Films From Your Childhood That Wouldn't Have Been Made Today

Title says it all really, give us a screencap preferably from a film and tell us why it wouldn't be made today.

Obviously this would be considered too "transphobic" whatever the fuck that is even supposed to mean.

You're wrong.

No I'm not.

you're right it wouldn't have been made today which is ridiculous. i've fapped to the ladyboy in that movie many times

Blazing Saddles is on netflix so if that's still playing, then i think anything is up for grabs

>still playing
>getting made

Not the same, the amount of times that nigger was used as a device of comedy without any overt social commentary attached to it in that film is I think something that wouldnt happen today.

my childhood....
hmmm
no, I don't think they would.

French movies that are like this get made all the time though.

You vastly overestimate the actual impact SJWs have on the real world.

Yeah, it's not like the new Dr. Who sidekick is a black lesbian and there is terrible sjw dialogue ham-fisted into every episode.

>Doctor says it is just like any other day. And with respect to the past being “a bit more black” than one sees in the movies, the Doctor says “so was Jesus” and adds “history’s a whitewash.”

Take it up with the Brits then. It's their show.

...

If they made this today Kevin Hart would play Ace and some white guy would be the big bad

>this is Jim Carrey's life now
youtube.com/watch?v=xoTzTFUZblY

no way, a fucking science fiction show for children is overtaken by social justice warriors

this surely means every other television programme and film is succumbing to the same fate

Say hello to the new Bond

what about this tho
youtube.com/watch?v=s1p6C2dX_2w

The best example you can come up with is on CBS' streaming service? Nah.

...

....

There's literally nothing wrong with the cast of this movie. That said, this does look like it should have been an AMC series and not a major holiday release.

>Riz "Cast us in your films or we will blow you up" Ahmed
theguardian.com/culture/2017/mar/02/riz-ahmed-warns-lack-of-diversity-on-tv-will-drive-young-to-isis

>cast that isn't 99% white man
kys race traitor

But it's only 20 percent white male from the human faces in that poster, the fan base for star wars is much higher than 20 percent white male.

...

I think a lot of those movies would still be made. The question you should ask yourself is, would they still be popular? And even more importantly, would they still be publicly endorsed as great movies?

There's a lot of difference between what most of us still like and what the (((media))) wants us to like.

we wuz god n shit

...

Nah, now he hardly ever leaves his art studio.
He just paints all day to battle his depression.

Fuck off that's too depressing, it can't be true.

At least he has fun.

it's not about sjw you naive fool. it's all about judenkikepigs in power positions

I hope Dark Tower crashes so fucking hard that it will catapult that nigger direct to dvd shit productions.

Back then, I don't remember anybody saying Ace Ventura was a good movie. Most people I knew trashed it for being stupid. I always used to feel bad for liking it. But hey, comedy can be a subjective thing.

Why are you putting the blame on Elba?

>whatever the fuck that is even supposed to mean.

It means this:

merriam-webster.com/dictionary/transphobia

Phobia implies some kind of irrational fear, it's perfectly rational to fear society telling children it is okay to chop their dicks off and have massively invasive surgery because they have some kind of mental illness that would more appropriately be treated with therapy and hormone drugs.

she didn't get it chopped off that's how he solved the case you fool

Some trannies do.

What always got me was why did he feel the need to prove she was a man, couldnt Dan have just testified that she kidnapped him?

Ace probably wanted to out Finkle because he kissed him and made him feel gay.

>watching Dr Who
kys

Some parts of Twin Peaks would not fly for todays audiences.

I don't though.

>minorities and Saudi Arabians portrayed as villainous
>main bad guy is Muslim

America couldn't make this, but since japan doesn't give a fuck about people of other colors they still probably could

...

>Believing Dan marino

I'm actually freaked out we have this thread because just 30 minutes ago I've watched this scene on YouTube and noticed a TUMBLERINA comment stating that this movie is transphobic.

what happened next user?
I'm on the edge of my seat over here

It didn't get popular until video, if I recall correctly. Like Austin Powers.

this one

I jerked off and started browsing Sup Forums. The end.

Anybody else think "Training Day" would never be made today?
>mfw it would still be made but the two leads would have been reversed, good guy black, bad guy white. shitty part of town, all whites,

>Get Out

>$107m bo
You dont

I just fucking love this movie

Even something like Scrubs which isn't even decade old seems problematic nowadays. And most of those actors are actual SJW faggots.

