Looks orange to me.

Of course it is.

I keep trying to tell people this and they think there's like 2 million more hicks in the state than there actually are.

>t. increasingly nervous man

...

Quiet you

I'm from Philly and a lot of old white union cucks have been redpilled. Obama care fucked their life up.

Feels fucking bad man.
Fucking Filthy ruins everything. Then you also have the increasing puerto rican population in Lancaster and now fucking York and Harrisburg.

I lived in Allentown for a while, which was great because I got to go to Philly and New York City a few times.
The close proximity to NY is probably why it's blue?

Not today Senpai

The point is that if Trump wins, he can't depend on PA being part of that victory.

Hillary is guaranteed all but 10 electoral votes. He needs to only allow her one of the remaining swing states.

It's really a lopsided map this year. Trump could win the popular vote by 5% and still lose.

How is it a blue state when PA has some of the happiest citizens?

Aliquippa is spelled wrong you fucking piece of shit

There's one tiny corner that's blue. The rest is blood red, faggot

T. Monroe county

He has a shot at splitting PA/VA, that's basically all he needs to do from here and it's his

Florida and Ohio are locks

>Trump splitting Maine
This is how I know you're being silly

>Lebanon
>Bethlehem
>In pennsylvania
which moron thought those were good names for US towns

A lot of the dems in PA are blue collar workers who are part of big labor. This demographic will go for trump far more than any previous republican candidate in the past few decades. A lot of democrats are also blacks in Philly. Hillary is no where near as popular as Obama with black folks. I don't think you will see much movement of this demographic to trump, but they may not turn out for Hillary.

The black vote wanted to turn out for Obama, in order to turn out for Hillary they will needa motivating factor. Cue Black lives matter movement. This is why you see support for BLM from Soros groups. It is really a get out the vote campaign for black people. Hillary may not be that liked, but if black people perceive an overarching racial issue at stake they will turn out as well.

Of course it is.

LETS GO FLYERS

Feels good being from PA and living in VA. I'm doing my part every day.

With the exception of 2004, the split was pretty much always 51/49. Trump will turn PA and NY red.

Not anymore breitbart.com/2016-presidential-race/2016/04/25/60000-democrats-switch-republican-party-pennsylvania-ahead-primary/

>tfw solid red so the god emperor will win here regardless

I still vote, but it gets boring already knowing who will win

>How is it a blue state when PA has some of the happiest citizens?

Pennsylvanians are conservative on 2 issues: Tobacco and Guns.
Everyone here hunts. And everyone here chews.
If you can guarantee us that, we will vote for a Democrat every time.
Hell, we elected this faggot and he's worse than Hillary.

>NY red.
only trips can confirm this

724 here. Fuck Gorilladelphia.

Keep up your father and grandfathers work, God speed

Dubs already confirmed this in the other thread

Related to my post; I'm coming in February to watch a Flyers game with my Timonen jersey, how BLM is the city?

...

Nothing a little meme magic can't fix

>trump will turn NY red

do you actually think that

please, bet money on this

>There's one tiny corner that's blue. The rest is blood red, faggot
Philly is blue
The burgh is blue
Erie is blue
State College is blue
Scranton is blue

Make no mistake, there's a lot of people living in the Pennsyltucky areas, but there's just not enough.

This.
Philly and the rural areas cancel each other out.
Then Pitt and Erie push the state over the edge toward the dems.
Every time.

>b-but we only need to see wing 5%!
And it's always been like that.
There simply isn't enough hicks in the state to swing it to Trump.

I've seen this same thing said about this state for over 2 decades now.
Every fucking election people say "OH WE CAN GET PA! IT'S GOING RED!"
It never does. It's just one of those states like Arizona that the dems think they can always get because it's always close but they never do.

He's awful but he only won because Corbett was fucking corrupt and terrible

PA might be slowly turning red for this election but it would only be temporarily. There is a major demographic shift happening with tons of Hispanics, blacks, and Arabs moving into northeastern/the poconos and eastern PA from NJ and NYC. Middle PA near Harrisburg and York is getting some of that diversity too. Pittsburgh is pretty liberal and cucked and Philadelphia is just all niggers.

