May the road rise to meet your motorcycle.

Its "May the road rise to meet your wheels" pleb.

xth for james the cool

...

Lynchfags will defend this scene.

I wonder how many takes this took.

I hope there's an entire episode to Wally meeting his real father

Why she's so clumsy?

New to the show, just finished season 1, is it just me or is the finale was one of the worst episodes of the season? Just nonstop cliffhangers and drama no time to let whats happening sink in.

Still good, but not in the Lynch style at all (I know he did not direct it).

*is she

So do you guys think that Ray and Darya got paid by the same benefactor that is funding the glass box? What about the guy Mr. Todd works for?

It seems like there's this ominous big player involved, and I'm guessing he's involved with all 3 of these parties. I wonder if the woman that Todd hired was somehow related

Leave it to those fags to steal memes

Wally getting possessed by a lodge entity and channeling Brando in Apocalypse Now when?

/tpg/ is already dead after only six days. What a joke of a series and fanbase LOL

It's Illuminati/Majestic 12 obviously

Lynch was less involved in the latter part of Season 1 because he was busy winning the Palme D'or, the first episode of Season 2 is essentially him re-asserting his style and bitch slapping Mark Frost and the normie audience.

Wally will gradually portray an older and older Brando
Screencap this and send it in a letter to Lynch

It's a masterpiece compared to what happens after the reveal in S2.

FWWM's Laura is THE best TP girl. Ever.

Who is the best Coop?

strawpoll.me/13051710

Who the fuck was matthew lillard's character? I was pretty out of it for the second episode but episode three and four with casino cooper were amazing.

Dougie Jones

Frost really that bad? Or is his writing only good when he's got someone to collab with

I'm going to start the 2nd season now, i've heard it gets bad after they forced Lynch to solve the mystery, and picks up in the last few episodes.

Ill watch it all as long as its all mildly engaging or entertaining.

The story goes that Mark Frost (who wrote S1E8) wasn't sure if there would be a second season at all, so he crammed the season finale full of every cliffhanger he could think of in the hopes that it would generate high demand for a continuation.
They tried something similar in S2 but we all know how that turned out.

Call for help

YeaH the james stuff gets pretty boring in the second season but other than that season two was fine if you actually enjoy the show

Is Deadly Premonition the closest we will come to a Twin Peaks game?

It's not bad, just don't expect miracles.

I'm not sure if he'll come back, but I think the point mostly was to show the way Mr. C works - he helped a wife get her unfaithful husband in jail and kill his lover

A high school principal implicated in a murder of a woman whose apartment he thought he visited in a dream but not in real life. Likely he was possessed by a lodge spirit, if not BOB then something similar.

I hope so. It gets everything wrong in the most spectacular way. It's a shame they added the combat in later, it would have been a great goofy open world adventure game.

The S2 filler has some fun bits, but it's basically just a bunch of aimless subplots with very little tying any of it together. It's alright for the first couple of episodes, then gets kind of annoying, then ramps back up and they hit you with the best episode of the series right at the end.

>fine if you actually enjoy the show

I love this show, my posts don't sound too enthusiastic, but the first season without a doubt probably is sitting comfortably in my top 5 favorites as of right now.

Im not sure. What do you think Zach?

>unemployed
you mean Deputy Dale Cooper.

>without a doubt probably
Lol I did not mean to type that.

Dougie Jones

Nah, feels like a cheap imitation. Gameplay sucks hard too.

That would be Alan Wake

Hard to know. Evil Dale went out of his way to possess Lillard and commit the murders and then kill his wife with the gun of their lawyer who she was seeing on the side. I;m guessing it's gonna come back later down the road.

Is anybody else writing down the numbers in each episode?

Noticed there are 3 digits spoken out in each S3 ep.

> EP1 - the giant says 430
> EP2 - the evolved arm says 235 [need to double check]
> EP3 - the junky mom screams 119
>EP4 - a lot of code words by the police lady at the sherrif station, the last being "10-4"

THE NUMBERS COOPER, WHAT DO THEY MEAN??

>tfw they don't know who the billionaire is

No, it's the first Silent Hill.

Thimbleweed Park?

Mizzurna Falls for PS1, should be translated soon.

That face he makes looks like Blue Steel from Zoolander

For some reason when long haired bad guy cooper was being questioned by gordon and albert, i was extremely creeped out by his eyes and his voice and how he was speaking. I never get creeped out or scared by horror movies, but david lynch actually makes shit scary to me for some reason.

...

