Recommend me movies where a character (or several), go through great inner transformations. Got over depression, mid-life crisis, overcame fears, even if there were several losses and shit times in between.
I'm thinking stuff like
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest Fearless Good Will Hunting
idk, even if it doesn't match my description precisely, recommend me something.

OP here, just watched simply because it was just so bizarre I couldn't stop watching it. I can understand how it's forgotten but with a cult following; It's just too strange for a romcom, too romcom for a strange movie, it has a fuzzy uplifting feel to it, but also it's so fantastical (in the sense of fantasy) it's also a bit hard to relate after he accepts to go to the volcano. Totally not what I expected to watch tonight.
Thanks for all the other recs.
