Overrated af

Was that the closest thing to a pan-slavic empire? Can't think of anything closer

...

Not at all, slavic nationalism didnt exist back then. It was started by Russians in the 19th century to weaken Austria Hungary, Germany and the Ottomans so it doesnt even apply

Don't know too much about the Gauls, but I've never even heard of the Palmyrene Empire

>couldn't even counquer some fucking fishing villages
>""""""""""empire""""""""""
Don't encourage the WE WUZ cancer please. Sweden was always a fucking snownigger cancer country without any value.

Best empire ever

The Gallic and Palmyrene Empires were basically countries that seceded from the Roman Empire after the crisis in the third century where there were 26 different claimants to the Roman throne

...

Sweden was a crucial player in the 30 Years' War, and likely altered the course of history by helping pave the way for Protestants being accepted in Europe.

What's with the dot in Japan?

Dra åt helvete arabjävel.

Don't respond to the polish nationalist diaspora.

>by helping pave the way for Protestants being accepted in Europe.
And how did that turn out?

Häng dig ultima thule conny.

t.albo beta who makes all the anti scandinavian threads

Isnt the name a misnomer though? They didnt consider themselves Gauls over being Roman, they just had a different general claiming to emperor or am I wrong?

The Portuguese were the first Europenises to set up a trading post in Japan.

They were the first Europeans to get there.

They helped the Japonese and even managed to make some of them Catholic, but the Japonese were just taking advantage to get their technology. Later they persecuted and killed the Jesuits and the Japonese catholics.

Finland is maybe the most overated country in Sup Forums. Not even overstating.

The big Northern war fuck them in the ass
It was the war that allow Russia to be a superpower

There is even a movie about the Jesuits who were persecuted.

Cuckholdery

agreed
a finnish girl broke my heart in 2010 and I have never forgotten it

>no colonies
>empire

Yeah it kind of is, more of a modern invention. However, the emperor and the population were Latin speaking Gauls so it was a sort of Gallic empire even if they mostly identified as Romans

>a fucking local empire
>underrated

>how did that turn out?
Well? I dunno what you're talking about. Thanks to that acceptance we didn't see religious wars and inquisitions going on throughout all of the west for centuries onward. Had it not happened things could have been a lot worse. We might still be under the bootheel of the pope.

british empire was huge but look at all the shit countries we had
fuck africa

DATS NIGGASAKI, LOOK IT UP!!!

>closest thing to a pan-slav empire
Austria-Hungary and Ottoman Empire closest than Poland-Lithuania to Pan-Slav empire. Ironicly Russian empire was closest thing to a Pan-Turkic Turan empire than anything.

>silence
Good taste

>"Japanese slave women were even sold as concubines to Asian lascar and African crewmembers, along with their European counterparts serving on Portuguese ships trading in Japan, mentioned by Luis Cerqueira, a Portuguese Jesuit, in a 1598 document. Japanese slaves were brought by the Portuguese to Macau, where some of them not only ended up being enslaved to Portuguese, but as slaves to other slaves, with the Portuguese owning Malay and African slaves, who in turn owned Japanese slaves of their own"

How can animefags even recover?
