Who can defeat him?

Who can defeat him?

Isn't he just Captain Atom? If so he will defeat himself

Depends on the setting.

Jenny Quantum
Martian Manhunter
DC's magic users

once prime realizes that Manhattan practically symbolises everything that's wrong with his imperfect universe

>DC's magic users
Probably this one
I kind of hope we get to see constantine pull something out against him

Implying pre-52 supes isn't going to use talk-no-jutsu

...

Batman

Batmeme with prep time

...

batman because dc cant stop jerking off the only character people like from that shit tier comic company rEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Barry and Wally team up.

Well, he is an unknowing and unwilling agent of this guy. He is the one pulling his strings.

"There's only one thing we can do! Give Superman all the rings and infuse the entire Speedforce in him!"

The Empty Hand came in after destroying another multiverse, so he's pretty much an independent entity.

Only one in the thread that has a chance

...

Captain Atom

It will be something lame with a lot of "metacommentary" aka we don't know how to actually make things interesting without pulling pseudointellectual bullshit

He'd probably still get cancer though.

user. You can manipulate the actions of other individuals without ever coming into contact with them by making sure certain events take place. Those events can influence the decisions of said individual.

Manhattan managed to make the DCU more edgy and grim, that is a very important part of the plan of the Empty Hand and the Gentry to make everything disgusting and to make you forget about your dreams.

If Manhattan made the New 52 I think that may put him above MM.

Superman.

Saitama is a weird one. People want to measure him like Squirrel Girl, yet he doesn't default to killing everything with one punch, and feats would put him on Cell Saga Goku tier at best.

Honestly, Saitama is just a relatively big fish in world full of guppies...

Alan Moore

since he is the god that created the DC universe does the Spectre work for him?

He is a joke. He is not supposed to be taken seriously.

correct answers:

Total indifference

>DOCTOR MANHATTAN
>Base armor reduced by 2
thank mr lizard

almost 70% of the aliens metahumans and superhumans in DC universe
only reason he looks overpowered in Watchmen cause there's literally no other super powered humans there and most are powerless jobbers

>powerless jobbers

If you're powerless, it's not really jobbing though.

Ozymandias

Someone with the power of persuasion.

Superboy Prime hopefully. That'll be nice.

Batman will recreate the accident and become Dr. ManBATtan

This

Dami and Jon.

The Plutonian?

Not being in bed by 10

Good luck trying to get people to understand this.

Why do people keep saying Batman? The last time he played any importat role in some event was during Final Crisis and then literally every member of the JL had an important role

I think Geoff Johns mentioned about not wanting "Batman and company punching out Dr. Manhattan" so people are making fun of that.

Ehhh, I have my doubts that magic users could defeat Manhattan, and this is coming from somebody who loves DC's stable of magic users (particularly Captain Marvel/Shazam, Blue Devil, The Demon, and Doctor Fate). The New Gods would probably be a much more worthy foil for a god born of the atomic age

MM is recreating the Marvel multiverse rn....

Superboy Prime will save the day, I just know it

Wally will talk him out of it.

Just read some of the interviews Johns did. He's said Manhattan is not a villain that can be taken out with punches. He also said Wally will be just as important to Rebirth as Manhattan. There's your answer. The Blue Beetles and the Atoms will probably do something, too, as will the Titans and the Trinity.

Ha. Ha. Ha.

>Give Superman all the rings

That seems a bad idea, somehow.

I do not agree. Molecule Man is the most powerful entity in the Marvel Multiverse now. His power created it, while creating the New 52 only required the manipulation of the Flash.

...Yes. His power is also quantum-based.

The Sentry, then? Perhaps?

Anti-Monitor at his most powerful would have a chance.

Realistically, Molecule Man is probably the only dude who can beat him. They have similar power sets, but Doc is extremely inexperienced.

During the original Watchmen I don't think we saw anything showing Manhattan to be that OP. Mind you, he obviously is now, but in his original incarnation any of the abstracts or cosmic entities could probably eat him for breakfast.

Spectre, Time Trapper, Nix Uotan, etc

There are plenty who could beat him. But is most likely.

No, Chadwardenn.

would be epic if it happened.

Whoever is destined to do it.

Yes, Saitama is written to be the standard, unbeatable protagonist, but if he does represent the average "boys comic hero" then half the fun is speculating about the true nature of his power. People who just stamp their feet and say "WAAAAAH its dumb to even talk about it since we know he'll just win no matter what!!" are choosing to take the route of least fun and that's fucking stupid.

So far the best theory I've heard about the true nature of OPM's power is that through sheer force of will, he's transcended above some Universal law of determinism that defines everyone's potential upon birth. Since he's exceeded his allotted potential, he can theoretically summon nearly unlimited power through a cosmic loophole and the Universe can't do shit about it.

Makes as much sense as an alien getting Tactile Telekinesis from yellow mainline stars.

Saitama leveled up, but instead of gaining one or two stat points, he gained infinite for all his stats.

But really it's because in his universe, whatever you're obsessed with gives you powers. You eat a bunch of crabs and become a crab guy. Saitama trained every single day to become a strong hero, so he became the strongest ever. It came from his determination rather than the actual training.

saitama moves faster than light, fuck off with your squirrel girl

But the point of Saitama is that he always win. The guy is as much of a toon as fucking Uncle Grandpa. Asshole might even be a toon that somehow got into an anime about power levels and wankers.

Using him in this kind of discussions is a waste of time unless he is dealing with another toon, like Popeye.

What if Saitama is just Superman Thought Robot?

the superior version of himself

>Using him in this kind of discussions is a waste of time unless he is dealing with another toon, like Popeye.
Translation:
>WAAAAH NO FUUUUUUUN!! WE NEED TO STICK TO CHARACTER FIGHTS THAT WE CAN ACTUALLY DISCUSS LOGICALLY
Why do you hate fun, edgefag?

Really?

Yes, really.

user. Never be ashamed of who and what you are. Even if it's retarded.
