Was the bombing in Manchester related to the season premiere?

Just finished all four episodes. This is a bit of a clusterfuck and not in any kind of good way. Retarded Coop is just aggravating. 4 episodes in and barely none of Twin Peaks.

JUST STARTED EPISODE 3

WISH ME LUCK LADS I'M GOING IN

I love Lynch but let's be honest, none of you have ANY idea what's going on in his works. Me included but that's just one of the reasons why I love him. These four episodes fucked my head so badly I love it.

If the camera picked up the ghost in the box, wouldn't it also record cooper floating?

Do you think the new show will be understandable without watching FWWM? Ive watched the first 2 episodes and its fine so far. Is there anything indicating stuff from the movie will come into play?

Anybody else here unironically think Jeffries is the most interesting character in all of twin peaks?

LYNCHED

YOU ARE NOT READY MY FRIEND

you wont be able to even understand it if you watched all of it 50 times

See FAQ

The ring and blue rose come into play during the third and fourth episodes.

no you fucking idiot. Why don't you just watch fwwm? It's great.

>Is there anything indicating stuff from the movie will come into play?

The ring, the arm and Phillip Jeffries.

What the fuck is happening in this show? I have no clue but I love it! David Lynch is so amazing

he might have been that black fog around the monster, though I really don't know

we know so little about him and Judy, I'm still convinced Bowie is going to get a cameo. Did you pick up what Albert meant at the end of episode 4 about saying something to Jeffries? I was kind of confused

Is the woman Gordon was talking about Audrey?

...

No, it's Wally Brandon.

HELLLOoOOoOoooooo

Come on, for the most part you should be able to get what is going on if you watched the original series

guessing either Annie or Sarah Palmer

not the person you're responding to, but what was the deal with the arm? Im drawing a blank on that one.

Yes, the movie is necessary. It already has the ring and Philip Jeffries. Harry Dean Stanton is in it at some point.

>Twin Peaks
>not in Twin Peaks

Fuck you Lynch.

lol what a redditpost

HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

The cameras take pictures automatically at certain intervals.

>come to Sup Forums to see the response to Twin Peaks revival after a long absence from the board
>check the last five threads of /tpg/
>literally every thread consists of:
>"LYNCH'ed!!!!"
>"gb2 Game of Thrones, you brainlet! this show is only for intellectuals!"
>"COMFY FAGS BTFO"
>"haha SJWs got LYNCHED"
>"boy im glad Lynch made an all white cast" even though there's a black woman in ep 3
>"brainlet brainlet brainlet!!"
>tons of people pretending they understand literally everything that's going on even though Lynch keeps things intentionally uninterpretable
>"this is so kinoesque woow"
>"IT DOESN'T GET ANY BLUER HAHA, IT'S FUNNIER THE MORE I POST IT"
>"Lynch is an auteur, you just don't understand! KINO!"
>"uhhhhhh normie reddit normie"
I really enjoyed the revival but this board is fucking embarrassing.

reminder to redirect all newfags to FAQ when they keep asking the same question over and over and over and over and over.

Why do so many people ask this stupid fucking question? You should watch FWWM for its own sake. It's probably my favourite Lynch film and is generally one of my all time favourites, and there have already been numerous references to the film in this season already.

Stop being a pleb and watch it.

Is Bob even possessing Cooper anymore?
When we see Leland murdering Laura and Maddy he is crazy, bloodthirsty monster, not to mention they even swap the characters during these scenes.
Cooper is casually assassinating people like a cunning, soulless creature.

It's obviously Diane. Annie has been BOBED, Sarah doesn't really make sense and Diane knows him better than Audrey would.

Was desperate for that coffee to wake up Cooper from his dementia state.

lynch'd

>the glass box represents a tv
>the dude waiting for something to happen is viewers waiting for the revival
>the monster breaking out and killing the dude and his gf represents Lynch totally fucking over his audience

>she is also not present at all in the final episode of S2
They shot a scene with Josie's head peaking out of the curtains for the final episode of S2. it was ultimately cut, but Lynch intended her to be stuck in the lodge as all the other victims of Bob.

>There is no reference to Josie in the final script at all. However, in 1993 at the first fan run Twin Peaks Fest, Frank Silva was asked about BOB's relation to Josie: "He took her away to the Red Room, I think basically..."

>Amazingly, Frank then added: "..If you notice, in the Red Room...you do see Josie's body, You don't see her face, but you see her body sticking out of the Red Room curtains. In the series... Joan Chen wasn't available at the time, so we had to get around that! There was a double of Joan Chen, but you just saw the body and her head was outside the Red Room. If you look in the Red Room, you see Josie's body, the last outfit that she had on, you'll see that body with that outfit...and her head is sticking outside the red wall...

>The scene was filmed but it never made the episode as transmitted. Cut by David Lynch for reasons he'll probably never explain. Robert Engels even talks about the scene (even alluding to the fact that the footage has been lost) in Wrapped In Plastic issue 58: "Oh yeah. It doesn't exist anywhere, but there was. I'd have to look at my notes, but I would say there was."

