i love finland

Yes. I want Japan to give me his cock.

Japan made several of my all time favorite games, so yes

I love finland

ARIGATO

my lower body says yes
:D

Me:.........no
My dick: YES !

I'm so sorry tho we don't like tiny dick(._.)

WHAT?
Can't you masturbate with a small dick?
i can do it

I both hate and love Japan.
On one hand they made my favourite games - Dark Souls, Metal Gear, Devil May Cry etc etc, but they also make some of the most degenerate and disgusting animes.

Though I really like Japanese food. It's certainly not the best but still incredibly good. '

And I think Japan has a pretty rich traditional culture, despite it's relative isolation through history. Shintoism, samurai, shoguns etc.

Plus some animes are pretty good. Though I still dislike the medium on a whole.

Overal I really like Japan, it's certainly one of the best nations in Asia and easily the best in East Asia.

But I've always wondered, what do Japanese people think of the Dutch? Do you like us?
Some animes reference the Netherlands, for example the Dutch guy from Samurai Champloo and historically, the Dutch and Japanese have always been bros since the Dutch were the only nation that could trade inside Japan because we only wanted trade, not power or sending missionaries.

So, what do Japanese people think of the Dutch?

No.
And fuck weeaboo cucks too.

And also pic related,
Both the Dutch and the Japanese have "Meidos"

>Dutch
taller. That's all.

i love Empire of Japan
ALL HEIL TENNO

but I wanna know about Netherlands

oh,masturbation thing(^^)

I love Finland more.

Taller? That's it?
Anything else, maybe? Jews hate Arabs, Greeks hate Turks, etc etc
Surely you have a bigger of the Dutch than "they're tall"

>but I wanna know about Netherlands
You can always visit the Netherlands. We have some incredible cities, structures and sights. Geography is boring and flat but we have a long and rich history and culture.

Pic related, it's our royal palace on Dam square in Amsterdam.

Fucking doublepost

I LOVE YOU JAPAN

It's a wonderful building. :3

I like japan :)

No, they make shit games

Do you mean Shiburin is disgusting?
DO NOT MAKE ME ANGRY FRIEND

>It's a wonderful building. :3
>The several sculptures too.
Thanks friend, it's a pretty important landmark too - it's literally in the exact center of the city of Amsterdam. We're pretty proud of it. Pic related is my favourite landmark of Japan, an medievel, gigantic castle on a quiet mountain top. Sounds peaceful too.

Ah who cares, I'd love to show you around the country. Since the Netherlands is a pretty small country, you can visit most of the nation in just a few days. My personal tip, while Amsterdam and other large cities have beautiful sights and are filled with people, the countryside is much better. Peaceful, quiet and no immigrants. You'd love it.

I want to visit Tokyo.

Yes.

...

When I visited Osaka and Kyoto, I was impressed by many old buildings and temples.
It's hard to see old buildings that I like in Korea.

You are nice dude!
I definitely will go to there!

As these are very high quality building and sculptures, when I saw it, I felt that the people of the Netherlands have a deep attachment to it. :3

There are many old castle and buildings in Japan, but maintaining them is very hard.

However, as the Japanese have a deep attachment to them, Japanese continue to maintain them.

So, when I saw that picture, I was really touched.

> Pic related is my favourite landmark of Japan, an medievel, gigantic castle on a quiet mountain top.

Himeji castle!! XD
As it had never been exposed to large-scale warfare and suffered heavy damage since it was built, we could save the castle as it was.

As in the photo, a lot of cherry blossoms have been blooming around the Himeji castle since ancient times.

교토 관광하기 좋냐? 우리나라나 미국으로 치면 경주나 보스턴일거 같은 느낌인데

I LOVE JAPAN!!

It's Heidelberg castle, built in the 1200s the castle is known as the most important Rennesaince style castle north of the Alps.
It's unknown who originally had the castle built. Possibly a powerful duke or prince. The castle had many owners throughout history. Some took it by force, others bought it and sometimes it was given away.
Today, the castle is a tourist attraction.

In Germany, owners of castles can buy and sell castles...
I was very surprised to hear it. :o

In Japan, each castles was owned by "hanshu(藩主)" who is a king in the country.

In Japan, as long as there were no problem, the owner of the castle never changed.
(excluding age of civil war)

Because the castle was the property of the house and also a pride.

When modernization of Japan was done about 200 years ago(in the Meiji era), all the castles owner were changed to local government.

The castle of the general were changed the palace of the Japanese emperor.

Thank you Sweden! XD
I love sooooooooooooo much!

