EU to discuss sanctions over Poland judiciary reforms

The Commission is concerned that democracy in Poland is under threat from a raft of new laws, including how judges are appointed.

The Polish conservative government says the reforms are needed to curb inefficiency and corruption.

The European Commission has been monitoring the situation in Poland for almost two years.

Later on Wednesday, Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker will a lead a discussion about whether it is time to recommend the activation of the EU disciplinary process known as Article 7 - which has never been used before.

no more gibs pawel

When you come into the EU, there's a serie of boxes to check in terms of laws (independance of justice, fight against corruption, etc.) that you agree on upholding. If you change those laws afterwards, then you lose access to benefits of the EU. It's pretty fair.

I hope we'll exit this shitty union soon

I hope you leave too. Less taxes for us, less money for you.

>independance of justice, fight against corruption, etc.
really? is that why Junker stated he's okey with seecret meetings from the people and lying to people?

telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/eu/9845442/EU-to-set-up-euro-election-troll-patrol-to-tackle-Eurosceptic-surge.html

>Mr Juncker has never hidden his view that the compromises and deals being worked out in EU meetings or leaders or ministers need be protected from public scrutiny, by lies if necessary.

>"When it becomes serious, you have to lie," he said.

>In May 2011, he told a meeting of the federalist European Movement that he often “had to lie” and that eurozone monetary policy should be discussed in “secret, dark debates”.

>He also sparked controversy by suggesting that the eurozone economic policy was incompatible with democracy.

>“We all know what to do, we just don't know how to get re-elected after we've done it,” Mr Juncker cynically quipped last year.

>Mr Juncker was also closely linked to the EU constitution, before the French referendum on it in 2005 he predicted, correctly, that Europe would ignore any popular rejections.

>“If it's a Yes, we will say 'on we go', and if it's a No we will say 'we continue’,” he said.

At this point whatever the EU shits out is irrelevant.

> EU to discuss sanctions over Poland judiciary reforms

Mmm......
Isn't Poland a independent country?
EU is always like that?
I can't understand why EU give a sanction to a judiciary reforms of other countries...

>needs to be supported by 4/5 of EU member countries to go through
not gonna happen lel

>Pooland
>independent

Have a nice trip to Russia.

Westerners are not going to stop in their determination to utterly destroy Poland. Merkel, the EU and progressives are threatening Poland with destruction for not bending over and submitting to Brussels rule. Once again, Poland is on the frontline of the defense of civilization, and once again, Poland is going to lose and be destroyed. Poland is the Christ of Nations that died for the salvation of fellow Europeans

Why does he hate Europeans?

Whats went wrong with democracy in Poland?

It got implemented

democracy is not for Poles
we are made for National Catholic Socialism

After EUSSR done with Poland your flag will become their new flag.

>Let's let the government select every judge in the country, what could go wrong xddD

The point is,
Is what Poland did skim the cream? :3

I really hope that someday USA,UK,Eastern Europe come together to BTFO EU

all those "sanctions" are really toothless.
We should cut gibsmedat money to Poland, that would bring their authoritarian government into real trouble

Poland agreed to certain deals when entering the EU. If Poland doesn't uphold it's end of the bargain, it is only fair to sanction them

Democracy is not for anyone

>concerned
meh. when you see this word in an article you just know that nothing serious will happen

>Be German
>Say that Poland government is authoritarian
>Can be arrested any time for having illegal opinions

KURRRRRRRRWA SEND MORE GIBS

>whataboutism

German government isn't trying to get a historical of sites that every citizen use?

Is it?

i'm sure that losing 2% of our budget will make our country collapse overnight
anyways, we understand that we will receive way less from EU funds than before (possibly becoming a net contributor), because we become way more developed since 2007, and with UK leaving there is less money in EU funds overall
there were talks about sanctions for like 2 years now and still nothing happened

eurogibs are way more than 2% of your budget

no not really

>waiting some German say that this is normal

I've long scrapped this disgusting yurotrash kike flag off my plates.

I dont see how anyone can proudly display this whore terrorist flag on their possessions.

EU is doing literally nothing wrong here.

While it's true that the action is in part motivated by political agitation from the side of deposed and corrupt polish liberals...

...substance of criticism leveled against nationalist polish government is factually and objectively correct - polish government is actively undermining division of power and subordinating judiciary to political officers.

Polish government is right when it claims that reform is called for, and their reform does many things right. But along with those it contains a power grab.

politico.eu/article/poland-biggest-beneficiary-of-eu-funds/
>Poland biggest beneficiary of EU funds
>Figures for 2009 show that Germany was largest net contributor to the EU budget.

Someone shit on your car way before you shit on the flag

Kick the retards out, they're obviously still commies.

>but muh christianity
not falling for it Pawel

Fuck off Ivan.

what ever you fucking retard

Certainly, What you are saying is right.

But it seems to be too hard to observe strictly EU agreement.
I think that if EU keeps this up, second Brexit will arise.

Poland is biggest net benefactor of EU. If Poland leaves, they lose and everybody else wins

are you dumb or what? this article doesn't even mention polish budget

The law in question is about car locks, and if it had passed you could link me to an articles of what was in it.
The """reportedly""" wider aplication is nothing short of sensationalist speculation.
Give me an article on what's in the law when it passed (if it even passed). Or stop spreading fake news.

