Seasons 2 and 3

robin wright. look it up.

I can't believe the President is a literal cuck. He and his Wife have directly murdered people and ordered the deaths of several more. I can't believe they had their Bull living with them in the White House. I can't believe they discuss murder openly. I can't believe a lifelong Republican political consultant would switch sides like that. I can't believe Conway would unravel like that. I can't believe Tom Dumbasshit can't put together a coherent story. I can't believe a woman with no experience was made her husband's running mate. I can't believe the Secretary of State ended up in a Coma by falling 5 steps. I can't believe a guy who roleplayed as Frank's grandfather got assfucked and told the President he loves him in public. I can't believe a single NSA hacker was able to expertly hack the election and create fake intelligence. I can't believe none of the secret service leak anything. I can't believe Claire confessed her husband's murders to their Bull. I can't believe Frank after working for this his whole life willingly created the circumstances to his destruction. I can't believe they trusted Jane Davis after knowing her for a few months at MOST.

Most of all, I can't believe I watched this shit for 5 years

because Netflix doesn't know how and when to end their shows.

House of Cards should have ended this season (I'd say it should have ended with 2 seasons, but them giving up Kevin Spacey so quickly is unrealistice).
the Kyle Chandler show should have ended after 1 season
Narcos should have ended after 2 seasons (because PABLO 'THE WHOLE POINT OF THE SHOW' ESCOBAR IS DEAD, what the fuck are you even going to do for Season 3?)
they're even talking about renewing The Fall for another season when the fucking serial killer who was the focus of the whole show is dead. like for what purpose?

even the shows that do need additional seasons always have shitty last minute cliffhangers.

it seems like they're becoming aware of it and are not afraid to cancel stuff now (sense8, the get down, marco polo etc.)

also netflix has nothing to do with the fall, that's a british show that netlfix just buys the US broadcast rights to and calls it an "original"

The climb to the top is far more interesting than staying on top?

It's not like the show is called pablo, it's called narcos.

I thought it would never get as bad as season 3 ... I stand corrected... I turned it off after he threw the SoS down the stairs

Horrible horrible writing and direction ... also completely boring ... more happened from s01e01 to s01e04 then in the entire first 10 episodes of season 5

>shit propaganda series is shit
woah

>Narcos should have ended after 2 seasons (because PABLO 'THE WHOLE POINT OF THE SHOW' ESCOBAR IS DEAD what the fuck are you even going to do for Season 3?
Except it is called Narcos not Pablo. A bunch of shit still happened in Columbia during that time

why is frank such an irredeemable evil monster now? he used to be somewhat human in the first seasons. now he's literally the devil 24/7.

Don't cheat on my wife, Tom

This show is redpilled. It shows a Democratic President as a murderous idiotic scheming cuckold and murderer. Democrats are portrayed as crooked false-flagging election stealing frauds.

Redpilled.

It's a story about a tyrant who raises to power which really resonates with today's world.

>tfw no more Frank eating ribs and rapping his knuckles as he plots to take down the people that fucked him over with Claire in a supporting roll as confidant and wing man, mostly sticking to her charity shit

Literally now "Move over silly bois: The Show" with Frank being dumb as fuck and throwing away everything he's spent the last 4 years explaining to us was the most important thing to him in the world. Madame President the super intelligent usurper takes orders from, and starts wars for, a woman that walked into her life a month ago.

I thought that scene where he throws Cathy down the stairs must have been some kind of dream sequence. But then the plot line continues after the title credits and it's never really mentioned or properly acknowledged again. Fucking terrible.

Robin Wright became executive producer

I'm 3 episodes into the newest season and its been incredibly boring. Does this season get better?

It gets more entertaining but also more stupid. Maybe they felt like Trump gave them liberty to do what ever they like, but I felt like they've shit all over characters, intelligence and nuance to service their stupid nonsensical plot lines.

i wouldn't bother watching the rest. Season 4 showed some signs of life but HoC is confirmed dead now, it's not even the same show that it was in the first two seasons.

Was his master plan seriously to push her down 5 steps and hope she falls in a bad way?

This
Also this. Fucking Robin Wright ruined the show with her whole gurl power shit.

i've only watched the first 2 episodes of season 5 so far and it already feels like a different show

Different showrunners. It's completely fucked. Even reddit (!) is aware of how embarrassing the show is getting. Not only is this season shit, it completely devalues the excellent first two seasons.