>Thank you so much for writing in detail. :D
No problem friend

>In Germany, owners of castles can buy and sell castles...
Not that it happened often though. You have to remember that it was very rare.
From Romans to WW2, Germany has seen many wars. In Medievel Europe, we had a system where the ruler of the land provides protection to the people and the people give the ruler food they grow on their farms and fight with him during wars.

But this system meant that rulers had to actually be able to protect the people if they wanted to stay in power. So when a war looked bad, a ruler could potentially sell his castle to the enemy and use the money to live a comfortable life. Whereas if he didn't do that, the enemy would capture him, kill him and still take his castle and land.

But it didn't happen often, Germany has millions of castles. Some of these were built by religious rulers rather than political ones. One castle was even built because the ruler wanted to live as far away from the people as possible, since he was extremely introverted (this castle: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neuschwanstein_Castle)

>In Japan, each castles was owned by "hanshu(藩主)" who is a king in the country.
Hmm, that's how it was in Europe aswel.
Germany and Japan actually had a similair system of government. As you probably know, Japan had the Emperor, who didn't have any real power, and the Clans/Shogun that did have power.
In Germany, the emperor had little power aswel. The actual power was with the rulers of each province/city. Pretty similair.

>Because the castle was the property of the house and also a pride.
That was originally the case in Europe aswel. But Europe saw so many different rulers, wars and castles that they lost that purpose. The emperor of Germany had, if I remember correctly, 500 castles.

>When modernization of Japan was done about 200 years ago(in the Meiji era), all the castles owner were changed to local government.
Yeah it's pretty sad to be honest.

sauce?

yes

Thank you.
I could know German history very much.

> we had a system where the ruler of the land provides protection to the people and the people give the ruler food they grow on their farms and fight with him during wars.

I think that this point is very different from Japan.

In Japan, "hanshu(藩主)" (rulers and administrative officials) only changed, and farmers were rarely directly damaged.

Perhaps, in the case of Japan, since there was almost one ethnic group (some of the Kyushu resion was ethnic and racial different), even if the people whose governed changed, the damage to the farmers was rare.

> Whereas if he didn't do that, the enemy would capture him, kill him and still take his castle and land.

In Japan, If a country lose the war, the king either had to surrender the castle, or kill oneself (Seppuku).

I have not heard of money selling castles.
(Possibly there may be cases of a small castle)

> since he was extremely introverted
> (this castle: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neuschwanstein_Castle)

Because Neuschwanstein Castle looks like a castle of Disney animation, it is popular in Japan.
But when I read the reasons why it was built, I laughed a bit.

Is this the girl with the massive gun?

What anime is she from?

I can depends how nice you are.

Do you want to find love in Japan?

>In Japan, "hanshu(藩主)" (rulers and administrative officials) only changed, and farmers were rarely directly damaged.
You mean during war? Didn't rulers in Japan employ farmers, or other civilians, during time of war? Going back to the Roman empire, European armies always employed civilians.

>Perhaps, in the case of Japan, since there was almost one ethnic group (some of the Kyushu resion was ethnic and racial different), even if the people whose governed changed, the damage to the farmers was rare.
I agree 100%, that's pretty much what I'm guessing aswel. Europe has multiple ethnic groups and cultures and with so many foreign invasions, its warfare is bound to be different.

>In Japan, If a country lose the war, the king either had to surrender the castle, or kill oneself (Seppuku)
What happened in Japan to the king? Exiled? Imprisoned? I know that the emperor of China was allowed to keep a small kingdom in Mongolia while in France, the king ended up losing his head, literally. So, what happened to kings in Japan that lost their power?

>Because Neuschwanstein Castle looks like a castle of Disney animation, it is popular in Japan
The castle itself? That's really cool.
Funny that you mention Disney, this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleeping_Beauty_Castle is probably the castle you mean, right?
Like that page mentions, the famous Disney castle is actually based on Neuschwanstein

>But when I read the reasons why it was built, I laughed a bit.
The king who had it built, Ludwig II, actually ended up getting the nickname "mad king Ludwig" because of his antisocial personality.

But he's actually a good example of what we're discussing, Ludwig became king of Bavaria at the age of 18 but when Germany unified into an empire, he decided to give up his kingdom. He didn't lose it in a war, he wasn't forced to abdicate, he literally didn't like being king and simply gave his kingdom to the German emperor so that he could live a peaceful life at Neuschwanstein.

> In Germany, the emperor had little power aswel.
> The actual power was with the rulers of each province/city.
> Pretty similair.

I had thought that German empero has both authority and power.
But fortunately, also I can know that in the medieval German, authority and power were separated same as Japan now.

> But Europe saw so many different rulers,
> wars and castles that they lost that purpose.

