Why was this scene blue anyway?

blue rose

to show how shit film makers are nowadays with filters i mean come on user he literally says "it doesnt get any bluer than this"

original

"Albert, Albert ... Albert."
"I love you, Albert..."

This is a fucking stupid idea.
Do you think your "corrected" color grade suits the film better? Do you think every film should look as real and natural as possible?

Color grading is a tool like any other filmmaking element that adds to the narrative. if you took out the green out of The Matrix it would look like a TV show in broad daylight, not a film about false reality in a computer program.

directed by Denis Villeneuve

needs more yellow

kek, do a david fincher filter

Either because Lynch felt that it looked cool or really just as a visual joke to set up that "It doesn't get any bluer" line.

saturate me up bay

finchered

In Twin Peaks, "Blue Rose" cases are FBI cases involving paranormal or supernatural elements (because there are no blue roses found in nature).

The blue color grading in this scene is a visual play on this, and possibly a visual joke about unnatural color grading too.

Do a marvel civil war bleak one

Do Snyder

Do based Tark

perfect

"Hail Hydra."

Do black hawk down drowning in asian man's piss

Just go kick Duwayne Dunham's ass for those fucking coral filters.

That asshole caused be to waste weeks of my life trying to adjust the color of my TV. I thought the VHS edition I bought had a bad transfer.

Turns out this asshole just thought "it's so warm and so beautiful".

What a dick.

SNYDERED

>"Arnold ... this is Sparta, Arnold..."

>the cross

nailed

lel

what software did you use?

i'm looking to color grade Das Boot as seen in pic related

To colour-grade a single shot you can use anything, gimp, photoshop, etc.

"This is The Matrix bluray, Arnold..."

of course i'm not looking to due a single shot, i want to do the whole fucking film, including re-doing the sound

You mean the entire film? Use premiere.

...

...

you are not able to do it

France and South Korea also have a tv license?

>re-doing the glorious sound design of Das Boot

for what purpose?

...

It's Albert, you dumb fuck

>scene about coffee
>it's brown
bravo, lynch.

nice subtle symbolism

What was the point of this scene?

Who is she??

youtube.com/watch?v=qpsisSk_cYE

Vince Gilligan pls

It was filmed with the ancient day-for-night method, basically a method when the director cheaps out and films the night scenes at daylight

Why does she always play cockhungry sluts?