Though it's POETRY that the show has been taken down by its own inner politics.

nailed it

Because it's American television.

The number of episodes in the British original? Twelve.

>haha remember when I spent 4 seasons repeatedly telling you that the presidency was ultimate power and my goal in life, well actually I spent a night in the woods and realised I'm wrong so I'm resigning and giving the presidency to my wife so I can work in the private sector, an area I explicitly told you in S1 E1 was beneath me and not real power LMAO

that tap water foreshadowing was so fucking awful

I was really looking forward to this, that will teach me to get my hopes up

Looks like a fucking skit.

A lot of their shows move very quickly in the first 2 seasons, then they begin to drag shit down to snail pace once something becomes very popular.

House of Cards was the only Netflix original that had moments of writing brilliance, specifically the first an second seasons. Keep in mind that it was also the first Netflix original series, so it had to be good in order to justify the company's transition from showing other people's TV shows to showing their own TV shows. Then they started pumping out other, inferior shows, but people watched them anyway because it had the Netflix Original "Seal of Approval," if you could call it that. I think they realized that they didn't have to try very hard because people will watch anything in their suggestions feed, so that's when the writing started to go downhill.

THAT'S MY BOY

...

A perfect female specimen.

yeah in Season 1 Frank fucking hated the private sector, he said it wasn't real power like the Presidency

that's also why he looked down on that Billionaire Tusk guy who supported the former president, even with all his money he still needed the President to get some things done

holy shit this

why did she want sum fuk from him out of nowhere? did she think he'd protect her?

How FUCKING STUPID was LeAnn? She knows her old buddy hacker was probably murdered and she STILL gives up the only thing protecting her and then goes to a remote location away from people

Also that hacker was retarded, why didn't he have a Leak Release only in the event of his death? that is what smart leakers do to make their life worth more than their death

Thats even lower than a cuck. Also why the fuck did they had to make Frank half a fag, having that creep suck his dick and shit, fucking progressive hacks

I think Narcos is probably the best show that Netflix has tbf, but like HoC (for its good seasons) it also has a source (Goodfellas/Casino except with the Columbian Drug War) that it apes hard.

Not sure that they have an actually original show that rivals AMC's or HBO's output (their better shows, that is). Stranger Things is probably the closest.

First 2 seasons of Bloodline are incredible imo. The new one kind of feels like they're having to cut down 2 seasons into one because Netflix canceled it.

I loved the first season of Bloodline but hated the second, I still haven't finished it. It was so boring, and it seemed like half the drama (as far as I watched) was caused by Kevin being a gigantic retard. It almost seemed like the show would improve drastically if John just put him out of his misery.

>why did she want sum fuk from him out of nowhere? did she think he'd protect her?

They had some subtle hints of sexual tension all throughout the season, Also, she probably literally just needed sum fuk considering the stress.

One thing I really didn't understand is why she didn't just floor it in her Porche as soon as she saw the SUV coming instead of grabbing the gun.

Oh well, she's probably not dead anyway.

i like liked bloodline at first but they killed off danny way too early and utterly wasted ben mendelsohn. kevin was such an insufferable character to watch and john fixes everything plot armor got really old.

Kevin Spacey is gay and Frank has been gay since S1

What did she mean by this?

I really wish him and his wife had an actual sexual relationship. Him being a cuck is boring and pathetic, not to mention distracting in every single HoC thread.

Mothafucker is right. Narcos could have easily filled the True detective niche in many ways.
While not as good, it nevertheless checks plenty of boxes
criminality/drugs, undercover shit, exotic setting, manhunt, wide diverse cast, two detectives figuring shit out, highly unusual case becoming a burden and filling the detectives lives, special period piece etc...

Narcos would have been AMAZING as an anthology. Each season with a new legendary drug dealer in a specific period/history based on a real case provides nearly limitless potential while keeping each season dense in action.

S02 was filler as fuck and now we're going to have a s03 based on the boring cali cartel.

In my hypothetical scenario, they could have made a season about the opium trade in the 1800s, frank Lucas in 70s nyw, post ww2 corsican connection story in france..

But the dumb fucks choose to do the one boring spanish speaking cartel after another strategy.

I never thought i'd miss zoe barnes so much. This show become the Tom Hammerschmidt show and end next season with Tom figuring everything out and proving it.