I think that Japan was very lucky in this respect.
As Japan is surrounded by the ocean, it was difficult that foreign enemies invade.

> The emperor of Germany had, if I remember correctly, 500 castles.

In the Warring States period, It is said that there were about 25,000 castles in Japan, but there are only about 200 remaining now.
(Including castles like fort and only material)

Castles which have extant a castle towers are only 12.

ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/日本の城一覧

> Yeah it's pretty sad to be honest.

I think that cost of maintaining a castle is so high that they can't pay it.
However, many samurai's families line still survive.

>I had thought that German empero has both authority and power.
The state of Germany underwent many changes throughout the years. From ~950 to 1806, Germany was called the Holy Roman Empire and had 100s of small kingdoms, duchies and states. These 100s of states had their own rulers and while the Holy Roman Empire had an emperor, this emperor hardly had any power. In 1871, these states are unified as the German Empire. The emperor of that Germany did have actual power.

>authority and power were separated same as Japan now.
Exactly, the German emperor (of the holy roman empire) had authority but each state had their own government. Sometimes these states even went to war. In Europe, it's called the "Trias Politica" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Separation_of_powers or, seperation of powers.

>As Japan is surrounded by the ocean, it was difficult that foreign enemies invade.
I completely agree. Add to that that China ruled the coast, Japan had a sea and an entire on the coast to protect itself. In the end, England is an Island aswel but England has no empire to seperate itself from its enemies so historically, many groups invaded or attempted to invade, England.

>In the Warring States period, It is said that there were about 25,000 castles in Japan, but there are only about 200 remaining now.
That's pretty sad, honestly. But history goes on, nothing lasts forever I guess.

>ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/日本の城一覧
Seems like an interesting page, though, I have no idea what it says lol.

>However, many samurai's families line still survive.
Really? I remember reading that some influential companies such as Mitsubishi originate from powerful clans (the so called, "Zaibatsu" if I recal correctly) but samurai lineages aswel?

What I love about Japan:
>Rich culture and history
>Epic food
>Quality Tech and Games
>Anime, no gerne, just the invention in general
>Unbelievebly rich and complicated language I only could wish to have the power to understand
>Asian girls are good looking at least

What I hate about Japan:
>complex, sometimes unlogical social rules
>Extremelx long working hours, workaholic culture
>High School Pressure
>Xenophobia
>Big amount of people who are suicidal
>Strange mafia of which nobody can say if they're good or bad but they have their roots everywhere.

While some Japs are still here, what do you think about Germany (Pro's and Con's)?
Would you agree with me or are these things based on stereotypes?

>Extremelx long working hours, workaholic culture
Ironic, coming from a German lol

That's a stereotype, most germans nowadays are just as lazy like everyone else, but we still have lots of rules... Like the >ARBEITERSCHUTZGESETZ and >JUGENDSCHUTZGESETZ

> You mean during war? Didn't rulers in Japan employ farmers, or other civilians, during time of war?

Certainly there was a sacrifice.
Samurai's looting also occurred.
However, there weren't to genocide and to be chased of land by other king and interracial people.

I am sorry to make a misunderstanding expression.

> What happened in Japan to the king? Exiled? Imprisoned? I know that the emperor of China was allowed to keep a small kingdom in Mongolia while in France, the king ended up losing his head, literally. So, what happened to kings in Japan that lost their power?

If I remember correctly, in the age of civil wars, most of kings were suicided (seppuku).

There was also a king who escaped suicide, sometimes he died at the expulsion destination.

Many of his subordinate were rehired by another king.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleeping_Beauty_Castle is probably the castle you mean, right?

Yes it is. : )

> He didn't lose it in a war, he wasn't forced to abdicate, he literally didn't like being king and simply gave his kingdom to the German emperor so that he could live a peaceful life at Neuschwanstein.

In Japan, in Meiji piriod, all king were retired.
(They escaped suicide)

>Asian calling another Asian small dicked
I'm not one for "Muh dick" but none of you even have the right

> these states are unified as the German Empire.
> The emperor of that Germany did have actual power.

In Japan, the shogun(king of kings) and kings were retired by Japanese goverment.

And Japanse government grabed power instead to the last shogun, Japanese govrement had the actually power.
The enperor had few authority.

> I remember reading that some influential companies such as Mitsubishi originate
> from powerful clans (the so called, "Zaibatsu" if I recal correctly)
> but samurai lineages aswel?

MITSUBISHI was started by Yataro Iwasaki .
He is a samurai's son which have low status.

Jpanese prime minister Abe is Also samurai's descendants.
The king of Kumamoto-ken (Kingdom) became a Japanese prime minister in the past.
(Morihiro Hosokawa)

Of course, Shogun's descendants is remain.