I don't know what the demographics are like in the USA, but Nigel Farage at the RNC drew parallels with Brexit, as have done a lot of people. What made Brexit happen was that it mobilized a lot of people in the UK who don't usually vote because it connected with them on an emotional level. Donald Trump has a strong, visceral appeal, and as was seen at the primaries with the record turn out, he can mobilize people who usually don't care. The point I am making is I don't think previous elections are an infallible indication of which way the states will go.

GNU/York, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus York

Pittsburgh is the least liberal city I've ever been to and it still clearly has a left leaning bias.

I can't see the state going Red without the burgh.

Pic related is from a Trump rally in downtown pitt. The anti Trump crowd was far more energized than the supporters.

That's what the Trump crowd is hoping for.

Unfortunately, our electoral college system largely keeps this election within traditional norms.
Take Massachusetts for example. Even if every fucking redneck and registered republican came out to vote it wouldn't matter, because Boston and Springfield turn the state blue.
It's a very undemocratic system.

Pitt here, can confirm

General sentiment at the schools are very anti Trump, retarded blind liberalism

General sentiment outside of schools is that we're getting fucked either way

General sentiment in the hills is dumbass rednecks that like Trump but don't understand why

Scranton, what? THE ELECTRIC CITY! They call it that because of the electricity!

I'm in the south hills.

It's got Trump support here, but the closer I get to downtown, the more liberal it gets.

Good news is they're putting in a Whole Foods soon so at least I won't have to keep shopping at fucking Giant Eagle.

Wawa > GetGo > Sheetz

I'm taking the Brexit victory as a win and leaving the table. It's a good western victory.

But I have little hope for Trump.

Probably depends a lot on who you spend time with too. I was thinking about the conservatives that live out past South Park and places like that, as well as the christian conservatives with a ranch house and 1.5 kids out in the North Hills.

Where are they putting in a Whole Foods? I used to shop at Brentwood GE all the time and it's not terrible but sometimes I want some decent produce and not the garbage GE stocks

Sheetz > GetGo > whatever

I knew Pittsburgh was cucked but that protest showed how bad it really is

People spent all day standing outside harassing trump supporters which were mainly older people. Throwing things at them hitting and punching them. Screaming about facism while waving signs supporting socialism and Marxism. They burned American flags and tried to break into the arena where trump was speaking. Even some cops were assaulted. There were way more of them than trump supporters.

You can put some blame on Pitt University though because the rally was held there and that school is liberal as fuck. All my friends who went there ended up becoming tumblr-tier radical Marxists who hate capitalism.

Someone with horrible foresight.

I actually met a really cute girl who is going into nursing school recently. We hang out a lot. She's a huge trump fan.

Then again, I know a lot of liberals too.

The Whole Foods is going in on Washington Road across from the South Hills Village Mall.

>Pennsylvanians are conservative on 2 issues: Tobacco and Guns.
>tobacco
When the fuck did tobacco become a political point

We need it. We need it so bad. Brexit alone is nothing. Trump alone is nothing. Wikileaks alone is nothing. We need to keep defying the manipulation and deceit. We need to BTFO (((globalization))) at every possible opportunity. It's a force that's being pushed and pushed and pushed incrementally but constantly, and one little push back does nothing because it keeps coming and coming and coming. It's all in or nothing.

I'm just hoping nothing happens that produces riots in Pittsburgh. Can you imagine the disruption with all these shitty fucking bridges and our road net? Some days the city gridlocks for no reason, we have shit like the Liberty bridge being worked on now, it could take hours to get out of the city if a bunch of semi-violent protestors sat in on certain bridges downtown.

>all these burghians in this thread
Sup Forums meet up and drink up when? I want to talk about how much of a cuck Crosby is and how we don't need him at all.

Don't forget Manheim, Berlin, Denver, Lancaster, York, Paradise, Bird in Hand, Intercourse, Heidelburg, Indiana, Luzerne, Manchester, Lyons, Moscow, Nazareth, Oklahoma, Palmyra and Rome.

