How can I improve my shelf and what should I buy? Thinking of buying V for Vendetta in paperback and Breakdowns by Art Spiegelman since it's cheap. Might buy a Akira Toriyama one shot or might try Krazy Kat which I never read. This is the first time I'm going to buy comics online though instead of finding them somewhat locally.

What Marvel and DC omnis have the best content, in terms of art and story. And which ones do you feel are essential to have in a collection.
I've been thinking about getting the Green Lantern ones.

The 3 in 1 releases these days say they are uncensored but they still censor stuff like this and doesn't use the name Mr Satan.

Show me an English release of Dragon Ball that isn't censored or fucked up in some other way.
From when I was looking them up, those 3 in 1 versions looked like the best ones.

You missed the point of my post. None of them are uncut. The Vizbigs merely have the best quality paper which makes them trump everything else because otherwise, they're all the same.

The new 3-in-1s are practically uncensored aside from altering black characters lips. Shame they're not on the VizBig format paper.

If is talking about the Bulma shower scene in the first volume being censored, they actually did reprint it uncensored after they were made aware of the mistake.
that Ultimate Spider Man omnibus any good? saw it at a local shop for half the price.
I really enjoy it. It's a retread of the original stories for sure, but its a lot of content and is really the definitive young Spidey now.

Nothing new, picking up Rebirth, JL #50, Grayson 20, Omega men 12, and Tokyo Ghost tommorow. Gonna pick up Alan Moore Swamp Thing or Ennis Hellblazer after the 52 reprint comes out though.

Most everyone seems in agreement that those collections looks hideous. I know at least one pro who contacted the people at IDW and to ask if he could redesign them to look more like a BD

I recently got the first Spider-Man epic collection, and Green Lantern No Fear.
My comic collection is pretty small. I started it ages ago, but it all got water damaged after the house caught fire, and shortly after we lost our only book store. I only started collecting again last year.
hey dude mind if i ask what hellboy vol is best. can only get one for now and would like to get the best one.
I would say volume 4 since it's entirely short stories from across Hellboy's life. So you don't really need to know much of the main plot

Not if he's only buying one volume. Seed of Destruction is kind of a slog with Byrne's heavy narration and not the best representation of why Hellboy is great

That's what I figured. You'd think they could just slap a "From the creator of Dragon Ball Z" sticker on them and sell some anthologies of his shorts or something, but I guess DBZ isn't as popular as it was in the golden age of Toonami.
Think Dr Slump only got a five episode mini-movie type of DVD without a dub. People on Kanzenshuu would eat that stuff up and some others. You could easily bundle like a promo type of deal with a DBZ game. Kajika/Neko Majin are the two main ones that come to mind despite years gaps between the two released ones. Jaco the Galactic Patrolman was clearly only released due to it's DBZ ties (which is why the other two in the series is unreleased).

Aside from Popo and Mr. Satan, the censorship is only really prevalent in the first couple volumes anyway as far as I'm aware. Not really worth rebuying 15 books if you already had them. And of course, there's the better paper quality.
I thought it would have changed the tone of the story or something.
