Ok
im an idiot regardless of what i think about a movie.
It's made by Sony
as a hardcore scify movie with original ideas and some gore it would have a lot of potential.
then you know its going to be pg13 and your generic capeshit turd.
Tom Hardy alone will make this movie great, not to mention the cast that is still yet to be chosen, you nae sayers better get ready to be cucked
Sony has shown they have the power to screw up anything.
I can see it right now
>Venom goes through production, intending to be a gritty, violent, R-rated movie, capitalizing on the success of Logan and Deadpool
>during post, or in the lead up to release, Sony studio heads decide it actually needs to be fun, lighter-toned, PG-13 rated, and have a poppy soundtrack, so they mangle it as needed
Actually I think this movie will be good
if this movie is PG13 I'll kill myself
This. It has no hope.
>its another cross universe casted actors playing super hero roles movie
Who is Hardy playing this time?
Hopefully a full on blackface nigger
>Make a Venom cinematic universe with no Spiderman
>Sony trying to make a cinematic universe AGAIN after AMS and Fembusters
It will do just fine
You're an idiot if you think any movie in the last decade is good.
isnt eddie brock taller than parker?
this
They already confirmed an R rating is the goal.
Tom Hardy is a hilariously bad choice for Eddie Brock unless they're literally scrapping any connection at all to the source material.
Call me when there is a Carnage film
Sony will find a way.
The premise is good and all, and it's a great lead ac-
>Made by Sony
Welp. I guess with some luck Sony won't survive it to the release date.
A standalone venom film with no ties to the current Spider-Man continuity or MCU is odd.
So much of Venom's story is ingrained in obsessing over Spidey.
Though, with the age difference between Tom Holland and Hardy, the whole obsessive angle could be a little much.
For a second there I thought they gave that faggot Shia LePoof a new role.
The Hateful 8 is the only movie I can think of that I liked.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Marvelfags lost their fucking minds becacause its not a part of their gay universe
That, and also general normie audiences often don't really bother to keep track of which movies are/aren't in shared universes together, or which franchises are owned by which studios
Remember how back in 2012, tons of people were confused about why Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man didn't show up in NYC in Avengers
It'll probably be a challenge to explain to audiences how/why Sony's universe and Tom Holland's Spidey are separate that way
