I was gonna write this long thing, but basically they are lying to shitty kids that buy into the art meme and charge them 28 grand a year knowing they will never be good enouh to compete in the art world to pay that debt. since art schools are failing they are just concerned about getting numbers up to stay financially afloat to keep accredidtion.
here's the weird part, art school isnt like law school or engineering
art school is very community oriented, critiques are the exams
and when you have bloated classes filled with kids that are not good enough to be in those classes, critiques suffer.
when critiques suffer, the best artists lose the most.
