What if when bob created dougie in order to stay out of the black lodge, he put him a couple decades in the past to avoid paradoxes or getting exposed? And the real coop from the past came across dead dougie after coop left the lodge in these episodes
It was said that either bob-coop or real-coop-in-dougie must die, but I doubt it'll be the latter since that'd be the end of good dale.

The glass box represents television and this scene is Lynch telling us how we should watch his show: stare at it attentively, no distractions, no questions about what it is, what's its purpose, how does it work, etc., just sit down, pay atention and don't let anyone else in on the secret.