Made it to ep5 before I gave up. When Frank's just sitting and watching his wife sleep with another man is when I'd had enough.

Does his emasculation lead anywhere? Like does he snap and kill the writer? Or is he really just happy with being a literal cuck.

Im not even bothering with this latest season after everything I've heard about this shitshow thanks to Robin Wrights gurl power fantasy retconning and going against every single fucking motivating factor behind the main characters like Frank's goal in life to become president. She's made every part of this show do a complete 180 after it was already nearly fallen off completely in quality after Season 3.

Now its an absolute fucking mess. Someone get David Fincher back, PLEASE.

>PLEASE
kill yourself faggot

>that cold open where Remy and railing Claire without restraint while Frank masturbates faster than his old white body can handle

it's 'PLEASE kill yourself faggot.'

have some fucking manners user.

Honestly, if it was Remy fucking Claire, it would be 10/10 instead of sleepy heroin faggot.

You guys are acting like children. Just because the show doesn't go the way you want it it doesn't mean it's necessarily bad. I hated season 3 because the whole "hurrr durrr muh gurl power" thing was uncalled for, but it really made sense for Frank to end up choosing the private sector. I mean, come on. There's a reason we spent two seasons watching his presidency take hit after hit. After a while it was obvious the presidency had to go to Claire in order to keep the power on Frank's side. I really think this season was kino, at least until the fucking ending. The cinematography wasn't great but whether you like to admit it or not, the writing was very interesting with tons of arcs going separately at the same time and entangling near the end. I was on the edge of my seat all the time, all the way until the fucking ending. I don't mind the president being a cuck. You have to accept it, it's a common issue in our time. Cuckoldry, I mean. Luckily our presidents only get cucked by your friend and neighbor, the private sector. Deal with it, faggots. It could have been worse: Tom Yates could have been a fucking nigger. What's worse, a nigger who writes. Wtf is up with that? I want to make something very clear, though: The ending makes no sense. Why the shit would Claire trust Jane Davis more than Frank? And why the fucking hell wouldn't she pardon him? To me, that's the only thing that didn't make sense in this season. Almost every other complain you anons have is about your shitty expectations, political opinions and sexual insecurities. Of course most garbage today comes with a free message from the Jews, but this is a self aware enough show, treat it as such and enjoy it or waste your time watching stuff you hate like you always do.

And give me a link to the Twin Peaks episode 5 leak I'm fucking tired of waiting.

The show sucked after season 1. I only still watch because of Kevin Spacey's acting, I enjoy his intensity in the show. Besides that, it's a flop. Thank Robin Wright for that.

Getting rid of the ribs was when I knew the show was gonna go downhill, but S2 ended so perfectly that I forgave it.

Then S3 happened...

>Rochelle...Rochelle

He actually said it, the actual madman.

I HATED this season because I'm deaf in one ear and couldn't keep up with what was happening.

executive producer is an empty title. kevin spacey is an executive producer.

>Don't cheat on my wife

I was waiting for him to wake up on the couch or something but it turned out to be real.
Such a shitty and boring ploy to get rid of the Cathy problem.
This show really went downhill this season...

> When Frank's just sitting and watching his wife sleep with another man
I busted up laughing at this, I couldn't believe that they had reached this point. Tom was a mistake.

>rapping his knuckles
holy shit

He didn't even do it once this season

somewhere in one of the middle episodes he did. he said something to the effect of "still alive" then rapped his ring on the desk.

You bbc cucks sure do love to self insert

I wish he would come out if he is gay in real life.

the election plot made no sense to me. But they made it worse by hiding who won the house, who won the senate, and then acting like each state had one vote in the house when the 1824 each state had votes equal to the number of seats in the house.
Claire only gets in because "Maine owes me [LeAnn] a favor" and then Republicans just say, "Wow, Maine, didn't see that one coming" :^)

And then they're like "oh no we're gonna do a 2nd vote in Tennessee and Ohio, but apparently Tennessee no longer counts," even though I could've sworn Conway said he only needed to win one or the other to have 270, while Frank needed to win both

BUT THEN they're like "Oh yeah we're gonna have a secret bilderberg meeting inna woods where the two candidates will court the rich cabals that will somehow rig the election to whoever impresses them the most. But LOL NONE OF THAT ACTUALLY MATTERS, here's a recording of Conway yelling at his pilots. It's just deus ex machina after deus ex machina.

the show has been like this since episode 1

It's not like the Republicans are any better. Francis and Claire might as well have PSYCHOPATH etched in their foreheads, yet they still play everyone around them for fools.

