Just saw Wonder Woman at a special screening. It has a lot of issues with pacing, development and characterizations (you're never really sure if Diana is just sheltered, naive, or simply stupid), but nonetheless, it was a fun movie. AMA.

How much kike semen do you have to take to enjoy jew propaganda?

What is the biggest thing you ever shoved in your asshole?

does it push "Grill power" or is Diana an actual character who faces actual opposition and has an arc?

SPOIL EVERYTHING YOU ACTUAL FAG

what does it do to distinguish it's lighthearted(?) tone from the mahvel quipfest?

How much is ((((Disney)))) paying you?

Is it a misunderstood masterpiece like BvS, a soulless piece of shit like Suicide Squad or a well meaning but underwritten movie like Man of Steel?

Nice LARP faggot

go back

I don't think they've put much focus on feminism or anything. She takes the lead a lot and lets the guys dumbfounded a couple of times, but they skirted the "girls are better than boys" narrative quite well I think.

I wouldn't really call it lighthearted in the first place. The movie is "fun" in the sense that I mostly enjoyed watching it, it's an interesting summer popcorn flick with some funny banter and interesting (but not really) action that I'll forget by next week (or at least until JL).

It's not a masterpiece nor is it soulless, so it's strange to say it somehow reminded me of MoS, although I hate that one. Probably because of all the "world building" and character background and all of that. It's definitely better than MoS.

Unfortunately nothing. It's not my intention to shill for anything here. I had a lot of issues with the movie, like how Diana is a totally undeveloped character, how the villains are introduced and how the stakes are never really that important or taken seriously so I never really felt there's much at risk (we all know WWI ended, sooo...).

Why does a lot of people keep saying the 3rd act is terrible? It's just vdeogame destruction porn out of nowhere like BvS' 3rd act?

Is the final battle better or worse than the other ones?

Without getting into too much detail, yeah, that's pretty much it. I mean, SS final battle is straight up retarded and MoS is just destruction porn, while WW falls somewhere in the middle with a couple of original faults of its own.

are there any plot twists or just surprises? what are they?

>it's garbage
Is anyone surprised

There's a twist in revealing the villain's true identity but anyone with two functioning brain cells could and should at least suspect it when the character is first introduced.

Oh and I almost forgot, by far the most stupid thing in the movie is the "tagline" Diana learns along the way and keeps repeating that goes something like "It's not what you deserve, it what you believe in" which, I mean, literally doesn't make sense.

I saw people posting this line and I thought "that makes no sense"

Then I asked someone for the context, and I still don't see any sense

How big is Connie Nielsen's role?

wont believe the good reviews this'll get for a second. remember, ghostbusters got good reviews. gal gadot cannot act.

How are ze Germans portrayed in dies Wunderfrau film?

I dunno, nothing extraordinary. She plays Diana's overprotective mother and that's about it. She doesn't reappear after the first act.

I agree. I was more than willing to give her the benefit of the doubt and had high hopes for her but she was really pretty awful.

THE ABSOLUTE MAD WOMAN

They're pretty okay, desu. Remember, this is still WWI where they're not the "evil Nazis" yet. Apart from the main antagonists they're actually in favor of signing the peace treaty with the allies, but the rogue villians of course sabotage that.

>just saw Wonder Woman

I was worried they'd just be portrayed as Nazis in different uniforms.

Is Chris pine basically emasculated in this or is he allowed to be an action type fellow? I like the guy and want him to do well but if he spends the movie looking at WW and saying "wow, she's making me rethink my behaviour towards women", i'll be annoyed he's used like that.

>It's better than MoS!

No it's not. Unless theres an end fight and you see buildings getting destroyed by 2 gods battling then no, no it isnt.

brpppppt

What are your thoughts on Thor1 and Cap1, and how does WW compare?

Steve Trevor is actually a pretty heroic guy who in the end shares at least 50% credit for saving the day. So yeah, a pretty solid action hero that Diana also doesn't just stumble in love like a fool.

The first Captain is actually one of my favorite Marvel movies and I think WW is kinda similar to it. Maybe it's just because of the similar setting and the introduction of a classic character - I wouldn't say they're really tonally similar, WW is still quite a lot darker imo.

Oh and I couldn't care less about Thor.

I know she only communicates to him by email, but do you get the feeling there is room for Bruce and Diana to have some of their old flirtation in the future? By the modern day, does she seem to have let go of Steve enough?

Thanks. If WW is as good as Cap1, then there is hope yet for the DCEU.

if bvs gave me mega-cancer and suicide squad gave me ultra-aids, what kind of untreatable super disease will I get from this DC shit?
