So what's been the spookiest part so far?

probably should edit the title to have /tpg/ in it

who was the lady with the sewn eyes that cooper meets after falling through the floor and getting trapped in the glass box?

I know the second one was supposed to be Ronette

blind woman

youtube.com/watch?v=ujDB5ao1JCg

What do you guys think of it?

The scene in the black lodge basement with (maybe) Josie

Spookiest was probably when the glass box started to go black.

Tensest/most dramatic was the conversation between Gordon and (evil) Coop

>mfw it completely lived up to my expectations and then some

I'm so happy, this almost never happens.

Shit my bad, sorry I don't usually make these

There's no way to edit thread titles though is there?

I guess for whoever makes it next time

So, is old Cooper back now that he's had his coffee, or do I have to keep looking at that drooling idiot?

>"my mother is coming"

makes no fucking sense but it's captivating

Josie Packard

The running theory is that it's Josie.

Legit teared up a bit at this scene

OK good I'm not the only one who figured that was supposed to be Josie. That would be a close second to mine

no worries my dude, thanks for making a thread

Episodes 3/4 fucking where

I can't sign up for showtime since i'm in Japan

he's gonna be retarded until they kill other-coop

The Showtime player credits listed her as Nodia or some shit. The actress who played the eyes sown shut lady was asian. Josie was the second person not the first one.

to me this was the cringiest scene next to Jerry's dude weed lmao bit.

BOB/Dopplecoops interview in the prison.

That sudden voice change was weird as fuck.

This is one of my biggest complaints with the show so far. FOUR episodes in and we STILL don't even have Coop yet. The retard Coop is funny and all but the character's charisma was what made him so likable to begin with and that side of him has been literally nonexistent so far.

the second person was rhonette pulaski
you're a fag

That scene was vintage Twin Peaks.

I haven't had any excitement for a show since LOST season 6

No it's not. That's just the episode's evil doppelgänger.

Tell it to queen dopplepopolis.

milf confirmed

Who was Cole mentioning at the end? I figure it'd be either Audrey or maybe we might see Diane in person

This has been challenging as fuck, and it has a lot of potential so far. It just has to come together going forward and bring in some more OG twin peaks music /classic character scenes and i'm in.

It's VERY different, there's almost no focus on people having secrets so far, it's also been scarier than the OG series so far.

Fucking amazing.

There's something sexual as to how the spirit shreds them to death and they just stay there and take it

Or is that just me

bobby's acting was awful there unless it was supposed to be

is the series finale really september 3rd, seems like a very long time

You're not alone user. Best part we have another 14 hours left.

Wow, Literally best scene the entire season.

EP 3 is on RARBG

The second person was Ronnette.

the entire point of this production is to tear up television tropes and preconceptions
Cooper's character as it stands in Seasons 1 and 2 is, by process of time, trope. Why you would think David Lynch would happily return to that territory is beyond me.

quick rundown on twin peaks?

Either Theresa Banks, Josie or that other lady who was killed by bob.

Jesus the box shit is honestly fucking terrifying.

cole/cooper was the best scene. there's a reason lynch left it for last.

Definitely not, but that's just because there were so many other great parts. Weed mogul jerry was hilarious.

Can you expand on how they've tackled these themes so far in these episodes?

>david lynch is 71 years old
how does he do it

it's hot

SOUTH PARK EREMENTARY KONICHIWAAAA

Audrey or Annie

Oh hey it's Michael Bisping.

>when it burst out and tore those kids the fuck up

At least its not rushed. Hopefully in the next episode, I'm sure something will happen and he will be back in his wits

IDK man, doesn't make sense to me.

BOB was obsessed with taking Laura Palmers body so he could escape from the Black Lodge. He didn't give a fuck about her garmonbozia as indicated in FWWM and the books.

It only makes sense dopplecoop would give up his body to BOB.

If only Blade Runner can pull it off now

Bobby's acting was completely in line with his characterization in the original show. Even if he were a godly shakespearian thespian, for him to act out of character would have been bad.

Cheers m80

The only sucks when they bring back old cast members, and luckily this only seems like an afterthought so far, it really is going on its own tangent which was my highest hopes for this show. That Lynch would say fuck it and take it somewhere genuinely unpredictable.

It's Diane, played by Laura Dern.

Also how do you explain dopplecoups demonic voice in the prison?

someone guess at what the fuck jacobi is doing in the woods, clearly there's still something going on in them (drugs) and an owl is following? retard coop

That's not happening.

i just felt that he overdid the crying, but whatever. it didn't ruin it. to me the 2nd best most dramatic/goosebumpy scene was the reveal that he was a cop so i can forgive it

You're talking about the hair?

I like that they kept the original theme.

Based Dooper killing Shaddy's roastie wife

>left it for last.

>episode 4 of 18

it does hurt sometimes to see the older characters having obviously aged to a point that it messes with their presence on-screen

Keep dreaming.

Who /michaelcera/ here?

lol

he's painting shovels to his heart's content

This here made me realize how precious being young truly is

I'm never going to be in my early to mid 20s again so I better enjoy it now

I was hopeful for this season, and I knew that even if I was disappointed I would still probably defend it. But I genuinely fucking love it so far. We have a whole goddamn summer of this. I can't wait.

WALLY BRANDO IS THE GREATEST

This and Richard Chamberlain's cameos/roles were the weirdest and most random of the bunch. Not complaining, since this is Lynch we're talking about, just stating my opinion.

What's his plan?
Also why is other-coop making people sick with his presence?

Is this a joke? This looks terrible.

I'd say this is only true for maybe Ben Horne and Andy

the two aren't completely separated, BOB can only manifest for a bit in that specific focus spot to harvest Garmonbrozia. Whoever owned that box obviously had everyone disappear when the security guard got a confirmed time for that chick to show up.

no ur a joke

INFUSE THE MACHINE WITH GOLD

Are you guys happy with Lucy and Andy being 20x more retarded than in season 2, I found it really fucking annoying, I always thought of Lucy as a intelligent but silly woman, now she's just straight up retarded

Charcoal man in the prison cell deserves an honorable mention

The effects are really bad.

The kid can act holy hell

What are the best memes this season has spawned so far?

What I mean is Cooper isn't has horrifying as Leland was.

He just shoots that woman where as Leland went fucking nuts with Laura and Maddy.

It's entirely possible to subvert tropes without foregoing the heart and soul of your show.

oh he's making the shovels gold

is there anything about gold in the secret history book

holy shit I knew he was familiar
he's fucking blackthorne

They couldn't do it with the novels decades ago, they won't do it with a film with 1/3s of the original cast gone and a different director.

Not saying its going to be bad. It's just not going to compare to the original.

I think what he puked is the creamed corn looking thing from Fire Walk With Me that represents the pain and suffering he's caused

>My dharma is the road. Your dharma is...

The casino scene was fucking trippy and unique as fuck. Never seen anything like it before even though the setting itself was relatively conventional.

Sorry I'm a newfag is the Black Lodge just a weird Lynchian metaphor for Hell?

HELLoooOOooOO!

She was a fucking idiot. Watch the show again. They're no dumber than they ever were.
