trash though.

So? That works in their benefit. August Underground is far more disturbing and graphic than Saw. Saw being called torture porn is laughable when you've seen more disgusting movies.

>Poughkeepsie Tapes
One of these things is not like the other

Can't remember which one, but I went to see a Saw movie and smoked way too much weed beforehand. Got to a part where this guy had a bunch of hooks ripped out of him and I started feeling sick. Literally had to get up and go puke behind the theater.

The first one was a classic case of cheap budget horror film that made fucking bank. Once big movie studios saw it could be profitable, they ordered sequels, just like most horror movie franchises and like most franchises, the sequels only parroted the first one. And the first one, believe me, was awesome when it first came out.

People actually thought AU was real though.

I caught Green Inferno on TV recently. Holy shit, that scene where the first guy gets cannibalized alive...

So fucked up.

1, 5 and 6 are GOAT

Perfect trilogy

You're right. It's better than everything else I mentioned.

How the fuck. He was definitely dead

I remember being 16. The difference is the Saw movies are well made.

Didn't Charlie Sheen see one of the Guinea Pig movies and convince someone to launch an investigation into whether or not they were fake because of how convincing they were?

Sequel magic.

Probably a copycat or they'll pull some "right before he died he mentored jigsaw2" bullshit

It seems like everyone that Kramer ever tortured just up and decided to become one of his apprentices.

I never really liked the Saw movies desu

It just seemed like it was "how much fucked up shit can we make people go through" for 120 minutes

Not to mention that later in the series every single person who ever gets put in a trap dies. There's no tension if you know that the protagonist is going to fail utterly no matter what.

>AIDS infested faggot thinks narcissist projects onto everyone else that they're as fucked up as he is
So yeah, probably