>implying Lynch brings any of the mid S2 shit back

3 on Coopers first entry to the floating space box, 15 as he leaves I think.

6 on the telephone pole and 7 when near the elevator when Phillip Jeffries enters in FWWM

WHAT DO THEY MEAN

youtu.be/e3I0fc9TYO8

Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy was a pretty great game if you're looking for that Twin Peaks vibe.

Too bad that Quantic Dream became a hack studio after that.

Do we know who dougie is yet? I'm quite confused.

He's only in one episode, according to IMDb.

Don't forget the 15 and 3 on the "lock" that Cooper goes through

Tracey desu

>"That's right. People are people, and we are the way we are. Now fucking change who you are or kill yourself you fucking bigot."

Cocaine

Dougie Jones

>Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy was a pretty great game

lol

315 is cooper's room at the great northern

Are you retarded?

i bet you're one of those people who whine about QTE's in games

Dougie is a fake!EvilCoop set up by BOB to be taken to the Black Lodge in his place were Cooper to return. Cooper instead takes Dougie's place, allowing BOB to stay in our world.

That's the best scene from episode 4 hands down.

What's the problem with it? I didn't contribute anything to the plot but it was funny. Even old Twin Peaks had scenes like that.

I think Cooper's body is dying because of the car crash, so BOB is holding it together by demon strength alone.

Thank you, Tracey.

WTF! is that kyle mclaughlin's actual voice you think? I don't know why but I was very creeped out by that scene.

youtube.com/watch?v=XWkGGda7hX8

Think he was a decoy created by Evil Coop.
Evil Coop knew that if the original would leave the lodge, he would be pulled back into it [think in ep 2 someone hinted at that?].
So Evil Coop had a back up plan and created a dummy from the golden marble [assume Garmonbozia] and the ring from FWWM.
The lodge transfer still hit Evil Coop hard and he had to be hospitalized.

I hope Lynch is gonna explain how Evil Coop managed to trick the Black Lodge into thinking that Dougie is Evil Coop and not let that mystery lay around forever.

Definitely his voice, probably distorted in post.

>Boop
>Coop
>Doop

WHO'S AOOP?

>those garbage special effects

the fuck?

not really, just when a game is made by a complete hack like david cage

people only like indigo prophecy in the "so bad it's good" sense

Probably the ring from FWWM that Dougie had on his hand was some sort of beacon?

>diversity should be appreciated fully in the light of unity
>in the light of unity
>unity

Surrealism.

Normie

Twin Peaks Anime confirmed

I-it's supposed to c-capture the feeling of 1991

truly the words of a bleeding heart faggot.

Where are these quotes coming from? I saw another one like this in a different thread.

I just finised watching FWWM and the missing pieces last night.

I cant for the life of me understand why it wasnt well recieved in its' release because it feels like a Twin Peaks version of End of evangelion.

I actually prefered it's style to the original tv show and thats saying something because i loved the original. Laura was also my favourite character by the ending of it.

The more I watch this scene the more I like it.
Suck it up, brainlets.

I think that's too easy though, any Doppelgänger could just throw away the ring and stay in the real world. Unless they've never become disobedient like Evil Coop before (he said something along the lines of the Black Lodge expects him to come back).

You want to work in Hollywood, you need to prove you're a loyal party member, comrade.
David Lynch is more of a mystic, to be honest.

the asian lady tricks coop into going through the wrong outlet. if he had gone through the original outlet before she flipped the switch he would have come out of evil coop's cigarette lighter and evil coop would have been sucked back into the black lodge.

getaload of this Sup Forumstard getting lynched

>b-but my "Dougie shrinks and when his head explodes he transforms into a gold marble" scene isn't photorealistic enough

Wired interview.

>it feels like a Twin Peaks version of End of evangelion

It's really creepy how many things Twin Peaks and Eva have in common.

from what i've read it seems as though some people didn't like the change in style (like you i definitely prefer it) and instead of answering the massive cliffhanger s2 finishes on it goes into the backstory of laura palmer instead

but yeah, it's one of my favourite lynch films

Leave

Mark Frost has said that his whole idea for that episode was to try and pack in as many cliffhangers as humanly possible. The meaning was for it to serve as a semi-satire on cliffhangers in soap operas all the while simultaneously being actual cliffhangers. I have a slight problem with the episode but it's not that it's too cliffhangey but rather that I've always thought it's a bit too dry. That's why the Lynch-directed following season 2 opener always feels like getting soaked in a nice bath with essential oils.

Because at the time the fans wanted their soap opera and answers for season 2's cliffhangers. They got neither.