Also

That cuck tried to ban 30 round mags, fuck him.

All eyes now look to Frexit.

Where da frogs at in this thread?
This is your country's chance to redeem itself.

>Pittsburgh Sup Forums meet up
I'm down. This is the only city in the world where I can drink with strangers. Everyone here is so nice.

THIS. I never understood how much America influenced Europe until I lived in France for a year.

People (reluctantly of course) take so many cultural cues from America.
Living there I learned that if someone really wanted to change the political situation in Europe, they'd have to change the political situation in America, too.

America is looked up to in a sense---kind of like an invisible big brother.
What happens here definitely can influence people across the pond.
I think it's a bad thing (i.e. all the mudshark white chicks in Europe idolizing Kim Kardashian) but we have to work with it....which means Trump needs to win.

>NC
>Swing

This meme needs to stop

Nope. its red as the blood that will flow from every nigger liberals nose the day trump wins. and fuck your cuck trips. and your frog demon.

10 years ago:

Wawa >>>>> Sheetz

There's a town called Home and a town called Hometown. Also I forgot Blue Ball, lel.

It's not a meme

>Pennsylvanians are conservative on 2 issues: Tobacco and Guns.
>Everyone here hunts.

What? I know plenty of people in Philadelphia, and many in Pittsburgh, and even some in Wilkes-Barre, and this is total bullshit.

The dumbfuck rednecks in the middle of the state hunt a lot. But no one lives there. Even if you're on Interstate 80 in central Pennsylvania, you can go dozens of miles without a gas station. This is where the "everybody hunts" crowd lives - where no one lives.

1.5 million people live in Philadelphia county. Never mind its suburbs (800,000 people live right next door in Montgomery county). You put together 30 counties in the middle of the state, and they have less population than just Philadelphia county.

kek

Decent place for a rally though even if it was small.

There's also a St. Petersburg in Florida. Really puzzled me the first time I've read about it.

This is why we need to cede Philly to New Jersey

i live in rochester ny and goddamnit this isn't going to happen. nyc cucked this whole fucking state that votes gop up here into a blue state. it's a lost cause

You're a fucking idiot.
huntingpa.com/Deer stats.html

>NBC/WSJ

it's trashed

>This is where the "everybody hunts" crowd lives - where no one lives.

The trips speak Kek's truth.

Europe's glorification of multiculturalism is undoubtedly based on the United States of America, which is seen as a country founded on a multicultural principle -- e pluribus unum. It's such fucking horseshit.

There's more to it, obviously, but I've made the same observation you have. There's a weird link historically between the political situations in the US and the UK. You had Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan, who were similar in approach and politics, and Tony Blair and Bill Clinton, who were similar in approach and politics. I pray that the connections people have been made between Brexit and a Trump presidency are legitimate, and what we're seeing is a paradigm shift.

There's a Paris in : Ontario, Idaho, Iowa, Maine, New York and I think more than one in Ohio. I think back in the day people were more concerned about finding the shit than coming up with the name

Jew Yorker here.

NYC is half the state's population, expect 90% of the vote from here to go to Hillary.

Don't know about the rest of NYS but no one really gives a shit anyway.

>implying MI/PA are definitely blue

anons have already explained why this isn't the case this time

>hillary is pro TPP
>hillary is pro-enviro bullshit
>trump isn't "union buster" reagan
>the bradley effect

stay out of north philly. Flyers game will be in the far south, so you've got nothing to worry about

I live in southern Butler county, maybe 20 minutes outside the city. The first day of buck season is basically a school holiday since no one shows up and goes hunting instead. Including many girls.

axiomstrategies.com/abc/luzerne/

I'll just leave this here.

>hunting with bows
Always wanted to try. Sounds thrilling as fuck.

It's practically a school holiday in Lancaster, York, Lebanon, Dauphin and Franklin too. Basically anyone can get excused from school to go hunting. At my school, about 1/3 of the students would be absent.

