Dan Slott's entire run of She-Hulk. Which is funny to say given how atrocious his Spider-Man is, but I guess even a shit writer can have ONE good comic book under his belt.
John Byrne's She-Hulk is pretty funny too actually.
The Amazing Spider-Girl is one of the most highly acclaimed books Marvel ever did and the seed for the entire MCU setting.
Amathyst: Princess of Gemworld is surprisingly good considering it's basically American Sailor Moon at first.
Manhunter with Kate Spencer as the star is really awesome too.
Batwoman too, though some might find it's art style a little strange at first.

>tfw you wanna talk about comics but you also don't wanna feed a troll

Love and Rockets
Current Ms Marvel
90% of Greg Rucka's work
Claremont's X-Men
Amethyst Princess of Gemworld
Wagner's Madame Xanadu
Robinson's Scarlet Witch
Byrne and Slott She-Hulk

Felicity because shes so perfect, feminists love her

it´s a webcomic but ava´s demon is pretty good.

Who is trolling here you pratriarchal oppressor?

She is not woman enough

Too bad it only updates during solar eclipses

Great list

Bad grrrrrl comics
90s extreme edgy badass chicks

Oh!
I forgot that Claremont's run of X-Men features Storm as basically the main character for years more or less and most of the major plot points revolve around female characters.
Excalibur is similar, but with Kitty Pryde and Rachel Summers instead.

All three volumes.

Forgot about them.

>anything about women
>worth reading, watching or listening to
No.

I was going to help you but you called me a misogynist for no reason

:)

echoing the sentiments on slott's she hulk, i really enjoyed that run

You're also a cuck

Paper Girls? Paper Girls.

as good as pepsi cola?

Is Supergirl good?

>Amathyst: Princess of Gemworld is surprisingly good considering it's basically American Sailor Moon at first.
I liked it but it wasn't that good either. Certainly worth a read and has a lot of potential. It's a fun read, sure though.

...

Eh.
Silver Age Supergirl is Silver Age Usual DC; good if you're into it but it's kinda formulaic. During the Silver Age DC was pretty conservative with their characters and storylines and stuck to "what already worked" a lot, though by the Bronze Age and 80's they got way better, equally or exceeding Marvel.

Her modern stories are sometimes okay, some times good, sometimes bad, basically very average at best.
Not the worst comic's ever written but not particularly notable either, sometimes struggling with trying to find a writer who can write her and giving her an extended cast that actually clicks.

That second half got dark as fuck.

I'm going to help you despite you being the sort of douchenozzle that goes around calling innocent people misogynist. It's several years out of date but you can go find something new on your own if you're going to complain.

He said GOOD comics.

>He

your post needs more Martha

...

I was really looking forward to reading it, so I was expecting more out of it. The writing style fell a little flat for me, though it's kind of a fun read as a sort of an 80's Saturday morning cartoon in comic book form.

I thought it had lots of great, cool concepts, like the Emissaries of Varn, Carnelian using guns, the origin of Gemworld, Gemworld itself, etc.

SORELY needs to be updated into the modern era, but nothing like what I've heard the nu52 version was.

It's too bad that the DC Nation shorts will never be given a full cartoon.

I like Ivy so i'll give it a chance. Got anything for Killer Frost?

I miss when feminism was cool riot grrrl punk rock chicks who could beat the shit outta you if they wanted to. Now it's just fat lesbians with bad haircuts complaining on twitter.

Artesia

we're done

lana is cute

Ed Brubaker and Genevieve Valentine's Catwoman runs.

Pretty much everything by Terry Moore or Posy Simmonds.
The Passengers of the Wind
Fatale
Velvet
Aldebaran
Cyber six
Wake

>mfw no one mentioned the Authority

That is absolutely still a thing it's just not mainstream.
Go to house shows

Blue is the Warmest Colour
Fun Home
Black Magick
Kamala as Ms. Marvel
Wonder Woman by various authors
Batwoman: Elegy

user Papergirls is garbage.

>mfw I just say "I can't read Vaughn month to month, his cliffhangers are terrible, I just wait until it finishes" so I never have to talk about his books
I'm a big fan of Ex Machina howver

His cliffhangers are the best thing about him

what a house show

Only in later volumes, and i'm pretty sure OP would have many uncharitable things to say about you if they ever cracked it open, and wouldn't read long enough to get to the later volumes (nine in particular) where the character begins to become Empowered.

I do love those and they are pretty good though.

Girls.

I Hate Fairyland
Prez
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
Mockingbird

what was that one with gods being reborn as rockstars every 70 years and Lucifer was that Bowie-inspired girl that went by Lucy?

First post best post

The Pro.

Stray Bullets.

...

Selina the Big Score

That name...
:^)

What are the QT designs? There better be porn of these two.

Does anyone know any comics featuring Mary Marvel? She's great.

You're a funny guy. i like you.

>WOMEN
>plural
I'd say Wake (Sillage), but it only has one girl has a main character. Acting as a special agent for a space empire.
On the other hand, it doesn't have any men, since the rest of the cast is composed only of aliens.

Same for Druuna (post-apoc road trip), one woman and the rest is mutants or robots.

Freak's Squeele (high school urban fantasy) has two women as the protagonists. So do Marlysa (med-fan) and Yoko Tsuno (x-files/sci-fi/adventures/err...).

...

Pic or any book by Kerascoet, really.

Dear diary, today was a good day. I got a couple anons to read Beautiful Darkness, and then they cried themselves to sleep.

>Robinson's Scarlet Witch
What's the general consensus on this?

I thought it started well, but it seems to be going down in quality. What was with the shitty flash art on one of the issues? The first two were great!

I am frankly surprised to be the first to post that.

Sadly, yes.

The Marvel Family

I'm ordering this on Amazon in the next two days

Ben Fleuter's Derelict

...

>ywn fuck her face

print comics:

Les Nombrils

webcomics not mentioned so far, but some also in print:

Girls with Slingshots
Octopus Pie
The Property of Hate
Bad Machinery
The Fox Sister
Widdershins
Kukuburi, indefinite hiatus
Lackadaisy
Blindsprings

The Wicked + The Divine
Alias
The Pulse

Guybrush is also a stand-in for the player.

...

>no one's said Halo Jones yet

Shame on you all.

If you want to be clever, you're supposed to squeeze in a few bad examples in a long list of good stuff. listing just a few shitty things is...not funny.

I expected this to pop up at some point in the thread, but 1st reply?
sasuga user!

Rachel Rising

No mention of Rat Queens?
Also Saga has some pretty great female characters as well.

Spider-Gwen
Ms. Marvel
Harley Quinn
All-New Wolverine
Wonder Woman (Azzarello's run, ended)
Alias (ended)

Rat queens is an embarrassment of a D&D comic, doubly so compared to its IDW predecessor.

like this

That's the spirit never give up.

Yeah, but its still second best as a result.

Bandette.

French Tintin, but as a superhero thief.

Anyone know anything about this? Looks neat but I haven't ever heard of it before.

Or this one

>good comics
>with WOMEN as main characters

>tfw she will never let you fuck her in the ass while she sings video game

Spotted the subhuman asexual filth.

two out of the three they posted are pretty good. Alias is actually really good and one of the few times where the bendis-isms actually worked and pulse is a less good sequel.

I haven't read Wic+Div so I can't comment on that.

I won't

Persepolis if that counts

From current series: Ms Marvel, Prez and Ultimates if that counts

A show...at someone's house....

Yes they are. But then i had them all raped.

Yours truly
Frank Miller

...

Alias is horrible, the worst example of bendispeak and copy paste panels.

...

Frank Miller would never say such a thing.