It's close.
I find looking back that the 70's up to mid 80's really channelled the inner pedo of society.
The "legitimization of Porn" with films like Deep Throat and even The Devil in Miss Jones led to movies like Last Tango in Paris, Realm of the Senses and even stuff by David Lynch.
Director/Photographers like David Hamilton made questionable "art " movies.
Heck even weirdos like Bo Derrik's husband who was like Tum Burton - only his films featured his wife fucking dudes.
Stuff like Taxi Driver, The Last Picture Show... I dunno.
Also, there wasn't this inundation of "Blockbusters" Oh they were there but it wasn't "If you are going to see one movie this May see this" every week.
The lack of direct-to-consumer distribution like VOD and even the faster release of Blu ray and Dvds kept movies in theatres longer.

But this was mainstream Good Ole USA.
Ditto Pretty Baby.

Pretty much everything made before the Millennium would trigger somebody and cause a shitstorm. The SJW is a delicate creature that demands safety.

I remember watching this as a kid when it came out. I thought the whole shock of that part was that "she" shit herself.

Thats exactly how the tv show was

Easy one right here

Not so sure all the lines about gooks and niggers would have made it in the final cut

Funny thing is though, he was an actual drill instructor so you know that's the kind of stuff that was actually being said, in fact I bet Kubrick had to ask him to tone it down.

I also remember about the black recruit and watermelon and fried chicken, them were the days.

youtube.com/watch?v=5TNhS81w4bM

Name one (1) film like that made in the past 3 years.

LOL. Sup Forumstards always imagine some dastardly schemes in this Hollywood race crap. In reality it's just an attempt to penetrate the female and minority demographics to make more profits.

No he's not. It's not that they wouldn't do another crying game moment in film, it's the reaction.
>Everyone throwing up
>Ace jokingly acting like a rape victim in the shower
>scrubbing his mouth out with bleach because he kissed it

The triggering it would cause, would shake the earth (mostly cause sjws are fat as fuck)

Being this stupid..

to actually answer OP

the hero of the movie rapes the villain's gf in a heroic moment of... heroicism, i guess

TOP KEK

END MY LIFE PLEASE

Childhood Terror

Maybe in the ironic "land of the free"

Europe and Asia there would be no problem

I was going to answer with this.

youtube.com/watch?v=WgOIEGz7o_s

Teared up a bit when it looked like Blood wouldn't make it. Ending is GOAT once it sinks in.

Came to post this. Watched it on TV last night.

>booger calls someone fag.
>Middle aged lady molests 11 year old Wormser.
>hidden cams in the sorority house.
>distribution of stolen nudes.
>nerd tongue rapes girl.
>limp wristed throwing style.
>they refer to omega moos as a bunch of pigs.
>everyone is afraid of black people.
>girls "blowing" the members of Rhoe Rhoe Rhoe.
>black guys love weed and old negro spirituals.
>showing naked chicks to a minor.

This movie has it all.

In Europe people would be upset that there was no scene of Ace lovingly sucking her dick. Ace would only be upset after finding out because he didn't get a chance to enjoy her feminine penis.

Rated PG.

Conan the Barbarian
Predator

Other mankino

Upset perhaps. But the film would still get made

Unlike in the "land of the free"

>Phobia implies some kind of irrational fear
lol

Fucking loved that film, the witch meeting shit was scary af though. Still creeped out by it.

is that olyphant? what is this?

i would fuck Finkle desu

Why?
Great movie btw
>all we are
>is dust in the wind
>dude

>whatever the fuck that is even supposed to mean
whether you agree with it or not, you must be pretty fucking stupid to not know this

He's the most convincing trap I've seen, so I don't blame you.

I was lamenting the over use of the "phobia" as an insult, you must be pretty fucking stupid or autistic not to pick up on that.

There's even rumors of a sequel in the works.

Of course if it was made these days it would be world history and all the historical figures would be non-whites and women.

Bogus Journey came out in 1991.

Just like all the race reversal in CSI torn from the headlines shit?

I'll only tell you if you tell me what the retail on one of those is.

A movie like this could still be made today, but I think it just wouldn't be heavily marketed or released to a lot of theaters. It would be like an independent film, like a Von Trier film, flying under the radar, only seen by people who look for it. The plebian masses wouldn't be aware of it.

Well that's literally the dictionary definition, and the new names are probably intentional. Whether it's called transphobia or islamophobia, it's easier to imply your opponents have some outdated, irrational fear of something as opposed to admitting their concerns may have some basis in reality. Example: I'm not afraid of islam, but I do think it is a toxic, dangerous ideology and I don't want their followers living near me or in my country.

What scene is this?

The scene at the end when Ace is attempting to expose Einhorn for who he really is.

>$2.95
>nowadays most places charge twice that

Any good and original movie

This movie had a really small release, from an acclaimed director. Most people are unaware it exists unless they are film nerds. Argue if you want, you know it's true. But still, it was made in 2012. So I think that's one point for the "These movies still get made" side.

Why'd you bring the buster here?

3 of the 8 are fucking robots or aliens. That makes up for it.
