Okay Sup Forums, why is it that Japan is facing the same issues as the west regarding birth rates despite not going through the same societal changes such as feminism, social justice and of course Jewish involvement?
This honestly makes me believe that the state the west is in is just the natural conclusion of continued development. Japan was the first non-European nation to reach similar development levels of the west, it was the first nation that could go toe-to-toe with European powers in the Russo-Japanese war etc. I don't think it's a coincidence that Japan faces similar problems as us.
To me it seems like this problem is brought about when countries become too developed for their own good and people become too comfortable and decadent.

Because the areas with ideal (well-paying jobs, etc.) measures of improvement are massively overcrowded and places with more room have been left to decay.
That is, Japan overcentralized and is now greying rapidly, which will continue until populations get more elbow room in the cities. It's not a matter of comfort and decadence, it's a matter of DISCOMFORT instead- an already small country packing itself into an even smaller space in the name of prosperity. The lower birth rate is the backlash.

A few reasons.
First, Japan is a homogenous society, which makes Western values impossible to gain a foothold. Japan is extremely traditionalist and reputation/status is everything. Due to the Japanese mentality of "the greater good", they all slave away 80 hours per week, so they can go home to their tiny apartment. Not to mention that they go out for drinks with their colleagues.
They dont have "lives" in that sense and even women have to work work work.
So essentially the women are worked to death, which kills their libido and their femininity.
Second reason is quite simple.
Japan has had this trend for a long time and they have been preparing by investing in technology and robotics research. So they wont just open their borders and import millions, since by geography island nations are protected from foreign intrusion.
Another reason is the pressure on young men in Japan to "deliver" and become successful. Alot of Otakus (NEETs) and suicides are common place in Japan. Not to mention the newest trend of "herbivores", where up to 30% of 30 year old Japanese men are virgins.
Men simply are becoming less samurai and more and more anime faggots.
Population denisity is also an issue.

The Japanese family model, if you can call it that, is a husband who has a stable high income job and who supports a stay-at-home wife who raises the children.
A few things have happened recently, however. One is the collapse of stable jobs: the modern Japanese economy has become more like teh US or Germany, with the great mass of young people being stuck in low-paying work. So they don't feel like they can start a family, and don't.
The other is that women have started entering the workforce, and resent their subservient role. Once you've worked a few years and have had money to spend on fun things like travel, being a stay-at-home mother is not appealing. So they prefer to stay single into their thirties.
What would have to happen, is for the Japanese to accept that you can start a family without real job security, and without needing the woman to give up her own life in sacrifice. Either that, or be replaced by robots or whatever.