Question about that map... is it number of hunters per square mile? Or number of hunters per 100 people? Can't read legend on tiny screen.

Because the percentage of people who hunt will be WAY higher than what that indicates throughout most of the western states. But there are no fucking people there until you hit California.

Number of hunters per square mile seems pretty dopey way to measure it.

Philadelphian here. Pennsylvania is the ultimate "it's just a prank bro" conservative fools gold state. Every single region between Philly and Pittsburgh is red as fuck. A large amount of PA is NRA members and 'pennsyltucky' repubs. It isn't enough though. There are too many niggers and faggots in Philly and Pitt to make it winnable.

pro-tip: the state hasn't been won since 1988 and won't be won this year as well

"Hunters Per Square Mile"

Yeah, it's per square mile, which is pretty dumb. Western states have much greater per capita concentration, but Pennsylvania has larger sheer numbers. I just couldn't believe the unmitigated stupidity of that idiot who thinks there aren't many hunters in PA.

This.

Expecting PA to go red is like expecting Georgia to go Blue

NC fag here, worked in campaigns for Helms, Broyhoill. Myrick, Martin, McCrory, Vinroot, Coble, Faircloth, etc.

NC has foten bluer, but without the Obama-effect on black precinct turnout, it is likely to still be pretty red. That said, McCrory has mishandled this HB2 shit, and managed to really energize a lot of the left here. Whether the right wil be similarly energized remains to be seen, but I would not be surprised if McCrory had negative coattails up-ballot.

NC is in play.

It is.

Lots of big cities, considerable black population and Hispanic population.

NC could go either way

Lots of biblical place names in the US.

Stupid fucking legacy democrats in Pittsburgh. It goes like this.
"Muh dad worked in the steel mills and he voted democrat and his dad voted democrat and his dad too. I work at Sheetz but I'm gonna vote democrat like my family does."

>Pennsylvania has larger sheer numbers.

Which means shit unless they are also a substantial fraction of the vote.

>There are 1 million hunters!!!! That's a lot!!!!
>They are 2% of the voting population... Never mind...

I live in Bradford county, we actually get school off for it, officially

Is Erie named after the Lake Erie or is the Lake named after the city?

Yorkfag here. I walk around in my MAGA hat and people cheer. Granted, York is blood red except when the Dems bus the blacks around and have them each vote in every district.

Hillary has alienated coal country so badly that both the union members AND the union bosses despise her. That's a big chunk of Democrat lever-pullers that just had a huge red suppository shoved up their asses. That also bleeds over into Ohio and rural NY.

Phillie and Pittsburgh also have a lot of college kids who are probably Berniebros. They're completely alienated at this point.

Furthermore, if we keep circulating the bit about Hillary wanting to ban all guns under the guise of "common sense legislation" we can turn a lot more people red. PA, regardless of partisan alignment, loves guns as much as Texas. Maybe more. The first day of buck season may as well be a holiday, no one goes to work or school that day.

See this in the South as well -- called Yeller Dog Democrats," because they'd vote for an ol' yeller dog if he was on the ballot as a Democrat.

Essentially, it's like being a Cowboys fan or some such -- as long as he has your uniform on, he's on your team.

dos.pa.gov/VotingElections/OtherServicesEvents/VotingElectionStatistics/Pages/default.aspx
Nealry 9 million registered voters, and about 6 million who voted in the last two election cycles. 750,000 people hunted (deer) in 2015. Of course, not ever hunter is a registered voter, but these numbers are for comparison, and it's nothing to sneeze at.

No, that's a number you can do stuff with.

The trick then becomes convincing them that Hillary is a threat to hunting, and making them vote based on that. Overcoming the "yeller dog" effect is difficult...

lake erie got its name from the erie tribe, so im assume erie is named after the lake

>Named for the lake and the Native American tribe that resided along its southern shore.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erie,_Pennsylvania

Only because of Philly + Pitt

Everywhere else is red AF

I'm originally from Indiana, PA. Can confirm, Thanksgiving through mid December schools are half empty all the time due to kids going hunting.
