Basically the ordningsvakter are people too weak/uncooperative to work in the police force and therefore they get placed in this garbage tier pseudo-police job. They can't make arrests even though they claim too, they have no right to bear weapons for defense or incapacitate involved people. All they can do is basically tell people to calm down and call for the real police to make the arrests. These people are literally the lowest of the low, worse than NEETs, all they do is powertrip of the fact that they get to wear something resembling that of a police uniform.

Envarsgrip is always possible, they can escort people away from their object (and if they don't comply make an arrest). LOB (lagen om omhändertaganade av berusad) is an option too.
The vast majority are just normal people as you'd meet in any other profesion. Especially those working for a big company. I can't speak for the ones working for bars, I've heard they can be quite corrupt.

The punishments are usually very weak, if there are any. I've made a lot of arrests involving underage immigrants and they are usually back on the street within weeks.

Besides Britain, European police are actually quite competent, well-trained, armed and are fully aware of what "type" of person is most likely to cause trouble. Politicians try to stifle things like "racial-profiling" and make everything PC, but the average cop (and here in Germany even the higher-ups) are fully aware of what is going on and try their best to react accordingly. At least here they can't say it, but from what I've seen in interviews and the LEO's I know, they certainly are not on the side of "BLM" or whatever. They are at the limits of capacity, though.

This, though I think guards have more authority in finland than that. They can carry a baton and a pepper spray, and they can remove people from the property or keep them detained until the police arrive. But yea, your right that in general security guards are the lowest of the low trash

The usual reasons: >breaking into bars to steal liqour >hanging around in closed parking garages/stairwells >robbery >assault >sexual harassment >sleeping in fast food restaurants >being uppity when asked to leave someplace(this sometimes led to arrests because they became violent)

Both väktare and ordingsvakter (the two categories of private security in sweden) carry batons.
They have both have authority to detain people for most common crimes.
Ordningsvakter have the authority to ban people or remove them from their object. If they don't comply they can detain them.
