What's his best movie?

what's his best movie?

Surely not Vertigo

Best is probably Rope.
Rear Window is my personal favorite.

North by Northwest or possibly Vertigo

t. I've seen most of his films

Rear Window

Be not plebs and post a top 5

>1. Shadow of a Doubt
>2. Notorious
>3. Vertigo
>4. Psycho
>5. Rebecca

99999999999999999999999999999. The Birds

Birds would have been better if the entire movie took place inside the diner and they dropped the entire snoozefest love story

prove me wrong

I know it's trendy to hate on Vertigo but I really do think it's his best.

Damn...

1. Rear Window
2. Rope
3. Dial M For Murder
4. Psycho
5. The 39 Steps

The Birds is the most kino

Rope.

All I know is The Man Who Knew Too Much is by far one of the worst. It bored me to tears.

...

North by northwest and psycho are his least shitty ones.

Rear Window or To Catch a Thief

It's so sad watching The Birds now, seeing San Francisco and the California countryside so white and peaceful and knowing what the savage brown invaders have done that place only 50 years later.

Rear Window had me glued to the screen the entire time, that shit dope.

Really intense stuff, but it doesn't really work that well on a second viewing when you know what happens.

Why do people hate Vertigo now?

I really loved the Birds. I was extremely surprised and impressed.

that non ending, i noticed all his movies except rear window have non endings
why were the birds attacking? what happened after?

I don't hate it but it's hardly the best movie ever made as that sight and sound poll suggests.

kek I thought this was a rodger ailes thread

Oh, so it's just a knee jerk reaction to some shitty list. Should've guessed it.