Wow Russia tier

>yurotrash kike flag
m8...

you krauts are the shitbags wanting to build a highway to russia so you can dump your shitty wares over there.

you pay up for this, scum fucking scheming jerry.

were not getting anything in return

so fuck you

6,5bn € is way more than 2% of Polish budget

no it isn't

On the contrary, if EU won't even stand up for its most fundamental principles then its whole existence is pointless in the first place.

then leave EU

Thank God I'm a Croat, I couldn't stand being a Pole.

I dont consider myself part of the EU

the fact that all these leftists and kikes wanted this shithole to be a part of the EU is another thing

as far as Im concerned you can take them all in like refugees and make them your citizens and beurocracy while youre at it.

once again...fuck you

you country is built on gibs from other nations, Poland is literally the cancer and the nigger of the EU.

Our government wanted to control offensive things on the internet,in the end they wanted go full 1984

The EU is not your property. We will leave it when we want it.

where is the proof?

I'll keep it short and simple

suck my dick dago wop motherfucker

what you consider doesn't matter, Poland is factually part of EU

my toilet's still dirty pawel

now that is just hurtful and inaccurate

burden of proof is on you.

>polish arguments

top kek

well, where is it?

we'll I'd love for your little kike ass to come where I live an tell me that in my face....I'd leave you a corpse with a hole in your head.

I dont fuck around with yurotrash like you

>inaccurate
why are poles so delusional?

This refugee law is unfair and according to the Radbruch formula (invited by Germans) we are not obliged to accept it.

It's completely accurate though

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economy_of_Poland#Budget_and_debt

Won't EU Agreements be a little more loose?
So that countries in EU can exist together.

Poland has 40 million citizens, no wonder we get the biggest share nominally.

We're talking about the legal reform, reffos are a side issue.

>2008
ebin :DDD

Every country in the EU has the right to change its legal system. In Germany politicians also choose judges

blogs.loc.gov/law/2016/05/how-judges-are-selected-in-germany/

and Spain has 47 million, you are gibs country.

Fucking niggers, we could help Greece more if you weren't in the Union.

you are welcome to provide more up to date data

EU is founded on certain principles like democracy or separation of power. Poland becoming a dicatorship is not acceptable for EU

It's not accurate. Net payments of EU budget are a very minor thing compared to transfers in actual federations, and while from individual perspective it is quite significant, in context of national product it's a fairly minor thing. Furthermore their relative difference in development is due to decades of communism you can consider yourselves lucky to be spared of.

You are also shitting on many honest people who want nothing but to do honest work and provide for their families. If you unironically believe that an average Pole is in any meaningful way worse than an average Italian or an average Brit then you're delusional.

>you are welcome to provide more up to date data

*shits on your face*

>The judges at the other federal supreme courts are selected by the Judges Election Committee. The Judges Election Committee is convened by the Federal Minister of Justice. The committee is composed of a total of thirty-two members and consists of the ministers of justice of the sixteen German states and sixteen members selected by the Bundestag. (Basic Law, art. 95, para. 2)

So, in Germany all members of the Judges Election Committee are politicians or members chose directly by politicians. While in Poland even after "undemocratic" reforms there will be some independent members in such a committee.

Greece is way less important than Poland, also Greeks are lazy and their problems are their fault mostly.

Cleaning Czech toilets are we now Pawel

not too many toilets left in UK Abdullah, and designated street cleaning is not really our trade

>and their problems are their fault mostly.
Just like yours

Of course, the first place is important.

But if countries which feel difficult is in EU,
I think it is necessary to adjust EU Agreements.
It's like loosening a too tight screws.

:^)

> Yes, yes we will agree to all European regulations. Let Poland join the rich country club and we will be good Europeans, pretty promise :)

> Ten billion Euros later...

> What? We have to do what we signed up for? FUCK YOU GERMANY, FUCK YOU FRANCE NOBODY CAN TELL POLSKA WHAT TO DO!

They still get gibs.

Their gov won't be able to vote on the council.

Our problems are German (WW2) and Russian (communism) fault. Without it, we would be a developed country like every state that didn't have these cancers.

*shits in your face again*

your fault for beeing unable to defend your country

>EU discussing sanctions (without any means of applying them) for reforms that weren't even passed, which are supposed to make our judiciary system more similar to Western Europe, and that is apparently very bad
go Brussels!

That's the next step :^)

Shame your fellow "french" citizens didnt check those boxes too, Jamal-Pierre

>Won't get involved in Catalonia-Spain to respect a member nation
>Flings shit at Poland because the former ruling party cries
O.K.

Anyways Hungary will torpedo the vote.

What is the EU even getting out of Pooland? Why do they like them so much?

Is it just the cheap labour or something else?

> W-Whiter than you Jacques

Pathetic.

> type of a guy who has scratched eu flag out his car and keeps gore at pc

euroscepticists, everyone

Yeah those frog imperialists better not come running for our help when Algerians and Lybians and most of north Afrika start fucking frog shit up.

And it's coming, bet

>EU budget are a very minor thing compared to transfers in actual federations
maybe because we aren't in a federation, what do you want Ivan? more fucking money? Porco dio....

>EU budget are a very minor thing compared to transfers in actual federations
Are you really comparing domestic product with actual national budget? Have you ever read a book?

Less criminals too.
