Move to Iceland and you'll pick it up quickly, probably

>tfw trying to learn icelandic verb conjugation

r u an actual icelandic :DD?

I want learn one of the /balt/ languages, but it should be hard and I don't know which one..maybe Estonian

But I think it almost impossible to do it by myself

I learned Polish by myself, but it's a same language to Russian

>tfw you will never know how difficult this is
I'd like to say I can relate with foreigners trying to learn my language
but I can't

Try to learn Russian.

have u seen an asian boi speaking icelandic?

>learning the Red tongue
you'd have to pay me
there are a few at my uni, most of them are not so fluent
you can still pull it off though; my childhood friend's step-dad is american and has only lived here for about 10 years and in that time he's become able to speak the language as good as a native

Hvaða háskóla ertu í?

en þú?

icelandic is easy

it's swedish with -ur suffix on every word

hejur hurur mårur duur? Mittur namnur ärur Johanur

since our languages are in the same family it's not the hardest language for me to learn, but the verb conjugation is so fucking frustrating because you never know when to use what and it feels like you never truly "get" it.

why in god's name would someone from asia learn a language 6 people speak to go to a completely unremarkable university there?

>Learning a language which is spoken by less than 500k people

You're nuts, Mamoru.

>completely unremarkable university there?

Don't you mean sögurnar?

disclaimer, that might be the only actual word I can still remember from 10 years ago

>401-500

refer to

*an mhaith

that's 500 out of 25000
let's see you do better when your population consists of 330,000 inbred proto-irish/norse snowniggers

yeah fuck me, it looked wrong from the start lmao

That's Old English. I'm the only Icelandic-American on Sup Forums

>search for a cold environment, under -10°C
>wear nothing but animal fur and a melee weapon choice
>get SHITFACED on honey ale out there
>Speak to Wotan in your alcoholic dream and ask him that teach you the language
>weak up next day, now fluent in old norse which is close to Icelandic
