What are Sup Forumss favourite frames in film?

more than half of those lines don't correspond to anything in the picture

you might as well have drawn 1 rectangle

...

what is the significant of these lines to the film?

That's a dumb picture

it's that scene in the shining where Jack Nicholson was about to be killed by a sniper

...

One point perspective is a drawing method that shows how things appear to get smaller as they get further away, converging towards a single 'vanishing point' on the horizon line

Ok so I don't see every line but I see a few:

1. small box, doorframe above Jack Nichol's face + the molding on the ceilings
2. small box column on screen right
3. big box, column on screen right
4. big box, maze
5. bottom right diagonal, maze
6. bottom left diagonal, maze
7. left line molding on the middle column
8. big box, left picture frame

These don't "mean" anything but they form a very strong perspective on the subject of the frame. You know the phrase 'every frame a painting'? This is one of those kinda deals where these subtle elements enhance the picture. Your eyes naturally follow sightlines and even these smaller ones help in that.