Please notice that the cuck arc started EXACTLY when Robyn Wright (Claire) took over the production. Which she did after throwing a shitfit that she's earning less than Spacey.

Either way I stopped watching this show. It's just not interesting to me anymore.

made me chuckle

>The Fall for another season when the fucking serial killer who was the focus of the whole show is dead. like for what purpose?
About fucking time, never understood how people could keep watching that recycle factory.

Then they are going to be no better than the average network, is great that they are trying to be the champion of expensive TV shows but if you are just going to be the typical "fund 100 keep 10, advertise 5" then is worth shit.

And the cycle goes on.

>somewhat human in the first seasons
he murdered a bitch in the beginning of season 2 dude

>dude
and so what?

Ditto. Thought for sure it was a dream sequence.

This whole season is shit. Can't believe they didn't wrap the show up already; really they could have ended it last season.

Is Narcos s3 confirmed even about Colombia? (I like the anthology idea; follow some Mexican drug kingpin or whatever)

I mean it dropped in writing quality, yes but everything else is still excellent in my opinion. For example the acting is stone cold on point and perfect, the lighting, the sets, the costumes, the editing it's all fucking insane. So as far as I see it even with the very mediocre writing, the budget and production value still makes this show very watchable. It's lost its thrill and underlying wit but it's quite comfy to watch with its pace and character interactions. Boring might fit as a description, but it's boring on a high level.

Honestly didn't hate the season most of the time I was watching it, but the ending was so fucking stupid. How exactly is she going to cold shoulder frank? Murder him? Thats literally the only option where he doesn't torch everything. Absolute nonsense. Lot of things could be argued but I don't really disagree if Frank changed his mind to private being the real power, as its frankly true IRL. But with his wife as prez he could get crazy shit done on an unfathomnable level.

>I can't believe the President is a literal cuck.
give the webm of the cucking

I'd probably blame the writing more than anything else, it's not really the actors fault but after 5 seasons why does it feel like Frank, Claire and Cathy were written by someone that hand only read the synopsis? Doug was the only long term character that still seemed to "fit" and the new characters just seemed to come out of nowhere. Frank had been president for what, 2 years at this point? And all of a sudden there's a magical mystery woman that knows everyone in the fucking world and is sketchy as fuck. I'm rambling but the writing was seriously fucking atrocious this season.

And after double checking, I am not surprised that the last two episodes were directed by Robin.

Yes it's about the Cali Cartel

youtube.com/watch?v=1mgXpnfw6Wk

>Frank has been chased by his murder of Zoe for the last 2 seasons
>realises that shit from the past will always come back to haunt you
>Tom and Leann are murdered off the cuff and without regard

>And then they're like "oh no we're gonna do a 2nd vote in Tennessee and Ohio, but apparently Tennessee no longer counts," even though I could've sworn Conway said he only needed to win one or the other to have 270, while Frank needed to win both

Yeah this was fucking bad. They explicitly said that Conway could win with just Tennessee.

>this scene is completely devalued now

youtube.com/watch?v=rb5dEtNIKZk

Should have ended it right there.

Netflix is more concerned with quantity of shows rather than quality. They got what they wanted out of house of cards from the get. Won some awards now they can shove it your face no matter how bad it gets

>It's a "Claire is a petulant child even though Frank gives her everything she asks for" season
So much wasted potential...

That we need to watch her tired face even more in the next season.

this shit is just funny

I only reacted with mild confusion at this scene because the show was already heading towards its inevitably bad season ending.

why did they turn Frank into Trump?

Robin Wright destroyed this show.

>well actually I spent a night in the woods and realised I'm wrong
It was actually because he tripped and fell, so the realization actually came to him within the span of a coupel of seconds. Some truly genius stuff right there.

The satire and parody was all over the fucking place in this season. They couldn't decide which characters were mimicking which real life politicians. So they seemed to take a pic'n'mix approach. They should have ignored the Trump administration and last year's campaigns and stuck to their own story.

Apart from what the Sup Forums shitposters spam here with, I don't really pay attention to US politics, didn't really notice any Trump jabs.

What were they?

There was a pretty overt Comey jab during the FBI agent's testimony, but I don't remember an explicit trump reference during the season.
