when you browse Sup Forums you never leave

>left libertarian

Oxymoron. Can't believe in liberty if you reject property rights and the NAP.

Take the redpill and join the paleolibertarians.

Nice meme

I ain't an anarcho commie. I'm just left leaning, I.E. I support free trade and equality of opportunity. I think my dot is slowly migrating to the right tho with all the red pills I've been taking

Watch out of the poison in the pill. (racism, sexism, etc...)

You sound like me fifteen years ago.

Sorry to hear op.
We're all in the same baot here.

damnit
boat*

It's good thing I'm out of hs or else I'd be completely jumping on the neonazi train.

Started browsing Sup Forums as a left leaning liberal/socialist with some conservative tendencies.

Still the same way today, but just understand we need a gradual shift to the right before reactionaries fuck over the world.

tl:dr is real lightweight stuff. If you wanna get redpilled you listen to William Luther Pierce. Here you go:

The origins of neoreaction are plainly libertarian/leftist intellectuals who just went a little bit too far, and the entire Western perspective stopped being satisfying. I've seen this happen to loads of people online. The forms that neoreaction are taking are full of problems, still inundated in Western ideologies, but there is something new coming I have a feeling.

You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave.

Slavery was a mistake. The Dutch fucked us over with the slave trade and we were stupid enough to bring them over by the hundreds of thousands. Now we're stuck with them.

Equality can only exist in a very abstract sense, such as equality under the law. This since equality does not exist anywhere biologically, or with respect to people's past history, etc.

What do you mean exactly by neoreactionary? I'm not familiar with the term. And I feel that left leaning libertarians will push out this stupid ass cult of victim hood currently dominating leftist perspective.

Equality of opportunity is basically the only type of equality that can be achieved. It isn't perfect but it can't be. All we can do is make the playing field more or less even and allow everyone to succeed from there.

Also, you can't be a libertarian etc if you believe in democracy, or rather you can't obtain it.
Realistically the most free system is an absolute monarchy:

If you understand this,
you'll automatically fall into the center
(and avoid the red pill overdose becoming overly right).

Lot to sift through but he and Nick Land are two of the more prominent examples

Came here to read happening threads and troll Nazis
Now I read Molburg and troll Libertarians

I don't necessarily agree. Monarchy can be good. If the ruling class don't become douchebags like say, France's did before it was destroyed by the French Revolution. I think that liberal democracy promotes the values of libertarianism better because it, theoretically, limits the possibility of tyrannical monarchs. In interesting to hear why you think that monarchy is better objectively however.

Hoppe made an argument for traditional Monarchy over democracy in the first video I linked, about 31 minutes in. Basically comparing democratic leaders with someone who rents a property, and monarchs with someone who owns the property, and he concludes the one who owns it will care more about the value of the property (the country).

are you fucking dumb

Neo-Reactionary aka NRx aka The Dark Enlightenment is a wombo combo of 2 redpills

1. Different ethnic groups have different mean IQs, and this explains differences in outcome (crime rates, income, welfare dependence, etc)

2. The two most important components of a successful civilization are the rule of law and the free market. Democracy is not always the optimal form of government to safeguard these attributes.

Get off Sup Forums and read some Molburg.

Peter Schiff is the fucking bomb

It will all be over soon.

I can kind of see what he's saying. But then what happens if a monarch is an utter imbecile? There is nothing inherently wrong with a ruling class, I don't necessarily think term limits are a good thing. But in a monarchy the only way to fix a shitty or corrupt leader is a revolution. Not ideal.

>left libertarian

True. You always come back.

>fought a revolution against the British Crown to get lower taxes
>immediately got higher taxes instead
>later got a massive welfare state, affirmative action, subsidized third-world immigration, quasi imperial foreign policy, massive surveillance state

Keep telling me about how democracy leads to libertarian ideas.

listen to Christopher Cantwell and you will be radicalized in no time.

LEL

how old are you?

grow the fuck up pussy

we all had our libertarian phase 3 years ago

Regressives aren't libertarian, they're authoritarian. They aren't even really liberals. Hence the term regressive

I'm no expert on the history, but I believe usually the monarchs who over-stepped got murdered by the nobles who then took over, not by some people's revolution.
Sort of interesting talk on the topic of monarchy and law in the middle ages: youtube.com/watch?v=taOtILh3yXg

I don't know what form of monarchy would be best, some have proposed some sort of meritocratic aristocracy. But hereditary monarchy is the simplest and has the most obvious benefits and would be easier to predict the outcome of.

Democracy instill what people want. If people want a totalitarian asshole they get a totalitarian asshole.

....if for no other reason hereditary monarchy is what has been most comon

Fuck off edgelord, don't insult people who are still in the redpill process.

Very nice to see that you keep lurking from time to time OP

Eh. I think a Victorian Britian style of governance might be workable. Again, I don't have a problem with a ruling class, just a lack of checks and balances

I think democracy is perhaps decent in giving the average person or many people a better life, at least in the short-term but in the long term it seems to lead to ruin. Considering a few people are more capable at producing wealth for example, then for the majority to vote to take some of that wealth and give it to those who are less capable would be a rather obvious way of getting ahead for most.

But since 1 vote is unlikely to impact the outcome of an election, it doesn't make sense to invest much time into figuring out what would be a good politician or what exactly would be good policy, but rather it makes "sense" to vote for whatever candidate one feels is the coolest, the nicest, or the most "moral" since this gives a very definite result/benefit to the individual doing the voting. Democracy, I think it is apparent, becomes a way for humans to appease their tribal, moral, and whatever else emotions they have. Politics is sort of fun, as we all know.

Me too. I was very liberal up until last year. I have been so disgusted with the insanity coming out of the left that I decided to distance myself. Each day I wake up I am a little more conservative and hate the left a little more.

I never would have thought in a million years that I would one day be proudly right wing.

Why be redpilled slowly?

You realize you're only lying to yourself and living a fake existence if you dont pursue the Truth?

The half lived life is not worth living.
Refuse to round down.

Perhaps democracy is more stable in some ways, until it isn't. Until it becomes a population largely inhabited by third-worlders, "Allahu Akbar!", and a more virile set of ideals take over.

I don't see how an absolute Monarch would come to the conclusion that massive third world immigration, a massive welfare-state, and bombing of said third-world nations, would be a good idea. I think most people in that position would have the foresight to realize that it might spell disaster for the decades or hundreds of years ahead with regards to the wealth of the nation and security of one's lineage.
Whereas in the democratic setting the attitude might be more along the line of "In the long run we are all dead, let me sell out my country to the highest bidders, and hand out plenty of favors so I can make plenty of friends, because I can not directly take the little money it would require me to become really rich since I do not own this country" and for everyone at large: "Egalitarianism sure feels good, with this vote I can now proudly trumpet my political affiliation to all my friends to show how good and moral I am".

I don't think it's even possible to go from liberal faggotism to hardcore hitlerism in less than a month. When I first got introduced to WLP I had to shut the broadcast off, because I literally felt sick. Then I returned a couple days later, and so on.

I was clever for my age. Clever people are rarely happy.
Now I'm clever and redpilled. I just want to die already.

>left libertarian

Nice oxymoron.
