remove prometheus and covenant
keep the rest

i wanna see giant elephant humanoids

cancer
cue the scene where 70yo sigourney weaver reaches out and touches one on the head as it moans benevolently and brass swells in the background

Someone put Ridley in a home and just give it to Blomkamp. It's literally impossible to make a worse Alien movie than Covenant, which made the AvP movies seem thoughtful and well shot by comparison.

stop trying to explain everything and keep shit mysterious

Keep Alien 3 but with the ox alien look like a bull one
Alien resurrection without ripley and xeno clones but instead space jockey clones wich are like the original
With Prometheus I'd keep the engineers but made them separated from the space jockey, diferent suit and ship, keep the story almost the same, they are trying to create a xenomorph to combat the ones from the space jockey
they don't want to destroy earth but to turn humans into bioweapons to fight the space jockeys xenos
Haven't seen covenant

That's fucking lazy and stupid

Can't go back in time senpai

>i wanna see giant elephant humanoids

also this

hate that is seemingly the no.1 opinion when it comes to covenant

i actually want them to explain more of the alien but tie it in with a great story

Weyland-Yutani tracks the crashed ship on LV-426 back to its origin, an outpost colony for the Space Jockey species which is spread across multiple star systems.
It's a technologically advanced race based on a caste system, pilots are grown into ships, they all look different yet all have a vaguely humanoid appearance and are at war with themselves. Their reliance on technology has left them sterile.
Facehuggers are not a bioweapon, but a biomechanically engineered form of medical aid that helps the sterile race reproduce, like alien viagra. Facehuggers carry Space Jockey dna which it implants on females so they can perpetuate the species. The Alien you see in the movies are an unintended side-effect when the face huggers apply the DNA to humans.

Also, reminiscent of Prometheus, all of mankind and all life on earth is an accidental byproduct of their attempts at terraforming, no more significant than mold growing on a rock.

Remove Resurrection and AvP

I liked the idea of the Engineers trying to wipe out humans, my problem with it is that the audience was given so little information. I understand there needs to be a sense of mystery (for suspense and to set up the sequel), but when nobody has any real clue what's going on it makes the story less interesting.

Like the black goo, for example. Why does it kill engineers in seconds, but takes days to kill a human? Is it just a question of dosage?

Im seeing a lot of complaints (valid ones) but not many story ideas.

>Like the black goo, for example. Why does it kill engineers in seconds, but takes days to kill a human? Is it just a question of dosage?
Yeah that's so fucking retarded, it seems that the first goo the dude takes was different but we never get to see it again so there's no explanation
In a deleted scene it was that same jar instead of that green diamond that came out of nowhere
Also it turns a worm to a snake but where did that worm came from?
And why did the goo go outside of the jars in the first place?
We later see David opening one but the ones in the room were leaking from the top while being closed.
You know at first this was alien: engineers then he decided to make it more different but still sell it as a prequel and now with covenant it's alien again, dude is such a hack
He changed so many things and it's just laughable this new graphics about all these new xenomporphs and their new repructive systems.

the aliens were a biological weapon created by a race that created intensely specialized biological organisms for every task. The space jokey was part of the ship and completely incapable of moving or walking around.

good luck preventing him from crashing the ship

I've seen every Alien movie but that specific scene in general is the one that I cannot make it through for the life of me. Even when I was younger it was just too much cringe for me to handle.

what scene?

I think it's Resurrection and the Newborn that he's referencing.