>we present to you six never before published stills of Josie's double (wearing the same nightgown from episode 23). Josie was shot (apparently just from behind) with her head stuck in the curtains. Between two worlds, her face manifesting itself in The Great Northern. We know thanks to Rob and Richard that:"Those shots appear around the same time as when they were filming Cooper running from one end of the Red Room to the other..."

Your post has actually degraded the quality of the discussion even further than those examples you mentioned.

Please, share some actually good Twin Peaks discussion with us so that we may stop being embarassing to you.

Cooper just happened to appear in the box while the guy was outside with Tracy.

Give me the most "out there" theory you have so far.

HAHA OMG I LOVE TWIN PEAKS. DAMN GOOD COFFEE XD HAHAHAH

what's their endgame?

This.

Yeah. I get the feeling that the doppelganger is something completely separate from BOB. Even though that whole reflection thing in the end of s2.

>Cooper trapped for 25 year in the Black Lodge
>Meanwhile his doppelganger, together with Bob, have been on a murder spree across America
>Cops investigating another of Bob's murders in the city Doppelcooper is shown to be in
>Time to for Cooper to leave, but will require doppelganger to return
>He makes a plan for tricking Cooper's soul into returning to a different body, so that he may stay
>Cooper comes back mindfucked after sitting in a chair and talking to spirits for 25 years, but to the wrong body
>FBI and twin peaks PD investigating what's happened to Cooper

is it really that hard?

desu what porn star has a voice like lucy
makes me diamonds

People like you are worse. Why do you feel the need to virtue signal to everyone? Just leave and never come back.

Speak for yourself desu, Lynch is easy to read on a lot of stuff. Still masterful though.

Nah, the scene is about what Lynch thinks should happen when the viewer doesn't give due attention to a film and instead are only in it for the Netflix and chill

Getting outmaneuvered by eldritch horrors.

watch everything

this. It is like a bunch of toddlers spewing words they heard from adults over and over.

When did you realize that Reddit is the superior site for film discussion?

Death

Mine is that Evil Coop is plotting to nuke the Black Lodge

autist coop is fake coop bad coop is real coop

I hope so, I love Audrey. Though it might not be her, there are a few characters that know Coops a lot better than her.

HEEELLLLOOooooOOOOO

Ah I see. That makes much more sense.

hmmm really makes me think

I mean there is a lot of abstract stuff going on in his films but there absolutely is concrete stories being told. I'm not gonna pretend I understand all the imagery of the new season but I haven't had that hard of a time following whats going on

This guy sums it up nicely

There are no "motifs". Is this your first Lynch experience?

the next episode will see tamara preston receiving images of dale cooper floating inside the box shortly before the being massacred the two fornicators

inb4 Diane is LAURA DERN

seriously.
it's fucking pathetic.
fucking fangurls

mfw this post

Yeah man I love censorship and hive minded group think and I love being banned for having an opinion that doesn't follow the established narrative

I just saw the first 4 episodes, holy shit its good.are we agreeing on this?

HELLLOOOOOooooo-OOOOOO!

jesus fucking christ

Its a show made for reddit, what did you think?

That is accurate btw, there are HUGE rumors about the nuclear explosion Lynch staged for the season 3 shoot

glad these types got btfo the water

>someone isn't paying attention to a dumb movie
>so they should be violently mutilated and have their faces gouged out
How do we lock Lynch up?

>Coop, from inside the Lodge, sees BobCoop driving down a road
>before he can do anything, Doppelganger Midget Nervous System drops him through the floor of the Lodge into that glass box
>the box was set up by a mysterious billionaire
>BobCoop drives an expensive luxury car
Seems like it was Bob's trap for Cooper

I was under the impression that B.O.B. is basically the doppleganger, and is completely separate from Cooper.

so much this im upvoting this to mars lol

>There are no "motifs"
Do you have brain problems

FWWM is Lynch's 2nd best film just watch it you fucking turd

>there are HUGE rumors about the nuclear explosion Lynch staged for the season 3 shoot

where did people even get this from? what indication of a "nuclear explosion" was there on set?

>im better than you people

Cooper is more effective than Leland.

...

After reading this thread I feel that either
1, people are really fucking stupid
2, you haven't watched the show

Or both

No. In the original series its clear that the black lodge only appears when extreme emotions are happening IE Josie dying and Truman witnessing it brought BOB. I assume them fucking summoned they alien or whatever it is.

WHEN WILL THE NU-MODS PIN THIS THREAD FFS?!

It's not comfy lads NOT COMFY AT ALL!!
>tfw get slightly happy when coop lunges for the coffee

>Mushroom cloud image in Gordon's room
It's happening lads

I just watched the first 4 and i read the secret history of twin peaks book and I'm really digging it. I'll even watch the episodes again, which I don't do for almost any tv shows.

All of you posting synopses are confused as to whether it's souls or physical forms being transplanted between the real world and the Black Lodge

Eyeless girl best girl

m-muh coffe and pie memes...

Why is Lucy a retard now? She was never this dumb before.

WHAT THE FUCK has race have to do with anything?

is Fire Walk With Me really that important to the plot? I seasons 1 and 2 a couple years ago and don't really remember it too well, but just finished parts 1-4 of S3 before remembering the movie existed so it's probably too late now anyways
